Education › Re: Nairaland Mathematics Clinic by mathefaro(m): 7:22pm On Sep 20, 2013

honey: changing the question to logarithimic form....we have [x+1]log5=[x²-1]log3, expanding the bracket and moving the LHS to the RHS,.....log3.x²-log5x-log15.... seeing that this is a quadratic equation, we use formula method.... x= (log5+_([log5]²+4.[log3*log15])^1/2)/2log3....x= (0.6990+1.6532)/0.9542 or (0.6990-1.6532)/0.9542....... x= 2.4651 or -1

My brother, [x+1]log5 != log5x + log5 and
[x²-1]log3 != log3.x²-log3

it should be noted that
(a + b)log 5 = alog5 + blog5
==> log5^a + log5^b
and not
log5.a + log5.b
I hope you get my point.
Weldone generals.

top it with 4mb *141*119#, it costs 50 naira, it should definitely work after that

before you can use it, you need to subscribe for any if their data plan to top it up, preferably, since it's cheaper, you can opt for that of 4mb which is just 50 naira. *141*11*9#

Maybe that was because you did a full time program. how long did it take you to process it, and how were you able to get it at hand, I thought someone said they don't give it students in Laspotech.
