So it won't be a biased review of my new device - Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 pro.

I'm not sure why Xiaomi put 2 speaker holes beneath the phone when only 1 works. The left side doesn't make any sound. The right side alone does.

The sound from the single right speaker is dope though. So I guess the left speaker hole is just for aesthetics.

I'll drop more comments and reviews as time goes on.

Isn't the processor and camera what differentiate most phones? No there is noticeable difference using a sd625 and sd636, it's glaring.

I use Redmi Note 4 with the same SD 625 as my Redmi 6 pro and the difference is very glaring... It all boils down to optimization baba

I can't say am upgrading from SD 625 and then jump to 636, would prefer from SD 660 upward

To me, it's only the processor and camera that differs. But am sure some gurus here will counter that.

After using Redm 6 pro, I don't know why I just prefer Chinese Version To Global Version phones

Guys, please help. I dunno what to do anymore. I ordered a phone on aliexpress using mi global store, two weeks ago. I used the DHL shipment method. Its just been one delay to another, from seller now to DHL. I dunno what to do anymore. They want to do physical examination on my parcel? Seller declared it as $41, actual price is above $200. I'm afraid I might be asked to pay custom duties. I used my savings to buy this phone(mi6x).

DHL is mad..... When my redmi 6 pro arrived on Monday, the value declared by the seller was $45, but the original price was $145 and customs did not even care to open.And I only used #300 to clear it

Its total extortion if they are charging you high for clearance; highest should be #500 max. Besides, they charge according to size not price(normally)

It's in the lagos sorting center. If you are in Lagos, you should get your package by Friday. For other states, probably by next week Tuesday

The notch over make sense especially when you are operating it in the dark.

Battery life too does not disappoint, an average user will it for a day or more

You get a little bit of that iPhone X feeling with that MIUI 10 upgraded

Saw someone complaining of 3hrs charge and I can't help but wonder.

None of the Xiaomi devices I have used has ever took up to that kinda time to charge.

Even the old RN4 did a decent job of about 2h:30mins for charging

We still dey complain about motor and friction which on the long run would damage the device, most users use their face id all the time, if this ish slides like 50 times a day, I doubt if the sliding motor will survive a year, somethings are not meant to be copied na

According to xiaomi, the slider has about 350,000 cycles beforen it can brake. So even if you slide 500 times a day(which is not possible) , that's still like 700 days ~ more than a year

I asked them at Minna P.O and they said I will have to wait for them at PH to send it back. They insisted that if at all they see the address on the order at PH as Minna address , they will send it back.

Hello bro,

My package have arrived Nigeria, infact according to 24track, it was despatched from Lagos to the delivery address on the 22nd. But the problem is that the city it was sent to is totally different from the city I used for my shopping address. I used Minna as the shipping address, but they sent it to port Harcourt instead. The zip code i used in the shipping address was correct, I rechecked .

Please has any one experienced this before? If so, please how did you solve it?
