Oh Lord! Not again! This high-prized captured General would have been traded to Iswap/BH who will use him for propaganda video as usual. There is really no delineation between banditry/kidnapping/and terrorism in the northern axis. Wonder what he is still doing with his Babangida-era 504 car in 2026. I guess that is the only car "built for Nigerian roads". May things turn out good for him

I really don't know what to think about this extrajudicial high-handedness. However, Placing myself on the side of the community threatened by these same Fulani miscreants would surely bring out the devil in me I just think ranching is the best way out of this quagmire |
WizardOfNG:Nobody is disputing the authenticity of the picture but ascribing the image to Mr president is spurious and distasteful. He couldn't have used that cap that only came out in the 90's. Loyalty should not be BLIND and devoid of common sense. |
WizardOfNG:That the picture is fake and you are not a student of history. QED |
WizardOfNG:Let me help a brother and clear your ignorance . Now, who has embarrassed himself with pedestrian and dullardly talk?
|
WizardOfNG:This is the peek cap he should be adorned in and not that 90s contraption. Why the invectives?
|
angelboy01:Very correct my brother. I had the privilege of seeing my dad's uniform and it was way different from what's available now. The khaki was Brown Coloured and the peek cap was "a beauty to behold"

2-1 sequence in descending order for 2 and Ascension for 1. Next number is 6 |
Hard fact with Incontrovertible evidence. I thought someone said he hears us "loud and clear" and that our pains are like "baby steps of pain" that would be over soon? The daily pressures placed on the masses by way of ill-conceived policies and rabid Injudicious borrowings will make our locomotion not only intractably painful but wobbly in our journey towards self actualization. The "fleecing mill" in present day Nigeria seems to be running on "Colorado" with no supervisory brakes from the regulators. "hordes of Hel"

With crude pouring into the market ad libitum, the choke hold of the opec cartel on production quota is over. Venezuela: US controlled UAE : unhinged Russia: Sanctions lifted Oil will flow freely and the price will definitely crash to below $40pb This will be a mix blessing for Nigeria though. Government revenue will plummet and budget deficit will escalate beyond current levels. Govt. Will resort to more borrowings to fund recurrent and capital expenditures. The external reserve will dwindle and the naira will see shege pro max in "losing weight" On the flip side, the cost of petroleum products will be cheaper than current rates . The wise Investors are already taking position with this news in dollar instruments. |
Why does the NBC want to be a willing tool in the hand of the government to GAG the press? Who is afraid of evidence based and statistical indices in interrogating performance or the lack of one? Why is the government suddenly afraid of being probed on all the many lofty and beautiful dividends of democracy they have delivered across the nooks and crannies of the federation? Didn't they malign and use excoriating, corrosive and unprintable words against Jonathan via these same media houses? We can all see why they confabulate and "drink water" when ambushed by international journalists like Stephen Sackur of BBC and Mehdi Hasan of aljazeera. I smell a cadaver |
The guy was only catching cruise. Which car dealer will buy a branded police armoured truck from a car thief or was he planning to go park the car in his shanty quarters ? The police driver should instead be sanctioned for leaving the truck running in this era of exorbitant fuel prices. |
This is the reward for "strategic hardwork" and not "brute force" . Educate yourself, get a specialisation and you will dine with kings. Congratulations Capt. |
If the Former COAS who hails from Borno state and has first hand knowledge of the happenings in the theater of operation can hail the NAF strike, who are we to condemn our hard working troops for bombing those bastards now tagged "innocent civilians" Most of the people killed are either working in collusion with the terrorists or are terrorists garbed in mufti to deceive the unsuspecting and gullible. The only repentant terrorist is a dead one. This one is for O.O Braimoh Bravo boys! (Willing... Able... Ready = WAR)

This is sure to have "mixed effect" on the economy as the prices of agricultural produce and consumer products would ease but it also has the deleterious effect of dissuading farmers from agricultural activities as the prices of imported palm oil, rice , and sugar will be far cheaper than the locally grown due to mechanisation and lower cost of production and energy abroad. I hope this is not a short term measure to score political goals after which we will be educated on how food and cars are more expensive in Toronto

This is so scary! I wonder what affinity snakes have with toilets? Is it that they find their way into most homes through compromised chambers or soakaway pits? |
Front page material loaded! Someone educate me on the delicacy accorded these serpentine creatures. All I see is an irritating skin covering a central vertebrae and numerous cancellous ribs traversing its length. Where's the meat?

If a Nigerian carrier can do this to her citizens, what moral justification do we have to label foreign carriers as hostile towards Nigerians? This inhumane treatment must be settled in court otherwise it will be repeated again until someone dies from his/her ordeal. |
These guys were with him everywhere he went. I'm sure his remaining team will get him the very best of any therapist out there to bring him back to 100% psychological state. That accident though man-made like any other but it also exposed our lack lustre emergency responsiveness to the whole world. Get well AJ |
Mankind2024:Get information before spewing vituperations and "market women gossips" online that only displays your hollowness. Where did you get your spurious data which shows Americans leading in the rare earth minerals?

Kobicove:That's why I said, "it is finished" |
PinkStarsFallIn:The fintechs don't have a roll over mode except you do it manually after each locked is broken which is a big temptation for someone planning to lock for half a decade ab initio. For Fairmoney lock at 23%, for 2 years, its a direct simple interest. After the lock breaks, yes, you can plough back your interest and original capital for another 2 years of Simple interest. Yearly or biannual compounding yields less compared to monthly or quarterly. |
PinkStarsFallIn:Locked funds are not compounded but grow by simple interest. Piggyvest can only give you about 20% per anuum ROI and the rates are subject to change as MPR drops. Breaking the lock before the date is penalized. Fairmoney lock will return an impressive 23% for 2 years after which you will be expected to roll over but rates remain fixed for the duration irrespective of MPR ossilation. It's difficult breaking the lock in case life throws you a curveball. Money market funds has done 20 - 25% YTD. The advantage is that it is highly liquid, with capital preservation and low risk. Flee Equities as you may end up loosing your capital. However,You may also want to await Dangote refinery IPO and invest in it while earning dividends in Dollars for the 5 years during which the value of the stocks must have greatly appreciated also. |
At 71 and 63, the duo have aged terribly. This may be due to underlying morbidity but obviously not poverty. Nothing compares to a quiet peaceful life sprinkled with "rest of mind". |
When God is about to dethrone the proud, they are suddenly puffed up by arrogance. There's ample evidence to show that these "motivational CRK speakers" and "ticket-cutting forecasters" have merchandised the gospel but their gullible fans are zero blind or deluded to see. Where in the gospel can he reference as a precursor of this sham ? How do you meet with a GOD who never left you and in whom you dwell? (For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.Col.3:3) Pride is a prelude to destruction and death. Babalawo Christianity!

DeOTR:The tax laws are just copy and paste from other jurisdictions with minor tweaks. There's a difference between Tax avoidance and tax evasion. Tax avoidance seeks legal loopholes in the tax laws to reduce or not pay taxes at all while tax evasion is an outright crime. Tax consultants are ever ready to offer their services to anyone wanting to reduce or avoid paying taxes and it is legal even in the USA, UK etc

CorperKola:"You are comparing promotion in order to become coas and promotion in order to become head of state and C in C to promotion of an adc and justifying the latter with the former" Who is taking about promotion to C-in-C. Incase you don't know history, do yourself some decency and finish the assignment I gave you. Yar'adua was promoted from a Lt. colonel past his course mates and seniors who were quite a score, skipping colonel to brigadier and made the number 2 man to General Obasanjo. His mates did not have seizures and neither did they retire from service. He even became senior to TY Danjuma by virtue of his appointment. If heaven did not fall then, it can never fall again. You guys seem oblivious of the power vested in the president as commander in chief of the armed forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria. |
As a student in Ibadan in the mid 90s, I can recall with nostalgia how this soap literally obliterated the imperial leather, joy soap and lux to oblivion during its heydays. Never knew the story behind the demise of the popular brand back then until this very educative thread. Why does unionism of workers often times lead to the demise of thriving businesses in Nigeria instead of championing workers rights ? A business is supposed to have a symbiotic relationship with its workers but in this case of S.T, the workers became Saprophytes by action. Dangote had to take draconian measures to pull back his refinery from the precipice before normalcy could return to the business which is now majorly run by Indians despite the huge resources spent on training its former Nigerian engineering workforce. |
Kai! What is this nonsense? |
I will advise this man to thread with caution and stop all these press releases. He seem to be playing to the gallery while his ministry crumbles around him. There are exciting days ahead as God unmasks the wolves in christaindom |
This is a big pot calling a kettle black |
I don't understand! But they kill Palestinian Christians without repercussions. |
