Fire season without harmattan. |
Once the EFCC is through with softening Malami, he will be released to do the government's bidding. Jailing him would only be for a maximum of 4 to 5 years as the next northern president will grant him pardon ASAP. (Farouk Lawal, a classic example) |
Money stops nonsense . He who alleges must prove |
Didn't expect her to be doing this! She's too matured for this triviality. |
Hear her complaining that people left the church when the whole Nigerian Anglican community broke away from the British church.

From self-drive cars to a plane performing auto-landing. We are indeed at the frontier of the next-level technology. |
Corruption doesn't seem to be going out of fashion soon. How can you be requesting a kickback of up to 60% of the value of the land before issuing a C-of-O ?. |
The EFCC, ICPC and CCT should hide their faces in shame for the barefaced unbridled corruption under their watch. It seemed it was only the anti corruption agencies that were oblivious of the massive thievery being perpetuated by these public figures. Where is Buhari's nephew Tunde Sabiu (the recharge card seller) ? |
How nostalgic ! This picture must have been taken from Bowers Tower at Oke are. My university city ! |
Mama HID was really beautiful ! Dolapo osinbajo did not fall too far from the apple tree (grand daughter) Pa Awo did not disappoint in the arena of handsomenesss either. |
While having a lot to say and reveal, please have your lawyer by your side before your "bouche" (mouth) lands you in serious trouble. Any crime you are an accessory to, aided or abetted while with these men you now deride will also consume you. |
This is disheartening! I pray you recover the vehicle back in one piece. |
Good to see that the forest guards are being trained with high velocity rifles to match to an extent the arms of the terrorists. I hope they will be held to high standards and accountability in the preservation of those weapons and ammunition and not serve as a conduit for arms delivery to the terrorists. The reality of State police is very much in sight. |
Until elections are decided at the polling boots and not the supreme Court, any attempt at criminalizing voter apathy will receive a strong pushback from the populace. Also, to prevent ballot stuffing, snatching or vandalism, the electoral commission through legislation should start thinking of electronic voting. |
Prudent financial advise. Capital preservation is the key as from pre- retirement years to retirement. The rules of investing are just 2 according to Warren Buffett: Rule 1: Don't lose money Rule 2: Don't forget rule number 1 Highly educative piece |
There must be something in that religion that easily propels them to seek vengeance outside of the law despite living in a society where the rule of law is upheld. Imagine him having a family with good savings of 88k pounds and still willing to let all go just for a worthless cause. The British should follow in Trump's stead and start repatriating citizens of other nations who are easily indoctrinated into violent religious crimes. |
This is not a matter for public discuss. I comment my reservation |
Jamal Ahmad Hamza Khashoggi was a Saudi journalist, dissident, author, columnist and editor. Khashoggi was assassinated at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul (Turkey) on 2 October 2018 by agents of the Saudi government at the behest of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Turkey again is in the news for the crash of a private jet carrying the Libyan army chief Lt. Gen. Mohamed Al-Haddad who was killed along with four of his companions in the “tragic accident” while on flight home to Tripoli from an official visit to Ankara, Prime Minister Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah. Turkey is also a proxy player in the balkanized Libyan state, supporting the recognized central government of national unity. Turkey seems to be the ground where Arab dessidents are taken out of action. RIP |
Such a territorial conquest or better still covetousness will be over reaching and inordinately ambitious in a modern world. However, it's not a crime to daydream |
Exactly what I was telling my wife this morning. Here in the middle belt, the harmattan season this year seem to be on recess for now. |
hatchy:Why are you guys quick to generalize that someone must be 30k laptop boys for applauding a laudable policy or reform of this administration? I didn't vote for him but if he does well, I will applaud him and if he gaffes, I will excoriate him and it doesn't make me an obedient or agbadorian. |
simpleseyi:Job hunting At 3am ? Why do some of you guys think everyone on nairaland is your age mates? FYI, am currently on leave and enjoying nairaland all day and contributing to news items as I deem fit. Take your frustration forward my guy! Nairaland is fast loosing its values. Little wonder several bright minds have left the forum. I think the elders among us should start noting some monikers especially for use during job interviews in their establishments. |
hatchy:Ha ha ha! So funny! 30k laptop boy? My current income tax is over 111k my friend! |
Precaution is better than if I had known. This should be common sense now! |
ZombieDredd:Not my head o! I don't use public power, I gave up on it over 7 years ago. I only empathize with those currently in darkness. |
So sad! I'm speechless. |
Just hope he follows through with the employment of the late police rider's 2 oldest children. Condolences! |
Ha ha ha! This news just made my day if true. Congratulations Sunday Jackson. The pressure from America and several NGOs paid off finally. Avoid clicking on suspicious links please! |
No more independent news reportage from Israel. In a bid to bar Arab news media from broadcasting from Israel, Western News outlets will also suffer the unintended consequences. Talk of throwing away the baby with its bath water |
How do you explain this savagery and barbarism in a supposedly religious country. |
Some of our problems stems from the state of our minds. How was that decoration a source for concern if not that Nollywood has reduced people's IQ to a straight jacket thought process. The people did not complain about the permanent statues erected at the roundabout as looking fetish and "shrine-like" but suddenly became agitated when decorations were added to it. Hia!

According to him, some individuals who have never held offices as significant as that of a governor have also been implicated in stealing large sums of public funds I don't understand his argument! Is he making a case for governors that steals, since there are others (who are not up to governors) who steal public funds in amounts more than what governors siphon? |
