Good day house i just got an sms from vfs now and the message reads thus *Visa application, Tracking Id No. Xxxx- Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office Abuja-Ghana, on 13/11/2017 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.* and also received an email from vfs stating *Dear B, Visa application, ref no.xxxx has been dispatched to the Embassy of Denmark on 13/11/2017 for processing* i applied september 6. please i will like the gurus in the house to help me shed more light on this.. your swift response will be highly appreciated. Thanks

the first time, I got it 3rd day after denial at vsf office in Lagos, but the 2nd one I used courier so it took 13 days before I got it.

I think the bro is referring to a letter from your supervisor being addressed to the consular officer and not a funding letter...

My application was just refused on grounds of having sufficient and available resources without working in Canada to pay tuition fees and I have a fully funded position from my supervisors .and also on the ground of family ties in Canada and in country of residence and purpose of visit. Plss I want to reapply my school is starting Jan 3rd ..what can I do to respond to these concerns

Good Evening,My 1 year tuition is 15,445CAD for a 2year PGD intended study i was delayed 30th of last month for with all financial boxes ticked so i applied immediately for my GCMS note. After seeing the notes i think my case is a clear example of V.Os not checking all documents submitted please i really need your input and advise because i want reapply immediately. Apart from paying the tuition fee balance for 1year what other things do you think i can add to tackle this denial. Please see attached GCMS note stating Lump sum from an unknown source and below the history of the financial statement submitted.

Sponsor Mum
GT Bank - 7.8 million (Mum received rent of 4.6 million in July for a whole building she letted out to a school she also paid 7,500 CAD half of 1 year tuition in August
UBA- 2.3 million (her salary account with monthly income of 285,000)

My Bank Statement
GT Bank- 2.5 million (Mum transferred 1.5 million to me and she stated it in the letter addressed to V.O)

Please note that i included rent receipt of the 4.6 million and all documents of the building but obviously the V.O did not check the document and still denied me on lump sum from an unknown source. The v.O also stated i included a third party sponsor which is false. There two statement from my mum and my GTBank LOA

1-) Be guided that you are only expected to submit Originals of bank statement, Originals Letter of sponsorship addressed to the embassy at Accra, Originals Passport.

All other documents should be photocopies in as much as your documents won't be returned back to you after your application has been processed expect your ORIGINAL PASSPORT.

2-) You are expected to submit your application at VFS Lagos. The address is stated therein.

CIC is indeed funny. I got denied after waiting for 7 months. Reason: not enough money to pay tuition without working, meanwhile I have already paid first term tuition with more than enough fund (in sponsors account) to pay for the remaining one term.

Another reason is purpose of visit and employment situation at country of residence. Please gurus, how do I tackle this problem

A move I had already given up on, but God heard my cry & came to my aid.

Here is my timeline my beloved family.

MA (University of New Brunswick)

1st app: 7/10/16 (paper route)
Refused: 11/12/16 based on insufficient fund, purpose of visit & travel history.
Applied for gcms & worked on all refusal reasons.

2nd app: 1/6/17 (paper route)
Refused: 12/8/17, seeing this I became discouraged & gave up, but you all spurred me on & told me never to quit, then I contined the hustle. (collected back my passport though)
Gcms app.: 13/8/17

App. Updated: 17/8/17, seeing this I rejoiced & calmed.
Reqst letter: 21/8/17
Medical mail: 2/10/17
Medical done: 6/10/17
Medical passed: 11/10/17

Yes they will. The regulation doesn't need bank statement. Just proof of financial ability.

Lol. Of course you can spend the money after submitting bank statement. The only danger is if your application takes long, sometimes they ask for updated bank statement. So wise to spend little and leave the rest there till your application sails through. After that, you can go on a shopping spree. But don't forget to print a bank statement first before going on a shop spree- for any unforeseen circumstances to deal with officers at POE.

Urgent, my sponsor who happens to be in Canada working as a full time employer in one of the firms in Canada is ready to provide me with full sponsorship..... He want to pay my full tuition fees..... But the most worrying thing is that, He is not providing me with bank statement but he said he will get a letter from his bank in Canada writing when he opened the account and his current bank balance of over $20,000.... However, he is providing me with a letter of employment from the firm where he works, a letter from his firm stating his salary per annum,...

will the embassy honour just a bank letter from Canada without bank statement??

I indicated full scholarship. I even explained the scholarship extensively in my LOE. The scholarship comprised of Teaching Assistance though! But it still doesn't make sense at all!

However, apart from the full scholarship you got, did you also put another sponsor in your application and did you put your own bank statement in your application?
