Going strictly by the OP's thread ...most USED I'll put a general list according to their use

1 NOKIA (d nokia torch popular pass all and all nokia model and other makes)
2 TECNO (d era of android smarta*s that hijacked the naija market)
3 SAMSUNG
4 BLACKBERRY (let's still give them that credit, but truth is that it is still most used by brainwashed individs)
5 HTC, GIONEE, INFINIX etc (all the other chinko fones beat iphone in usage for truth sake pple!!! angry )

Then going by most used phones by smartphones category
1. TECNO (the androids no gree any body sleep)
2. SAMSUNG (galaxy, galaxy, and more galxies)
3. NOKIA (asha, asha and more lumia)
4. BLACKBERRY (guess it didn't move an inch up the list)
5. INFINIX

I rest my hat, sorry, my case grin
Jobs/VacanciesRe: How To Get A Good Job In Nigeria (Nairaland Helped Me Get A Job) by maxman10(m):
chess guru: Seen a lot of threads like this in the past, and been praying for a time when I will have a reason to post something like this.
I intend to use this thread to give God the glory for his faithfulness, and also stand as an evidence that it is indeed possible to have the coolest entry level job in one of the coolest multinational companies without any connection.
I started a 7 stage recruitment exercise with my coy some time in august. The information gotten on this platform was simply indispensable.
Nairaland gave me the opportunity of meeting some wonderful people that really helped in ways time will not permit me to mention. A bbm group for this recruitment was formed, and this brought us even closer smiley

So in my way of giving back to a platform that has helped me tremendously, I intend to give my own advice for folks still in the "favor" market wink

1) Attitude is everything
I learned a long time ago never to ask a failure for advice; They normally have nothing good to say. So the next time you are about to apply for that big job, and your friend who has failed 10 times comes to discourage you, give a him a good 10 mile radius and tell him you both answer different last names wink
Also, there may come a time when you start doubting yourself , when you start questioning whether you're really as good as you thought you where (I went thru such wilderness myself), change your mental attitude, it will determine the recruitment altitude you finally obtain.

2)know your problem
A problem known and fully understood is half solved. (Hehehehe well if your problem is from your village,... Then your on ya own oo grin)
But seriously though, borrowing a quote from Tzu Sun's art of war "ultimate victory is assured only when you fully understand yourself and your enemy". I have broken people with job challenges into different categories.

Application failures

People in this category don't get pass the initial application phase. There are number of different reasons for this, some of which include;
Poor cv or cover letter writing skills.
Lack of patience when filling or answering application essays.
Age limitation, etc and etc

My advice for any nysc member reading this is to start EARLY! I can't over emphasize this. I started applying for jobs 6 months to the end of my service year. Doing this gave me 6 months of trial and error to learn how to apply properly without pressure or the desperation that comes after nysc.

aptitude test drop outs

cry I sadly belonged to this class. Believe me when I say that exams are not really a true test of knowledge. Some people J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ do better in aptitude test than others I guess. If you fall into this category then you have your work cut out for you. I will suggest starting from scratch. Get your hands on all popular formats(NL can help you here). Then work work work because there is no substitute.

Interview drop outs

I discovered that while I was jonsing in my aptitude test there where certain monikas here on NL that where always getting to this stage in almost all threads I saw them in. I put these ones in this group. They scale thru the aptitude test with ease, but don't know what they do wrong in interviews.

But sadly I feel this group is much more difficult to solve than the previous category. I say this because whereas peeps with aptitude test problems can improve with constant practice, well I feel interview skills (communication, diction, natural intelligence, confidence, etc ) are not things you J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ "jack" over night but rather are things you develop over time and come to certain people naturally. Before this recruitment process, I hadn't had a single interview before, but I scaled through over 4 interview stages quite easily, stuff J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ came naturally.
assessment day drop outs

Here, its God all they way. If you can get to this stage in any recruitment process, then best know you're surrounded by the best. The only differentiating element is God and INFORMATION!! Read wide! Know the company like you've been working there for ages. Know the spirit of the company and what they stand for. And in all you do through out that day, try and let the company values or principle shine through

3) The God Factor
All I can say is what is yours is yours. Am sadly far from the most righteous person, but I could definitely see the hand of God in causing me to be one of 8 people selected from a pool of over 5000 applicants (including applicants from west africa, and from other parts of the globe).
final advice to undergraduates and serving corps members

To my corper wee!! Like I said earlier, start early. If you are J̶̲̥̅̊u̶̲̥̅̊S̤̥̈̊τ̲̣̣̥ finding out how to write a cover letter one month after service, then something is really wrong with you!

To my undergrads, DON'T RUN AWAY FROM RESPONSIBILITY!!
I can't over stress this. You have no Work experience, so during your interview, all you have to fall back on is whatever things (leadership, teamwork ,etc) you learned through school or What you volunteered for.

Finally, if you know you don't have "THE CONNECTION", or "LONG LEG" or you can't finish with a 1st class, please try to leave with a 2-1.
The labour market is bloody. Even we with 2-1's are barely seeing enough elbow room and breathing space, how much so you with a 2-2 or 3rd class with no connection?

God bless and help us all as we push to the top
That red-highlighted sentence caught my fancy grin grin grin grin

joeydozzy: Sexy should be the ish when selecting your daily wears. You can't come out looking like Mary Amaka's mom.

Every part of your body needs to be taken care of; not getting an A in clothes and an F in hair, shoes and makeup.

If you no get hot legs, PLEASE AND PLEASE STICK TO TROUSERS!!! angry angry
If you no get waist, why you dey wear lagbaja? undecided
If you get pot belly, what's with the tight fitted blouse? undecided
If you fair like tonto dike, why will you apply makeup to resemble Michael Jackson? undecided
If you black already, why buy makeup that you'll compete with midnight? undecided
If you no get assnal, why the leggings and bum short?
If you get flat foot, why wear heels and walk like Peppeye? undecided
If you get stretch mark, why the short gowns? and they'll cross the legs and.....Chimo *yuck*

PLEASE AND PLEASE, find self esteem and dress nice and SEXY!! but not slutty with body exposure
I love this your quote, but you should mean nice and lovely/attractive, not sexy (sexually attractive/appealing sexually). SEXY isn't a good thing afterall or sought after, if you know the right definition. Sexy and slutty is similar. For women, it entails exposure of body kinda, or accentuation of sensual body features (breast/boobs, behinds/back-side, thighs, crotch, u name it, or even going bra-less---oyinbo hogwash), for men it entails accentuating masculine body features (shoulders and chest, crotch, facial xpression, etc), though men's own is nt dependent on bodily features like women. All the same, 'sexy' is of the mind, cos what is 'mariamaka' for MR A might be 'sexy' for MR B.
FashionRe: What's Your Definition of Sexy by maxman10(m): 10:38pm On Dec 15, 2013
Godmother: This Rawdeal chick needs a re-education. Or you are just seeking attention tongue
The OP said sexy not slutty. You should have just dropped yours or left the thread quietly. No need to get all insultive naa. Na wa o.

Anyways my idea of sexy is a nice pair of jeans n a fitted top or a good , moderately short gown that's fitted but not body hugging. I want to leave something to the imagination. Lol
Why attack Rawdeal? You think you even defined sexy and slutty properly. "Sexy" is sexually attractive, which I believe slutty means too (to attact sexual attention & arousal) All this oyinbo hogwash of 'hot' 'sexy' that they promote in their evil entertainment industry is a form of slavery nd racism to our funny ignoramus african orientation and mentality. You mustn't dress like a ho (sexually attractive) to look good or be attractive, besides a decently dressed person can still be sexy even (if you go that way,it's of the mind nd sadly societal). Use what fits you (modestly and just decent enuf) nd is comfortable, not what is 'sexually attractive' and you'll be eternally attractive.

FashionRe: Does Wearing Necklace Makes A Man Irresponsible ? by maxman10(m): 9:09pm On Sep 22, 2013
to all NL and comment-ers on this thread I think the OP meant to be PERCEIVED or to give "FIRST IMPRESSION". So I will say directly and simply YES!

YES! Because;
A clear mind and a normal human being (both male and female) perceive it as improper, both here, and overseas (QUOTE ME)
all other factors and reasons include:
1. People are different, so we all act differently, but that doesn't mean that what's not true, isn't true. so the truth is that a majority perceive it as improper. Ask well meaning women (more of them than the men), and then ask fellow men.
2. Environments/society change people; their thought patter, attitude, and character (to an extent), and even their lifestyle. But the truth wouldn't change in the heart that seeks it. SO, ask truthful people (even those that wear it themselves will tell you), that's if they able to overcome their pride and speak truthfully
3. Upbringing and personal faith/belief might change your perception, but the truth is still there
4. You can add other truthful and meaningful reasons.

But here's the truth of the post; whatever is for a particular gender, to me reflects or exhales so much haughtiness and pride, arrogance, brazenness, brash and proud heart, a lofty heart and aloof mindset and anything that comes out straight from the kitchen of pride and arrogance that sadly enough the media industry propagates thoroughly today copied from the west-waste lands (i.e. the evil and godless aspect of the western culture)

AND then a personal touch; wearing necklace or bracelet doesn't tell anything about your pocket or bank account my dear. Even if you like waste a bucketful carat of gold on it, it's just shows your vanity and much pride
Personally;
* it does show a guy as irresponsible even though he might be responsible (but I still doubt it).
* I perceive that guy as effeminate (woman-like in thought and self esteem)
* Also to a higher degree (like amongst top government officials and officials of companies and organisations) a low man or a womanizer (who has no moral as to how many women he can have in bed
* Why adorn yourself? It's like a man (now I don't especially mean a youngman or boy, but still inclusive) rubbing face powder or pancake, or putting on a bra (an extreme case) it's so effete
