I've fought and killed a lot of those monsters, but I can't be sure if that's a unique, tougher boss. the first one i fought with, i defeated easily. If that's your first one, just keep attacking and blocking and attacking till it gets weak. Then you finish a QTE to finish him off. there's no special tactics involved.

Not really. But objects flicker (appear and dissappear). And it's slow, even after all my tweaking.

on a snake farm issue??

I am a developer myself. Blender and Unity3D are my main tools. I'm quite good in modelling, but i basically suck when it comes to texturing. For the game engine, i use c#. And i'm pretty damn good with it (as far as game development goes).

I'm currently working on a combo-based beat 'em up game. I started it as a 3rd-person shooter, but after leaving it for a long while and later coming back to it, it seemed all messed up, and it was difficult to pick up from where I left off. So I started afresh in a beat 'em up game using the same character, and it's going smoothly for now.

Below are some renders that show my 'expertise' in 3d modelling. When I have the resources, i'll post screenshots from the game engine showing the game in play. The first picture is a render of the high-poly version of the character i use in my game. I call her Jean. The second character there I call Maxwell.

Hello, game developers in the house. Greetings. This thread was created to be used in the future as a reference to meet with other developers like yourself, to partner up and form teams. It'll act as an 'address book', from which you can contact other developers you wish to work with. Developers should please post their contacts* (emails, official phone numbers, websites, blogs addresses*.....), abilities and inabilities (the areas in 3d game development where you're good at or bad at, like modelling, texturing or programming) and your progress and experiences (your WIPs, your published games if any and links to them, using screenshots if possible for descriptions). This thread is mostly intended for blender and unity3d users, but users of other modelling softwares or game engines are, by all means, welcome to join.

Most of us have indie projects of our own, and are quite happy with our progress, but no man is an island. Sooner or later, you'll realize that your WIPs will only reach completion if you work with other determined developers like you. Believe it or not, most of the top developers in the game industry started out this way. There would be no COD, or GOW if developers didn't work in teams. So I call on all game developers out there, experienced or not, to contribute anything here that will help others reach you.

Homguy: hello pal. Are you in Ibadan? I hacvent been able to play any game with cache on my device, the Apk always asks to download additional data and oftens doesn't complete download it, even when I have data and a strong network. I need guidance as regards how to install heavy games on this tab.

These days, downloadin' directly from the game is either impossible or frustratin'. It's better to download the whole package (both the apk and the data files) from other sites. Examples of sites like this include andropalace.net, which is my favourite now. Most sites like this upload the apk and data files in compressed file(s) on filehosting sites like zippyshare and datafilehost. On this filehostin' sites, data files, if greater than 200mb, are splitted into parts which should all be downloaded. It's recommended to use a very efficient download manager like ADM or 'LoaderDroid' because files can easily get corrupted when downloadin' with a mobile. It's not funny when you waste 150mb data just like that. When all this parts are downloaded, you should use a file archiver to extract them. 'B1Archiver' is a good app for that if you're usin' your mobile. So you extract the first part, and all others will be automatically extracted provided they're in the same folder. When extracted, this data file have to be placed in their specific folders. Most times, instructions are given in a txt file in the downloads, if not, then you can check the site they were downloaded from or just google it. When they've been placed in their folders, then you can install the apk (which has also been extracted from the downloaded files) and play.

#hope I didn't say too much story sha.

N.B; most of the new games i've downloaded on my p9 recently always give me an "INVALID LICENSE" error. There's NO WAY to get through this unless your phone is rooted. Then you can use 'freedom' app to get past the error and continue the game.

Get a 2OOOmah charger. plug it to d socket, den press ur fones power botten for like 15 seconds...keep holding it, den insert d charger. While still holding it. D phone shud power up now.

Oh. wish I had known about that. Although I spent a whole day on google lookin' for solutions, I couldn't find anything that could help. When I started missin' my games, I then took it to carlcare. Anyway, i've gotten my tab back. As good as it was before the annoying SOD.

i Doubt Lucky Patcher Can Do Anything Here. But There May Be Another Way Out. have you checked the 'assistant' app? if they aren't there, then the apk files of Those Uninstalled Games Are Somewhere Deep In The Root Of The Phone. If You're Rooted, Download 'RootBrowser' and use it to find those games' apk files. if you're not, download 'androzip file manager' and search for them. i'm not with my phone now, else i would've given specific directions.

teemony: Hello, when I bought my p9 the real football2013 was working properly and I started playing the game. Later on I uninstalled kingdoms and lords, my little big city and wonder zoo applications on the tab. After that when I try to open rf2013, it says " to run rf13 game, the wonder zoo, kingdoms and lords, little big city applications needs to be installed on this device ". Then I went to Google play and installed the 3 games again, but the rf13 game is still saying the same thing. I have restarted my phone many times, still no difference.
Someone please help. Or anybody who has experienced the same thing.

it's Possible that the versions of the ones you downloaded are different from the ones that came with the phone.
Solution; Reset your phone. Since you just bought it, it shouldn't hurt much.

up until now, i've never heard of urho3d, and, believe me, i researched A LOT before i finally picked my choice of game engine. i'll still check it up on the net soon.
so, like i said, consider this for your next game, if you don't want to start from scratch. but if you look up unity3d now, and you feel it's better, it's easy to port. unity has a very clear interface. the supported programming languages are unityscript (similar to javascript), c# and boo. c# is my preferred language cos it's professional, and since you're familiar with c++, it shouldn't be hard to learn. trust me, you'll love unity when you get to know it. wish i could show you my progress via screenshots, but like i said, i'm using a poor phone right now. so, well, just take a look at it.

in the whole of nairaland, i've not seen anyone as determined and as serious-minded as you are. your passion is very strong and admirable. before i came across this thread, i thought i was the most hot-headed when it comes to 3d game development. you're the kind of person i'd like to work with.

now. i don't want to tear you away from urho3d, because you seem to be so attached to it. also, i don't want your progress to be disrupted, but perhaps for your next game, i want you to at least take a look at unity3d game engine. you mentioned something about a rendering engine, needing a physics engine and sound engine, but unity3d has everything you need in one package. a lot of GREAT mobile, pc and even console games have been created using unity3d. infact if you own an android or ios phone, download and play "contract killer: zombies 2: origins". made solely with unity3d. it's popular, and there are more than enough documentations and tutorials on the net. you'll get the hang of it within weeks.
