The report would have been complete by enumerating the products exported. Hoping these export claims are not refined petroleum products from the very Dangote refinery that the government is trying to "kill in its infancy" Export of raw materials and import of finished products is akin to exporting jobs for importation of inflation and unemployment. |
Someone should please explain how we dropped from meeting revenue target since August to having a 30 trillion naira shortfall in projected federal revenue. How does the government want us to take them seriously when the president keeps lying barefaced to the Nigerians and foreign portfolio investors? I have noticed that every time baba goes off script during public speakings, catastrophic gaffes always follows. At this rate, Nigeria should just file for bankruptcy at the world Bank and join the league of Argentina, Venezuela, Iran and Lebanon.

DeeFlask:Even course 45 (Gen obasanjo) are still brigadier generals with one year to go (promoted 2022)

We the bloody civilians saw the handwriting on the wall. Promoting the ADC to BG without spending the mandatory time on the rank and attendance of affiliate courses of which the national defense college formerly war college is one was a big misnomer. To add insult to the morale of the military was keeping a whole BG as ADC. Come to think of it, how was his seniors in the military supposed to salute him without them having lost seniority but due to favouritism? I hope baba is aware that should khaki boys chase him from power, dem never born ECOWAS to reason our matter |
Incisive! Inflation is in the logistics |
Somebody should please bring back the "firing Squad" |
Death seems to have lost its sting in this country! The lack of capital measures for such actions is fueling these heinous crimes. |
A mishap but we are grateful no life was lost. Front Landing gear issues from the picture seen in another thread opened here on NL.

Landing gear wahala indeed! The skid on the runway and sparks that flew in all directions must have scared the passengers to their pants. PJ come resemble bullet train The nation was spared another disaster. |

lebete3000:Weight grading for mattresses typically refers to how well a mattress supports different body weights. This is crucial for ensuring comfort and proper spinal alignment during sleep. Weight Categories Mattresses are often categorized based on the weight they can support effectively: Importance of Firmness Lightweight sleepers may feel more comfortable on softer mattresses that contour to their body shape. Average weight sleepers often prefer a medium firmness that provides both support and comfort. Heavyweight sleepers require firmer mattresses to ensure proper spinal alignment and prevent excessive sinking. Firmness categories: Extra soft (1–2) A mattress in this category feels remarkably cushy. You easily sink into it and the material contours closely to your body. Soft (3–4) A mattress in this category feels supple but not spongy. You still sink into it, though not as deeply, and the material accommodates your body without hugging it. Medium (5–6) A mattress in this category feels fairly neutral. You will not sink into it much (if at all), but the material will somewhat conform to your body. Firm (7– ![]() A mattress in this category feels solid but not overly hard. You may notice a slight “give” when you lie down, though the material provides minimal contouring. Extra firm (9–10) A mattress in this category feels remarkably rigid. You will remain on it rather than sink into it, and the material will not contour to your body at all. Finding the right firmness What firmness number is right for you? A lot of it depends: on your personal preference; your favorite sleeping position; and even your size. Review Teams found that mattresses that fall into the 5–8 (medium to firm) range generally meet the needs of most older adults. These mattresses tend to offer the right balance of: Cushioning—enough “give” to relieve stress on hips, shoulders, and knees Support—enough density to prevent back pain and keep the spine aligned Structure—enough bracing to make it easier to get into and out of bed Conclusion Choosing the right mattress based on weight grading is essential for achieving a good night's sleep. It helps in selecting a mattress that not only feels comfortable but also provides the necessary support for your body type.

This is serious. You don't pick a fight with sowore if you are not as clean as a whistle. Let's focus on Jesus and leave these MOGs to their devices. In the fullness of time, God will debase a lot of them and expose their escapades using his name. |
Ooooo no! This is heart rending. We should always "mind our language" when dealing with this "indomie generation" The other day, it was a 16 year old girl in Benue state that "cancelled her father's mistake" by deleting herself (Suicide) |
Even Jesus would have been suspended from deeper life if Luke 7 : 36- 50 occured today. Pharisees!!
|
The thread was opened to deride "selwoman" abi? "Selwoman" from what I read recently on nairaland was in the university fellowship with Selma. So they are almost contemporaries. The same relationship cannot be established between the Rev. and these MOGs. Let's drop this our holier than thou attitude and stop being like the "Far-to-see" (Pharisees). Remember the woman who kissed Jesus feet and used her hair to annoint them with expensive perfume? ....Luke 7: 36-50 Let's stop creating storms in tea cups abeg! |
This is a serious allegation that should not be left hanging. The criminals have the audacity to place calls in an era when calls can be easily tracked and located? Since she's a "nobody", our police will not have her time as usual. |
Bittersweetnig:How will you feel if you are stagnated in your work place with no increase in your emoluments for 35 years? Those using the argument that they have not gone to any war should apply same to university professors of say engineering who has not invented any machinery or ground breaking technology. |
Anybody still talking about body covering and SIN is a white washed sepulchre. Why leave the meat of the gospel (his crucification, his ascension and his glorification) to concentrate on the mundane. Why void John 3:16 ?. |
This kind of news is better broken in bits before person go die for this season. A nice one from Natasha. |
One party country being actualized. South South fully dusted. |
Vision101:I understand your submission. The president is still hesitant that's why the bill is not gaining traction. This rubber stamp assembly would have "finished work" if small kola was sent their way. I didn't mean a simple bill but a constitution alteration bill which I know will have to be passed by 2/3rd majority in both houses of the National Assembly and transmitted to the states houses of assembly and must have 24 out of 36 before it comes back to the national Assembly for amendment and then goes to the president for assent and Gazette. It is still a bill that has kick started the process. |
Congratulations! He has risen through the ranks to a 2 star general. As Head of psychological warfare, I wonder where he can be of use since Boko boys don't behave normal due to substance abuse. More wins ahead! |
The coincidence in the date is a cause for further investigation really. Since he's not Nostradamus, he'll have to explain how he was able to "role play" a coup in its exact format and date without prior knowledge. |
Hope they will be adequately armed with high caliber rifles like what the kidnappers/terrorists and bandits who lurk in these forests also carry? Issuing low caliber daneguns to them will make them sitting ducks for target practice. Instead of the multiplicity of arm bearing apparati within our security framework, what stops the government from sending a bill for the creation of state police? We have too many agencies duplicating the duties of the police today. Good call all the same. Nature abhors a vacuum |

Congratulations, you just painted that utopian society or should I call it hospital that doesn't exist across the length and breadth of Nigeria even in centre with EMR. Snapp back to reality my brother! We are still grappling with power in most centres of excellence (UCH inclusive) and you write glowingly about SOPs in ultramodern hospitals that even Aso rock clinic with her huge capital vote does not boast of. Let me reiterate it here again. No doctor goes blindly into treatment without analyzing the results coming from the labs or radiologist (who's also a doctor) himself. Besides, with the structure of our health system, a doctor in most secondary tier of health is saddled with the responsibility of being the physician, surgeon, lab scientists, anaesthetist and numerous other functions. This is our reality, not UTOPIA |
With such gruesome evidence, the army is busy denying the occurrence of such event. That brigade commander should be court martialed immediately. |
sonnie10:Do you know that interpretation of radiograph or any radiological investigation including ultrasound scan is a function of the machine and observer (knowledge gap) My friend, no doctor worth his salt will relegate the diagnosis of his patients illness to the report from a radiographer or even a radiologist without confirmation. What do you think the viewing boxes in doctor's consultation rooms are for? Who has the time to be transferring soft copies of an investigation results from phone to phone ? You are not speaking from an informed position. |
What sort of journalism is this. Where is the evidence of organ harvesting? Yes! Those corpses are badly preserved but to add organ harvesting just to score cheap propaganda is a slap on the investigative prowess of the police. |
sonnie10:You were quick to find fault with the example but didn't expand your horizon to capture possible scenarios were payments may be made for a service or consumable that may end up not delivered or out of stock for which refunds may be warranted. Agreed, their are digital radiology machines common in private outfits but the vast majority of hospitals especially government owned still rely on analogue machines. Let's not speak as if we live in a utopian society. Besides, most hospitals with digital machines still print out the hard copy either on paper or the regular film. Tell me you have not seen the regular radiographic film this new month and I'll tell you I've seen more than 10 already and this is in a federal teaching setting. I bet you, a nairalander knows someone who has taken a radiograph recently and it is that film you termed obsolete that was handed to them however the size it came in. (Digital radiographs consume less film) |
Any effort at reducing the handling of physical cash at MDAs will go a long way at stemming corruption. I hope there is provision for refunds in event of payment errors or payments made without commensurate service rendered. For example, how will remittance be effected when I pay for an emergency radiograph in a public hospital but discovered they don't have film for the investigation and I had to go outside to get it done? How about out of stock medications and consumables for which payments may be made but not dispensed? The circular ordered an immediate halt, stating that all revenues must be remitted to designated TSA or Sub-TSA accounts “without any deduction(s).” |
Mine, mine, mine! Not again! This is high handedness from the military. It's disheartening that we can respond to a coup in Benin Republic with alacrity and might but tarry until the damage is satisfactorily completed by the marauders before the same troops arrive to save their own people. Another wasteful board of enquiry will be set up that will lead nowhere as usual. How long does it take to fish out who gave the order in the Kebbi girls abduction? General T.Y Danjuma has said it all, I have nothing to add |
He is the player with the ball. All eyes are naturally on him from the opposition and his side. This tax net that will start catching everybody come January 2026 is giving some people sleepless nights. Blackbelle is allowed He should however not be dissuaded from completing the laudable reform already started. Things are looking up |
