What is your eligibility review saying?

While I agree that this is close to the truth, we have people in this group that were denied even after 10 and 12 weeks.

You are on point!!!

Maybe he's referring to paper route application..

Good morning sir/ma

Am asking you this on behalf of a good friend ni oooo...

He got research assistantship of $18,000/yr n his tuition is $9,000 / yr......

He came from an humble background so he don't have much on him BUT due to the way CIC are denying people based on Personal assets and financial status,i advised him to atleast PUT his statement of account with his application.... He said the only way out of these is that he has an UNCLE(is mum's junior brother) who is not willing to be is sponsor cos he doesn't want to drop is company bank account statement BUT that he promised to instruct is bank to pay a sum of #2.5million to his account.... His uncle will submit the following:

1. Letter been addressed to the bank instructing them to transfer a sum of #2.5million to my friends account...

2. Bank addressing a letter to CIC that on a particular date a sum of #2.5m was transferred from this account(uncle) to my friends account...

3. Certificate of Occupancy of uncles company..

4.Uncle writing a gift deed and been notorized that the money he gave my friend is to take care of other expenses and that the #2.5m is solely for my friend now...

*My friend plans to submit his study application by May 2018 but his uncle is sending him the money January 2018, the reason why he wants to submit by May is because he want to use the opportunity of his bank statement of account to runs the express entry which must reflect at least 6month statement.. So he said by April 2018, he will buy treasury bills worth 2.5m in his name to show the embassy that the money is for him and not his uncle anymore and then he will include the treasury bill certificate in his study permit application by May 2018*

Am asking you all this because his a wonderful friend and I told him I will seek advice from people in this forum

Good evening everyone,

I wanna share my testimony to at least encourage someone on here. I’ve been a silent reader for sometime now and my application just got approved so it’s only normal I come to give the usual shoutouts and all lol.

Well I applied for my study permit application on the 29th of September at vfs Lekki by 5PM i was the last person to submit that day after begging and begging to be let in.

I just wanna thank God after writing jamb and jupeb twice passing and hearing stories and sitting down at home doing sales girl for my parents as all hope was already lost.

Profile: Bsc Computer science Thompson rivers university Kamloops
Submitted 29th September
Medical call 3rd November
Had some complications so I had to repeat twice
Passed medicals 16th and status changed to approved today.

HMU if you’re in Kamloops please. Thank you all uncle Mazi Austin Jnyuwa Glam and all the contributors. And congrats Abiodunne God is never late.

Hmmm.. congrats sis
when did you get your approval?

Absolutely you need to present statement of account even as a fully funded prospective student. Cover all grounds and make your application full proof, leaving nothing to chance. VOs do deny people for lack of asset in country of residence. Your money in the bank or property can help put to rest that ground of denial. Even as a fully funded candidate you have to meet that ground, tie in country of residence ground which is another way to look at it.

Good morning, Pls I want you to help clarify this... Although, have submitted my study permit... My sponsor who happens to be in Canada had already paid my tuition fees, gave me his pay slip from the company he works with, but my question is that he did not give me his statement of account rather, he got a letter from his bank in Canada stating when he opened the account and the amount that is presently in his account........ my concern is no statement of account?

Three day later, I got a call from the clinic that my medical was OK and they have submitted but up till now it has not reflected in a cic account. Is there any reason for me to worried? Hello house, I got a msg today to pick up my proccessed passport at the VAC....my worry is that, can I get a visa approval without having a request for medical?

it depends..... if the program you going for is 6 month or less no need of medicals BUT if it's more than 6 month then you ought to have been called for medicals... when did you apply? and what program are you going for?

Hello House, how soon can one go collect d submitted passport once a decision has been made. Will one get a mail to come for it? I got denied.. Submitted 2nd week of last month. Secondly can one appeal instead of reapplying all over again pls

sorry about the refusal..... it takes 5-7 working days for you to be able to get your passport...... Try and share your profile in order to get suggestions and advice from the house.... However, as for whether to appeal, I would advice you not to except you have cogent reasons which you think when you appeal, it will be in your favour....

what were the reasons for your refusal? and why not order for your gcms note to know what the VO thinks about your application.....

hello everyone
just went to pick up my passport from the Canadian visa office and I was denied. I applied for a graduate program of 12 months. supply chain management. I submitted my application on 18/9/2017. rejected 20/11/2017

the reasons were:
purpose of visit.
little employment prospects.
current employment situation,I was unemployed.
personal assets and financial status.(for a 23 yr old)

documents submitted:
secondary school certificate
waec certificate.
university certificate
NYSC certificate.
birth certificate.

little work experience while in school and after.

mums share certificate worth more than 1.5 million.

mum and dads statement of account worth up to 7 million after school fees have been paid.

my dads company's account has too many activities in as much as the balance as at when submitted was 3 million.

my dads house property, the house we currently live in.

document of personal property that was acquired in my name as a child worth 40 million.

I am planning on reapplying or appealing again this month.
can someone tell me if I should add any other thing. my family have other residential and landed properties but I didn't feel like they would be needed for a one year program.

sorry about the refusal, how come were you able to pick up your passport this fast (today) and you were refused on Monday(20/11/2017)...... I thought it takes 5-7 working days before your passport would be ready for collection....
please, shed more light on this...

Hello friends,
I just finished with my upfront medical exam, and now planning to go for police certificate. I learnt this can only be done in Alagbon Ikoyi Lagos. (Hope I am right?) Please how long does it take it get one, and how much do they charge? I would appreciate your kind and timely response. Thanks.

Depending on your bargaining skills, you can have it done with 3k-5k at hand..... It's only done at Alagbon, Ikoyi and you get it immediately...... All the best.

Hello,
I got an admission at Osgoode Law school for a masters program (Winter2018)
I got denied visa on 13/11/17
I applied on 13/10/17
Reasons are: insufficient funds
Family ties in Canada and Nigeria
Purpose of visit
My sponsor is my guardian who I have been living with since primary school.
He put in the necessary documents needed with a huge SOA .
My question is: Can I reapply this week because classes start Jan 3rd
Or should I defer my admission for
For summer or fall session
I am confused and sad.
I need your help people.

Sorry for the refusal.. it is better you share your full profile here so that guru's in the house would give you suggestions and advice... However, why the rush to reapply this week... Try order for your gcms note then defer your admission to fall 2018..

Goodday, ive been following this thread for a while. I applied for a Canadian Study permit to study in a Flight School for approximately a year and some weeks. I submitted my application on 25th November, 2017 and i got a message to check my profile yesterday. After i checked, i found out that my eligibilty had changed to "We regret to inform you that you do not meet the eligibility requirements. Please see the final decision below" but theres nothing infront of the Final decision. its just blank. (from this i already know its a denial)

I immediately mailed the flight school to inform them of the denial and they replied me. Below is the picture of the mail.
i would like to get a suggestion on what to do next or if the decision can still be changed if the school contacts them.
Thank you as i anticipate a reply.

Sorry about the refusal, You said you submit 25th of November, how possible is that...... check the date Sir
