TUANKU:what exactly do you want to be done when the government for the first time is putting in place a permanent solution to farmers herders crisis. |
Adoke should do the needful by coming to tell the whole public the role he played in the Pfizer case in Kano state. Adoke is not only haunted by the shady deals he partook in as AGF but he is been haunted by the spirit of those little Kano children the were killed with a killer vaccine produced by a company he represents. He is only haunted by his past not Professor Osinbajo. |
CapitalHYC:Ambode should not be given credit on this Project. The Man didn't approve a dime for the continuation of those projects scattered all over Lagos immediately Fashola left. Ambode is nothing but a disgrace. Those flats in Igando were completed by fashola before leaving office in 2015 Ambode did nothing about them since he assumed office in 2015. Lagos HOMS was one of the most noble and transparent projects/Programme Fashola initiated but Ambode out of Hate and envy stopped it. |
*If I were Okoi Obono-Obla* By George Tari If I were Okoi Obono-Obla there were many things I would have done very differently. But Obono-Obla is his own man, a man who wanted power and a man who absolute power corrupted absolutely. Firstly, if I were Obono-Obla, I would have stuck to the mandate of my office instead of over-stepping my boundary and jumping into the jurisdiction of others. Secondly, I would have hearkened to the warnings that came my way that my office was solely designed to investigate and not prosecute. I certainly would not go about blackmailing people and threatening them with the Presidency, when in the real sense, I’m not the President. Thirdly, I wouldn’t embark on a needless media trial by co-opting Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) and others to sensationlise a case that turns out that he is digging his own grave. Fourthly, If I were Obono-Obla, I would not continue to play judge and jury especially when all the evidences are against me. I understand that he does not want to retire into his shell like a battered tortoise but he must face the music for the abuse of office. Fifthly, If I were Obono-Obla, I would not take my bribery and extortion business to foreign missions in Nigeria, it was a disgrace and a stain on Nigeria and Nigerians. Sixthly, If I were Obono-Obla I would not have beaten Mrs Nkeiru Okpalanozie Negwa, a pregnant woman who was accused by his Panel of receiving bribe as an electoral officer, in the February 2019 elections, in order to manipulate results. She was arrested on 7 June 2019 and severely beaten to the extent she began to bleed. She was rushed to DEDA Hospital Jabi on 8 June 2019 by the operatives of the Panel, where she received treatment. Seventhly, If I were Obono-Obla, I definitely would have meddled in election matters because it had nothing to do with Special Presidential Investigation Panel on the Recovery of Public Property. If I were Obono-Obla, I would not have received donations on behalf of the Panel without declaring such donations to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation or retiring same. If I were Obono-Obla, I would not have involved myself massive corruption, nepotism and violation of financial regulations. If I were Obono-Obla, I would not have hired Mr.Nnadi Ifebi, a friend, who is not a member of the Panel to sign correspondences as my Chief of Staff and send out invitations to victims usually to extort money from them in the process. If I were Obono-Obla, I would have respected the ruling of the Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal that spelt out my mandate and stressed that, “the Panel only act on a written mandate received from the Presidency, and will seek authorization from the Presidency to undertake fresh mandates in accordance with extant laws of the Federation.” If I were Obono-Obla, I would have halted my nefarious act when complaints against my work were flying left, right and center, and also, when I noticed that President Muhammadu Buhari has been inundated with complaints of all sorts. But what did Obono-Obla sought to do? He sought to bite the finger that fed him. I will advise that he shuts up and face his case, the more he talks, the more he buries himself. A word is enough for the wise. Take a cue from Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita. By George Tari, President of Coalition of Nigerian Youths for Good Governance, CNYGG

Meet Prof. YEMI OSINBAJO, a man driven by Passion, Honesty, Integrity and commitment to the masses Ever since 1992 gave us a good idea of what true leadership and politicking was, I have never met a leader more committed to the entity Nigeria than Professor Yemi Osinbajo (PYO), a man with so much commitment, dedication, Confidence, Passion and such a good Communicator he almost rivals Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola (MKO) and Lt. Col. Odumegwu-Ojukwu. Professor Yemi Osinabjo is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, a Professor of Law and the current Vice President of Nigeria since 29 May 2015. As vice president, his roles and constitutional powers include; participation in all cabinet meetings and, by statute, vice chairmanship of the National Security Council, the National Defence Council, Federal Executive Council, and the Chairman of National Economic Council. Although the vice president may take an active role in establishing policies in the Executive Branch by serving on such committees and councils, the relative power of the Nigerian vice president's office depends much upon the duties delegated by the president. With the above limited executive functions accorded a vice president of Nigeria, Osinbajo has established policies that are more masses oriented and beneficial to the general public. Unlike past vice presidents, Prof. Osinbajo has won the trust of the President and the masses alike with his integrity and passion for a better nation. Osinbajo's poverty and hunger fighting policy (NSIPs) have earned him accolades from far and near including President Muhammadu Buhari, who on the 8th march, 2019, described Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as a “very dependable deputy” with whom he had established a special bond. The president further said that professor Osinbajo has in the past four years diligently championed the values of setting the foundation for peace, progress, and stability of Nigeria, by working very hard to build a resilient economy while promoting transparency and accountability. Prof. Osinbajo has shown he is not only a VP for Christians, APC or Yoruba's alone but also, a VP for all religions, political parties, tribes and all geo-political zones in Nigeria. When you think he is most popular in the south south, a video of him visiting States in the south east will appear, then the argument immediately becomes that he is more popular in that region. In the north and south west, it's the same level of euphoria. This earned the VP respect of all past governors of the last administration, given that, he is the chairman of the National Economic Council, NEC. The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed (a PDP governor), noted that, Chairman (VP Osinbajo) led a strong team through various areas requiring attention in the economy. He made robust efforts in security giving direction, confidence and comfort. In the same vein, the Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima, said "Osinbajo provided leadership and in the past 4 years, exhibited humility, giving everyone a sense of belonging." The 36 governors said the vice president treated everybody equally regardless of their political parties. Professor Osinbajo has been nicknamed the Star Boy by the public especially by those on social media yet his popularity has not come without its negative sides. Some people have sponsored lots of hate and false news campaigns against a man committed to fighting poverty and hunger in Nigeria with his National Social Investment Programmes (NSIPs). Ask me or any other non-partisan Nigerian of a hardworking and committed political leader and we would all point to Professor Yemi Osinbajo. It gives me great joy that he is a Nigerian and one that has stood out in all his ways. Oladele Peter, a psychologist and social commentator

the funny thing about this post is that the said poster never gave a source to News, He never gave the event nor the circumstance in which the Vice President gave such remark. The Funniest thing about the news is that the source it emanates from the the official blog News site of IPOB with the address https://silverpres.com This here by certifies that this News Is FAKE FAKE NEWS! FAKE NEWS!! FAKE NEWS!!!

FAKE NEWS ALERT: THE VICE PRESIDENT NEVER MADE ANY DEROGATORY COMMENTS AGAINST IPOB AND THE FULANI HERDSMEN CLASHES VP Osinbajo has never made any statement threatening that IPOB must be “crushed by fire by thunder.” It is not even in the character of the VP to make such statement or the manner in which it was said. The alleged statement is all lies. The Vice President has always called on all Nigerians to unite and build this country. Osinbajo is concerned about the security of lives of all Nigerians, and ensuring that security agencies protect all Nigerians. Nigerians, please ignore the fake news mongers and lie merchants! Below are ACTUAL statements from the VP on these issues. ON IPOB “In all our previous engagements with Northern and South-Eastern leaders, we all came to the consensus that Nigeria is stronger and better together.” - VP Prof. Osinbajo ON FULANI HERDSMEN KILLINGS: “We must condemn killings of any kind. It doesn’t matter whether these killings are by herdsmen killing villagers, or whether it is villagers who in one way or the other have killed others, including herdsmen. I think it is important that we condemn these killings. There is no reason at all why anyone who commits these offences will escape.” – VP Osinbajo https://www.nairaland.com/5134043/hypocrisy-vice-president-prof-osibanjo

Chief Ayo Adebanjo is one of the problem facing the Nigerian Nation and the Yoruba race in particular. We are witnesses on how he and the likes of Yinka Odumakin milked and buttlicked the Treasury and Goodluck Jonathan respectively under the guise of the Pan-Yoruba Organization "Afenifere". Chief Ayo Adebanjo should rather consider the fact that he has a Glass House to return to before picking up a stone to throw. At this stage of his life he should rather stay closer to his creator than judgemental on Personality of Prof Yemi Osinbajo. He should rather consider the fact that his sojourn to the 6ft territory is getting closer |
One thing about the PDP is that they have No shame at all what so ever. PDP is a party without conscience. And every lover of truth so rather ignore them. All am concerned about is the truth that has finally prevailed. |
The market women who are the true beneficiary of this scheme would never forget this government in a hurry. I av seen people who have benefited from this scheme and their love for this administration can't be quantified. |
