Considering the fact that most of our actions as humans are a reaction to external and environmental factors you'll understand that music which is food for the soul affects our lives to an extent. So what I'll say is be objective in your assessment of music you listen to. For one you don't have to accept the ideas that every music artiste projects since that is their character and if you can't do that seal your mind up. One last thing, Music is a GOOD thing. Don't be deceived. |

I believe anything given to the "church" is freely given and it is to GOD not a mortal. There is a motive in giving-whatever the reason might be so it is not up to a man to judge the next man. If you think a church is benefitting tremendously from your donations without positive and/or visible results there are other causes that could utilize your resources provided it is for the sake of the church and humanity. |
So long as anybody interested in the procedure is aware of the consequences, it's up to him. I can't undergo such a procedure cos I believe I've been created designed to adapt to any situation-whatever happened to self control in humans? If you ask me, you can live a healthy and balanced life without any additional alterations to my body. Besides I'm not a machine to be 'upgraded' or 'modified' to be any better than I already am. |
@ Gamine, Hi and how're you doing? Guess you should hang on and P.U.S.H. on. Ran across your thread a while ago and I'll be interested in helping any way I can. Need I remind you that a possible solution could be to FUSE your Rock to African Roots.[that make any sense?]. Been looking foward to this opportunity. If your're chanced hook up.[xsonerecords@yahoo.com OR maxxdjinx@yahoo.com]. We could sling a demo or two. Be blessed. |
I sense creativity and excitement as I relate with his work. A lot of respect to him and Don Jazzy. Keep it up and more of that. |
@ Ajayi. Hi. Just to let you knw that you'll make it. Takes time, hardwork and dedication/commitment. Been on same project since 2003 and must confess it's not easy-but like I always believe, SEE YOU @ THE TOP. Could help anyway I can [@ xsonerecords@yahoo.com-email]. God-speed. |
History has proved that to a large extent, leadership in the African continent[with just a few exceptions] has suffered from mis-application of principles. Every MAN who steps up to vie for any political post in Nigeria will definitely have a skeleton in his/her cupboard [my opinion]. So, who is the "right" candidate for Nigeria since it is imperative that character and morals are virtues we desire in our leaders? My candid option would be to re-constitute respect for law and order in our society. But that is an ernomous task even as I speak. |
Hi fellas. This is quite interesting and I hope my contributions will help. @ Stardom-Everything you've been told is IMPORTANT and in addition to that, you need a lot of DEDICATION and HARDWORK to excel. You should also learn how the Music/Entertainment Industry works because it takes more than making GOOD muisc to reach where you aspire to be [if I understand you well enough]. @gbengaijot+smartsoft-I must commend your keen interest and ideas about Music. To an extent, differing opinions keep confusing producers like what software/interface to use and what not to use. I wish to clearly state that what works for one producer may not/cannot work for the next man. Often been involved in debates about which is best-Loops vs Cubase, Reason for sequencing; CoolEdit vs Sound Forge for Wave Editing, Sonar vs Acid for Mixing et al. What should be UNDERSTOOD is that Softwares/Intertfaces work hand-in-hand depending on what kind of recording or production project at hand-it could be Live or just Studio sequencing as the case may be. As a producer learn what works for you AND also experiment with other softwares-don't lock yourself into one dimension when you can exploit other options. Finally, I realized over time that Plug-ins and Samples other than the conventional also go a long way in setting you apart from the pack. Hope to hear from y'all. |
Basket Mouth, I-Go-Die, Nkem Owoh, Eddie Griffin, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler. |
A lot more is happening than we see so I guess we search beneath the surface for answers. Question. "Who stands to GAIN if and when this 'crisis' is resolved? Are we going to have Saviours or Sinners amongst our leaders?" That is the right question. |
This is a really interesting one. To stsrt off I want to affirm that the visionary idea and the best processes can and should be a pre-requisite. However, money cannot be disregarded since a proper management of capital and human resources will justify success. Disregarding capital is like ordering a General to war without soldiers. So, my opinion is that the RIGHT structure or PROCESS should be set up parallel to the IDEA and let resources facilitate every other thing. |
In as much as we would be obliged to seek the opinion or views of those more experienced than us, the fact remains that the INDIVIDUAL is in a better position to decide who his/her life partner should be. Life is a blessing that is better imagined. My candid opinion remains that the ultimate choice should be one that gives joy and happiness. God bless. |
This is SIMPLY a waste of 'MENTAL ENERGY'. Question: Do you OFFER your Tithes & Offering to GOD or to Man? If anyone feels sad that the "Churches" are making money[so to say], that is his/her own opinion. God will not do for men what men MUST do for themselves. EFCC was set up to perform a task and I don't understand why it should even be considered on this issue. We can dodge actions, but never the consequences of such actions. |
Gives muuuuuuuuucccccccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhh JOY abi. Proud he's PROUDLY NIGERIAN. |

ShowBiz nd Entertainment in N.I.G. should get better and take a cue from the event. |
What I see here is simply is a problem of 'vertical thinking' and they didn't get far. Competition is all about creating an advantage and then, capitalizing on that advantage. What is the VISION behind this Company and where did they MISS it? Anybody knows? To the best of my knowledge, the PRIMARY aim of business is 'creating customers' and KEEPING them. However with information at the finger tips of discerning consumers, businesses have to go the extra mile. I guess they know what they're up against. The world is big enough. |
Hi fellas, it's been interesting reading your comments on the Transcorp issue. My opinion is that in every SYSTEM [just like in Nigeria] lots of things happen. You only see what 'they' want you to see and just like apuppet show a lot goes on backstage. What I UNDERSTAND is that whinning about how monopolistic Transcorp is in reality, a lot of other sectors are still AVAILABLE for development. Nigerians subscribe to what I call the 'band wagon' syndrome and whatever works for Mr. A naturally attracts everyoneto that sector or field. We are more than 120 million in this country and nobody's thought about how to harness resources in these prospective fields. Agreed that the sectors listed as primary for Transcorp holds a lot of economic gains but the question is the vision and long term prospects of the venture. Need i remind that monopoly CAN be broken. Just like a game of chess. Summary, THINK and you'll find something else BIGGER than 10 Transcorp's put together. TIME is the ONLY currency. |
