The children's visas will be refused unless you have sole custody and sole responsibility for them. Please note consent letter from your spouse will not suffice .

Hi guys, the ECO was concerned about the POF and requested that the MA (coming on tier 4) should supply what's the person has been doing since graduation in 2018. The issue is the MA, went for NYSC, and later got admission for an MSc but with covid and later ASUU strike, the programme has been prolonged. The sponsor works in the UK and sent in the money that was used for POF. The question is, how should this proof be provided?

How do you know the ECO was concerned about the POF? Asking for what the person has been doing is normal as the ECO just wants more info regarding study gap. There is nothing like ECO being concerned about POF

You can't add your niece as your dependent unless you want to claim you are the parent. There is no other way around it. UKVI don't accept adoption from Nigeria due to obvious reasons. Unless you can prove she is your child, nothing else will work.

You can adopt her and make all relevant documents valid. I read somewhere that adoption rules have been cancelled for some countries. Your PoF must also cover herself and other dependant.

No UKVI don't accept adoption from Nigeria again. So it won't fly.

If you are going to upload the 'statement' where you have the CR and DR of the lumpsum, then be ready to explain the source of the money. If the money is indeed yours, I would advise you use your savings account. Some ECO may not apply evidential flexibility and you might not have a second chance to put things right.

Please house help a worried soul. My family and I (family of 3) did biometrics on the 19th and now, main applicant has received collection mail and brp mail. Till now, myself and my child are still in DMC. I’m worried because everyone has been getting with their family at once. Even people who got nsf have gotten their visa. I want to make a paid call tomorrow if at 12pm I haven’t moved to vac. I learnt paid mails only get automated responses. I have checked every corner of my mail, there’s no nsf at all.
I also want to ask if they see a main applicant’s dependents once they attend to his application. If yes, why haven’t they attended to mine and my child’s after seeing main applicant’s?

Worried? Your biometrics was just 4(working days) ago. I really don't think you should be worried if it's not more than 15WDs yet. That the MA has received his/her visa does not mean all of you must receive visa at the same time, these things are normal. I think you should worry less.

Info needed please. can someone who already has a CAS withdraw his admission and apply as a dependent with a spouse. The reason for withdrawal is due to rapid change in forex, which in turn increased the education budget by about 100%.

Main worries here is switching suddenly from an applicant with CAS to becoming a dependent. How possible is this move?

There is no issue, you may most likely lose your deposit though.

That rate is not stabilising any time soon. Best to use ₦1200/£

My sist wants to include a dependent right after her CAS has been issued. Her dependent is her Bf who applied for a different country but unfortunately didn’t work out. Her school did not ask for her marital status at any point, no CAS questionnaire or any document where she was asked but she stated she’s single on her CV she used for the school’s application.

No not too late if they can proof their relationship has been subsisting before now.

Yes, I can't remember how It's exactly worded though but I am certain there is a part where they ask if the statement you are using is in your name or someone else

Write the letter referencing the information in the VAF then resubmit your SOA. That's the only solution here.

As the rule changed, can’t someone use POF in their spouse’s account again?

Or it was a mistake because they mentioned a wrong amount of money in the first email with a wrong GWF number and they sent another mail asking to neglect the first email and now corrected the errors.

Maybe when your wife was filling her application form ,she said the bank statement was in her name. You may need to go over your wife's visa application form again to be sure if what you filled there. If she chose otherwise, then send your SOA again and write a cover letter referencing what you filled on your wife's visa application form.
