- The Indigenous People of Biafra on Sunday, March 12, concluded its exhibition tagged: "The Biafra Genoocide Exhibition (BGE). - The event which took place in Vitoria Spain plans is expected to spread to other countries of the world The Indigenous People of Biafra on Sunday, March 12, concluded its exhibition tagged: "The Biafra Genoocide Exhibition (BGE). The event which took place in Vitoria Spain plans is expected to spread to other countries of the world, IPOB said in a statement. Powerful Emma, IPOB spokesperson who described the event as a success said there are plans by the group to move to the next stage of the Biafra struggle. "They came from such countries as United States of America (USA); Canada; United Kingdom; Switzerland; Malaysia; Germany; France; India; Australia and several others. Africa countries were not left out, who came from Ghana; Congo; South Africa; Cote d’Ivoire; and several others. Among the Biafran leaders that attended was Uche Mefor, Deputy Leader of IPOB, and Deputy Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television; Uche Asiegbu, head of Directorate of State; and others," the statement said. He said the event which was attended by leaders and contributors of IPOB from over 60 countries was aimed at showcasing inhumane treatment meted to Biafra agitators by the federal government and its security agencies. "The intention of the Biafrans was to use the exhibition to expose to the world the atrocities that Nigerian government – and its wicked and unkind population – unleashed on the Biafran people under the guise of a war (urged on by British government) from 1967 - 1970," it said. The group further accused the former head of state Yakubu Gowon efforts to kill, "Biafrans through bombing of hospitals, schools, train stations and bus stations." "The Biafrans also wanted the world to know about the current genocide being perpetrated against them currently since Buhari took the reins of power. They wanted to tell the world about the Fulani herdsmen that Buhari unleashed on Biafra communities to kill, annihilate and take over their lands; the Boko Haram which he trained, funded, and unleashed on the people together other Northern Muslim rulers; as well as the atrocities of the so-called Nigerian military – which is nothing but an army of occupation of Biafraland. But the Nigerian government, its officials, and most unexpectedly the British government, did not want the world to know about these things. That was why stunts were played; and lies told to either take attention away from it (since they could not stop it); or limit its reach. They equally tried to shape public opinion against it. One of the ways they tried to do this was to fix the “movie” they called “the return of their President Buhari” on the first day of the exhibition. They hoped that the reportage of it by their Lagos/Ibadan media would be able to drawn out the news. Next, they bribed French Ambassador to Nigeria, Denys Gauer (as Nigerian government has always done with ambassadors of countries sent to it), to speak against Biafra. The attempt was to douse the moral fiber of the Biafra agitation. Unfortunately for Nigeria government, Gauer, and all other one-Nigerianists, the Biafra Genocide Exhibition (BGE) is not a one-off event. Instead, it is one that would eventually be replicated in many countries of the world. From France, it would fan out to other countries. Indeed, what the leaders did in Spain was to light the touch of the exhibition which they would take to their countries of abode. The group also indicated that the next exhibition will be hosted in France, a plan focused on encouraging the French government and its people to support Biafra agitation. "From France the exhibition will go to other countries like Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia, Italy, Russia, United States of America, Switzerland, and all countries were IPOB is found. Biafra is winning," IPOB said. https://www.naij.com/1093777-biafra-exhibition-kicks-spain-photos.html

ElsonMorali:No Nigerian ex president can be jailed and you know it. |
Otobo will suffer for this. |
lalasticlala, this is good stuff for the home page. ![]() |
Some of us have been saying and shouting this for a long time now but no one is listening. Nigeria is structured to favour the hausa/fulani. This is the reason why Wole Soyinka has described the fulani as first class citizens while others don't really matter. Look at what happened in Enugu for instance, the military was informed that herdsmen were seen gathering but they looked the other way. The murderous demons later attacked the community where lives were lost. The youths on noticing this mobilised to engage the demonic herdsmen only for the same military to come and arrest all of them taking them to zone 2. Relatives had to contribute monies to get them released. The case of the MB is now beyond description. The rate at which the invading demonic fulani herdsmen are killing the MB people and sacking communities, it is a question of when not if they will eventually finish off the people of the MB and occupy their lands for grazing cattle. They recently asked some communities in Southern Kaduna to evacuate their lands because the lands had been designated for grazing cattle. These demonic herdsmen finish the inhabitants and move in large cattles in droves to graze. This is Nigeria for you. The reason why there has been a loud outcry for secession from the east is because it is looking like that is the only way out. Peaople have been clamouring for resource control/restructing fro eternity now but no one is listening. Ken Saro Wiwa ended up being hanged for daring to fight for the rights of his marginalised people. Something will definitely give soon, I am certain of that.

- There has been serious apprehension in many communities in Nigeria following constant invasion by herdsmen - Benue state has been one of the most hit with many inhabitants and killed while others have become refugees Some communities in Benue state are currently in mourning after an alleged attack by Fulani herdsmen. Currently, not less than 30 bodies of killed indigenes and residents, including that of the secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Buruku local government area, Mr Ter Ashirga, have been recovered The dead, according to the New Telegraph, include a tax collector and four refugees. They were allegedly killed on Sunday at Abuku, a crossing point on River Buruku, and dumped at the bank of the river. The APC chieftain was allegedly murdered when the Fulani herdsmen stormed his village at Mbagbaan, Tombo in Buruku. The report said he was shot alongside some of his kinsmen. After his death, the village was razed down making many inhabitants to flee leaving their farmlands. After the attack, the herdsmen reportedly brought their cattle into the farmland to eat up what was left. It was learnt that over 3,000 houses were deserted with the inhabitants leaving their properties and foodstuff. The report said those who fled the troubled area are now camped in Gboko, the traditional headquarters of the Tiv nation, and Katsina-Ala, as refugees. The scene has been visited by Governor Samuel Ortom and members of the state security and executive council for an assessment of the security and humanitarian situation. Condemning the killing, the governor called on the people to avoid any revenge. He also called on the federal government to assist the state to end the crisis. The governor tasked the people of the state to always report any suspicion and further attacks. https://www.naij.com/1093543-30-bodies-recovered-benue-community-herdsmen-attack.html |
DropShot:You are not quite correct. In 1999, the general impression was that a Yoruba man should be president because for the first time, a clear winner of a presidential election was denied the office and not only that, he was imprisoned and killed alongside his wife. |
God heal you speedily. |
omoharry:You're an eediot. The hausas can never trying a frontal attack anywhere in the east. They flee into various military barracks at the drop of a hat. http://www.nationalhelm.net/2016/08/imo-state-on-fire-as-hausa-indigenes.html http://www.punchng.com/news/confusion-in-asaba-as-igbo-hausa-clash/ |
It is also important for us to do a bit of restructuring in this country. It would be good to implement parts of the recommendations of the 2014 national conference. |
Igbos:Your moniker is offensive. |

By Emeka Mamah Enugu — The South East Leadership Development Initiative, SELDI, has condemned the call by former President Olusegun Obasanjo for the Igbo to contest the presidency in 2019, saying the north should be allowed to complete its tenure in 2023. SELDI’s convener, Mr Ikechukwu Modebelu, who spoke in an interview with Vanguard in Enugu said Igbo would likely get the country’s presidency after the north had completed its tenure, warning that no Igbo man should be deceived into running for the office as there was no vacancy in 2019. Modebelu said Obasanjo was setting a booby trap for the Igbo by asking them to contest the presidency in 2019 when the north had not completed its tenure under the zoning arrangement. He said: “Our region remains one of the major regions that has not had power. We must get prepared for the position by building our own leaders. “Our region needs industries and that is why we are talking about the think-home policy. A study carried out by one of the associations which make up the Ohanaeze Ndigbo socio-cultural association, the Aka- Ikenga, between 2010 and 2011 showed that Ndigbo had over 450 companies between Ota and Lagos axis alone, making the area one of the most industrialised in Africa. “We need to also encourage our people to invest at home to create employment for our youths, who feel discriminated against in the country. “We must assuage the feelings of young Biafrans that Ndigbo are being treated as if they are not Nigerians by dousing their agitation. “Our elders must have the wisdom of to douse the agitations of our youths by informing them that we are still part of this country between now and 2023 for us to get our people prepared for the position before we can meaningfully campaign for the presidency in 2023.” Modebelu, however, commended the President- General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nnia Nwodo, over his recent tour of Rivers State and promise to meet Governor Okowa of Delta State, saying that the boundary of Ndigbo started from Asaba and ended at Ikwere in Rivers State. Good one. |
Why is it that you will never find omenka, omenkalives, noethnicity, vedaxcool on threads like this? |
Chai! Pazienza I salute you! You are truly an Igbo son. Only Pazienza taking on like 10 Yoruba's and bashing them left, right and centre. Only Pazienza against like 10 Yorubas yet standing strong and holding his own. No wonder Biafran soldiers killed more Nigerian soldiers during the civil war with their bolt action rifles. I now understand why Nigeria suffered heavier military losses than the Igbos. Pazienza, I salute you Sir. You are a one man army. |
shukuokukobambi:The man is obviously not well enough. I think he was forced to return and show himself. |
Arrant nonsense. What sense really in buying a wrist watch for 40 million naira. makes no sense at all. |
Lawyers in the house please fall in. What does the Nigerian constitution say? How can we have a president and an acting president at the same time from now till 2019? How will that work? How much longer can Buhari continue like this and what does it take to impeach a president? |
VirginFinder:I honestly pray he does not die in power. I don't another case of dead president. |
hotwax:I am sure the hausas killed first before your people were forced to retaliate so stop the chest beating. We have seen corpses and cannot tell their ethnicity. Sure, the hausas must have taken the bigger casualties but I am certain yorubas were killed as well. |
CROWNWEALTH019:It is bad to talk like this about your fellow human. Very bad. |
VirginFinder:You don't expect their leaders to say it out. Let's watch and see how things pan out if Buhari does not survive till 2019. |
VirginFinder:They are not inconsequential. What they said is the mindset and mood of the north. They feel cheated in this democracy by the south. |
If Osinbajo ends up as president, he should immediately restructure Nigeria. |
VirginFinder:The northerners have said that it is their turn and that power must remain with them till 2023. If they need to do a coup they will do it. |
VirginFinder:The CABAL will always make sure they get Buhari's nod to do whatever Osinbajo says. This will go on and if in the event Buhari doesn't make it(God forbid), all hell will be let lose to remove Osinbajo. |
This prostitute should allow us rest nah? |
The north has vowed to ensure that it retains the presidency till 2023 whether Buhari is there or not. My question is this, what if Buhari doesn't make it out of this health problem bedeviling him? We know constitutionally the VP should take over which means Osinbajo will take over fully as president. My quesion is how does the north intend to carry out their threat? Will they plan a copup or something? |
TimeManager:I need to clarify properly on this. cc nonaira, Pazienza |
