I have this issue with my wife with regards sex while fasting, I'm a Catholic while my wife attends redeem, we have our understanding with regards church so that's not an issue. We go to my church more often but atend her's sometimes. But I don't have issue with her taking part in their program. We got married last year.
The problem now is that redeem are having I think 51 days of fasting and she is partaking in it and now asking me not to have sex until after the fasting. I told her that after their own fasting, we the Catholic are starting ours for 40days.
I asked her does that mean no sex for almost 3 months?
I have told her my mind, it's either we make love after she's done fasting everyday or she doesn't fast at all. I don't want to go and look outside when I have a wife I love at home.
Pls my people in the house any advice?

Yes I agree with you that we sin even without knowing. My point here is that our ancestors are no more and I don't think they still sin since they are no more. So asking for forgiveness for their sins on a daily shows lack of faith.

Yes we do, but do our ancestors repeat sins after death?
We can pray for the forgiveness of sins for parents, siblings, uncle's and aunties that are alive because everyone sins as long as we live.
But our ancestors are dead and don't sin again.
Except u are trying to tell me that they sin even in death.

We are the reason we are being affected by our ancestry sins, this is because of our lack of faith.
Everyday we keep reminding God to forgive us our sins and that of or ancestors, we keep repeating the same prayers day and night, weeks after weeks months after months and yearly.
If you pray to God to forgive you ur sins once and u believe it's been forgiven, why repeat the prayer everyday?
What I think is that we never believed God forgave us the first time we asked for forgiveness.
Just pray once and believe that he has forgiven you the sins and move on.
If you repeat same prayers (ancestral sins) everyday, it means u never believed God forgave you in the first place, and that shows lack of faith.
What is faith with doubt? It means unbelieve.
Why will God forgive you if u don't believe he actually did.
Just pray for forgiveness, believe and that all. Stop repeating prayers .

I love ur stands but I think sometimes it's best we give them a little time to show themselves more and see if we can correct them. Some might take corrections and some might not. But to tell you the truth, both men and women have a character that is not ok with their partners.
