dont get that emboldened part. HND same as SSCE.. What sort of comparison is that... Has HND been downgraded so low like that... Would have been better if you say Bsc is more valued than HND

I would even advice HND first. It's just two years. Bsc for her might consume more financially as its straight four years.

I paid the whole fees last year and till date, my business registration has remained on the pending list. Sent series of mails with payments proof, but got no replies thus far. Even wrote to get refund according to their refund policy, still no response bro..

Try paying at the bank. I only make payment for name reservation online.
After that, every other process is done at the state office level. It's faster.
Talking from Experience.
Talking about been cheaper, it's not. It's more expensive now. The price stated on the site isn't real

Please don't trust anyone except God.
Majority of Married folks made the mistake of their life believing so called prophets and pastors.
By the time you try 5 of them, you would get different answers, so which would you listen to?
If you are the religious type, pray about it.
You are in the best position to know if it will work or not.
You know what you want in a marriage.
By the way, what was the reason given?

Politics / Re: “not Even UN Can Stop The NGO Bill” – Umar Buba Jibril For House Of Reps by maxti: 6:06pm On Sep 27, 2017
If this Hon. Umar Buba Jibril is not sick of ignorance, let's check his points:

...Some NGOs collected funds for North East IDPs and disappeared..... *ask him if they collected cash, was there no process, can't the bank account be traced to people, BVN. What about thousands of NGOs working*

...Churches, Mosques, Esusu, Market Women Associations not affected....... *they are registered as CSO, go verify from CAC*

1. Religious bodies and organizations are NOT NGOs....... *that is a lie*

2. Our quasi financial institutions at local levels are NOT NGOs! These organizations have existed for centuries to serve businesses and commerce of our market women and traders...... *go check their registration process*

Now NGOs(Non-Governmental Organizations) and CSOs(Civil Society Organizations) are voluntary organizations that are registered to partner Government at all levels to fill gaps wherever they exist. They are supposed to be partners in progress with the Government; ( *who said they are not* ) therefore the need for a commission to serve this purpose arises...... *A commission run by civil servants without NGO experience*

Secondly and naturally for them to carry out their activities, the NGOs and CSOs solicit for funds from all over the World and collect billions of naira on behalf of Nigerians! ..... *who are these monies used for if not Nigerians, yet they the politicians steal Nigerians money and stock pile in foreign lands*

Thirdly they recruit expatriates to help them run their activities in the country with lots of abuses etc....... *what is wrong with that as if Nigerians do not work outside. Are there no bodies that check abuses. Don't they politicians abuse Nigerians*

However, recent developments have shown that;
--- Some people registered NGOs,solicited for funds and disappeared. That happened recently in the North East..... *those NGOs belong to the politicians hence their names were not mentioned cos they know what happened*

--- Some NGOs are used to fund the activities of terrorist and insurgents! etc...... *Not only terrorist or insurgency but also political campaigns and they the legislators know the terms and conditions they uses. They also know their reactions towards those that refuse their greedy offer*

The NGOs bill therefore is primarily to set up a commission to regulate their activities and provide a platform for robust relationships between them and the government for the interests of Nigerians........ *selfish interest*

In addition it is to ensure TRANSPARENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY in the ways and manners the NGOs collect moneys and use them for Nigerians...... *what is the role of EFCC or ICPC......toothless bulldog Abi*

The NGOs bill is not new or peculiar to Nigeria. It exists in many countries particularly in the ECOWAS sub- region and all over Africa and other continents. In Europe, Israel passed theirs last year! Kenya has a similar law since 1990!
Nigeria is and should not be a banana republic where anything goes. ..... *the provisions made by those countries are they here or the parallel bodies that exist in Nigeria nko*

Finally, the way the NGOs are reacting to this wonderful and well packaged bill particularly SERAP is not only shameful but condemnable...... *he should be ashamed of himself not to listen to the voice of those that voted him to office*

The Nigerian parliament is an institution governed by rules and traditions. When a bill is for public hearing you go there and present your views like other interested Nigerians and invited cooperate bodies and government agencies for the standing committee to do justice to the bill. Period! ....... *pride*

Going on cheap propaganda and blackmail and even calling on World bodies including the United Nation to help you withdraw a bill from our National Assembly will not help you! *ignorance*

Game of Thrones Co-stars Are Engaged!

Game of Thrones lead character, Kit Harington popularly known as Jon Snow and his co-star, Rose Leslie known as Ygritte will soon be a couple after getting engaged.

Popular TV series, “Game of Thrones” co-stars, Kit Harington and Rose Leslie, who star as Jon Snow and Ygritte are reportedly engaged.
It was gathered that Harington reportedly popped the question to Leslie, who was also his love interest in the show.
The duo have reportedly been dating for 5 years, and have told friends and family that they’re engaged.
Sources who spoke to The Sun said: “They’re yet to set a date, but told friends and family last week that they’ve gotten engaged.

“Kit’s known for ages he’s wanted to marry Rose but he wanted them to get a house and settle down a bit first.”
The 2 moved in together back in January, and Harington reportedly felt that was the next step, so he popped the question.

Nairaland / General / Youths Flay Poor Outing At National Council On Niger Delta Meeting by maxti: 8:54am On Sep 19, 2017
Niger Delta Youth Governance Monitoring Group, has condemned the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs for poor outing at the National Council on Niger Delta meeting held in Akure.

The group in a statement by its Spokesman, Mr Emmanuel U. Justin in Yenagoa on Monday, flayed the disharmony between the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Usani Usani and stakeholders in the Niger Delta region.

It attributed the poor attendance to the disagreement between both parties.

The meeting was held in Akure, Ondo State from Sept. 7 to Sept. 14.

It said that it was regrettable that the minister in connivance with the Country Director of UNDP, Mr Mathew Alao opposed the participation of youth leaders who were invited to participate at the meeting.

It said that Usain deliberately excluded the youths who formed the majority in the Niger Delta region, an indication that he did not have the interest of the people he was supposed to represent in government.

The group said that the council’s inability to form the requisite quorum to enable it formulate policy direction to drive the ministry rendered the whole exercise “ a nullity and illegal’’.

“No other minister from the region, members of National Assembly, representatives of International Oil Company, or governors from the region were present at the Akure Council meeting.

“This was a far cry from the inaugural edition which held in Uyo in 2013, which had all the relevant stakeholders and now they all shunned the second edition,” it said.

The group also frowned at comments by the minister suggesting that the Niger Delta master plan developed by seasoned technocrats was at great cost and the commitment over the years had been jettisoned.

“Abandoning the Niger Delta master plan for a work plan developed by the ministry without inputs from the youths, women, other civil society organisations and the organised private sector is against the concept of continuity in governance,’’ it said.
