GTB recently commissioned a building(8 storey) in Ibara, Abeokuta which they named Tayos' plaza named after one of the founder who's now late. Every new staff of GTB must go through Tayos plaza as that's where training for new staffs will take place henceforth. I just love the fact that Agbaje honoured late Tayo and that unlike others he refuse to sit such eddifice in Lagos. If all our businesses(Yoruba owned) continue like this, there will be even development across Yorubaland. This is why i pray day and night that we(Yoruba) will be able to acquire Union Bank. There's one of this their eddifice in Dugbe, Ibadan that must not rot. And shout out to Elizade C.E.O, he's got massive investment at home(Golf resort, Uni just to mention a few). That's how it should be. Even development, at least don't just sit everything in Lagos.
God bless you. Excellent point!

The Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan is currently being upgraded.

Below is what it’ll look like when completed.

Kudos to Gov Seyi Makinde.
Lovely.

The Gov should try and complete it before he leaves office.

Thank you Reno Omokri.

The other day, Ex President Jonathan stated that only the South west region has properly managed
its diversity in Nigeria.

Question - Why all the praise for South west all of a sudden?

PoliticsRe: Why Is Osogbo More Developed Than Ibadan And Abeokuta? by maxell(f): 3:52am On May 16, 2021
The great developmental strides in Oshogbo (and Osun state) are due to the wonderful work of Rauf Aregbesola.

Majority of the glorious edifice in Osogbo are built by the igbos living there. Yorubas lack the capacity for modern day development.
Please see link below.

Ex Governor Rauf Aregbesola transformed Osun state in his eight year tenure.

As you can see from the thread, Yorubas are very much capable of modern day development.

Good, but honestly speaking, ogun state should be generating more than that in igr already.

I hope Gov Abiodun can surpass the targeted amount.

@AceNavy

If the Gov laid idle and didn’t do anything, people would curse him out and call him useless. They
would say as governor, he is the chief security officer of the state.

I’m not sure how else to explain this; the military went completely overboard by shooting at
civilians. No one is disputing that, but you can’t blame the Governor for this.

The commanding officer in charge who ordered to shoot at harmless civilians should be held responsible,
not the Governor.

The governor did not ask them to do that. We should stop blaming this man.

Why must it be the military?
Why not? In Nigeria, the DSS, the Police, the Military etc. help with security. The military
should not have shot at civilians, not at all. This is not the Governor’s fault.

Please, the man is not that. Asking for military assistance to ensure peace
and order is not the same as asking them to shoot people indiscriminately.

Please stop butchering this good man’s name.
