Abeokuta the capital of ogun state is a big slum compared to any town in Delta state. Sapele and Oghara and Ughelli alone are too much for the entire ogun state, talk more of Warri, Asaba, Ogwashi-uku and others. Seriously no place for west fine apart from lagos.

Then you can take the Ikas and agbor. The Igbos will take the Asaba, Aniocha, Oshimili.

Come to those areas and tell them they're not Igbos. Even the Governor of delta state in 2019 made the study of igbo in delta schs mandatory....
You can take the Ikas anyways. But pls do tell them to drop the igbo language and culture ok?

Face ur state n leave another man's state alone

if they so wish, they are welcome if only they wunt cz trouble

We don't need them, let them be in their biafraland.

Wait a minute, so igbos no longer know their constituencies anymore?
Let me remind all of you, Biafraland begins n ends in SE. Stop dreaming too much. Edo, Bayelsa, Delta, Rivers, Akwa-Ibom and Cross River states are SS.

From this minute please know your limit.

Don't mind these yeye youths wey dey make these useless politicians to take us for a ride..

I work with a Telecom company. I mean the biggest in Nigeria, in our map which is what we work with, there is no south south sef... Delta state and most other states in what we call south south are called south east Nigeria..

These yeye and blinded youths think everything is about forcing them to be igbos..

There are igbo speaking people in the so called south south, they are the ones I am more interested in.. Asaba is an igbo land..

He can claim Warri as he likes... Over 80% of Asaba is igbo..

Don't know why and how Hausas are able to create this divide and rule stuff very well.. Chaii

It seems some of you are ignorant, why can't you stick with your region and states and stop dreaming of another peoples regions for once. Delta this, Rivers that...Niger Delta this, South South that... if you are from Imo you are from Imo and from the Eastern region, if you're from Delta you are from Delta and Southern region. We deltans have few Urhobo speaking group in part of Benin and Bayelsa, we have few Isokos in bayelsa state, Delta state also have Benin related tribe (Oza) in Ika South LGA, Delta state. Ijaw are mainly Bayelsa but Ijaw are minority in Delta too. Same goes to most states in the federation.

Represent your state, respect and be proud of your region, don't come here and start confusing yourselves because we know ourselves and history.

gidgiddy:
The Niger-Delta is a term that British used for the area and people who fall within the River Niger tributuaries in Southern Nigeria. Bayelsa, Rivers, Abia, Imo all fall within this term. However, many people now refere to Niger-Delta as any state in southern Nigeria where neither Igbos or Yorubas are the majority. In practical terms, there is no Niger-Delta. What you have is a set of minorities who are only United by the fact that they suffer the effects of Oil exploration and exploitation

Haters n envy of SS
Wether you say the truth or not we don't care. SS remain the land of treasures in this country. All of u envious of this region should know that our wealth builds the entire nation, lagos, abuja included, salaries and jobs. So respect yourself and keep quiet.

Proudly DELTA
Proudly SS

OP. Good effort but you need a bit of lesson in history and anthropology.

The Urhobo and Isoko groups are integral part of the Edoid Nation. Branches of a common family tree. Much like the Okuns are a Yoruboid branch.

To buttress my point, the current Iyase or traditional prime minister of Benin Kingdom is Urhobo. He is the second most powerful figure after the Oba of Benin.

We need to keep highlighting what unites than divides us. Clearly, the Urhobo and Isoko attire is one of the most unique and colourful in 9ja.
Proudly Urhobo wink

somehow:
We can all see the inferiority complexed filled tribe ranting and about to destroy a thread.

How can one of the so-called major ethnic group be this paranoid and insecure?

Is it by force people align with you? why not become great first so that people then want to align or get close to you?

No one forces anyone to come close to greatness. Be great first, turn your part of the country to el dorado, and see how you will attract every other tribe to your part of the country.

Igbo people have a rethink, stop trying to claim everyone even when they are not ready to align with you.

Hausa is spoken all over the north, yet it's the Fulani that is trying to force itself on everyone. Hausa is easy going, yet they are at the man ethnic group in the north. Learn how let your attitude speak for you.

My one and only comment on this thread.

You have said my mind.

No Igbo man is forcing any lazy unproductive ethnic group in the Niger delta. When we say SS, we are referring to the Igbo speaking areas not Ibibio or Ijaw or Urhobo so stop spewing trash.

Stop dreaming of ND bro
Why are igbos just dying to be with us chai

dreams are good sha

with the glaring leadership deficit and the deification of thugs , all this is is what it is a post on a webpage

the most famous notorious names to come out of the niger delta - ibori, alams, goodluck, tompolo, dokubo

incompetent, theiveing leaders or sabotuer gang leaders

add that to a population with a rentier entitlement mentality

all the items listed require investment. no one is going to invest in a region where a mafia runs protection rackets [ nice farm you have there, it would be a shame if anything happened to it. the only people who can protect your investment are the -insert local thug branch name- ]

the so called leaders looted the region dry and invested in other locations

those who chose to invest in the region built of all things, hotels

most importantly, the only way the typical niger deltan knows how to resolve disputes is with violence. that is not an environment for growth or business.

those who could have fostered some sort of positive change have been sidelined. those in the forefront are the likes of wike, who has in less than a year turned PH into a den of marauding thugs.

anyway, what would the internet be if kids could not post their fantasies on it?

Sick hater of blessed Niger Delta.. it's so obvious you are dreaming of the most blessed region in west Africa if not in the continent
