Then a frequent visit will be questionable. Once a year is not bad

She technically hasn't but if you becomes too frequent she can be denied entry and sent back . I am talking from personal experience as my mum was almost sent back. The luck I had was that they called first as they were denying entry and I was able to convince them to allow with conditions .
Thanks for your response

Good evening beautiful people, please I have a question. I apply for a say 5 year visitor visa for my mum.

I want to understand how it really works. The maximum stay of a visitors visa is 6 months. If for example she stays for 5 months and goes back to Nigeria and then she comes back after 1 month and then stays 5 months, has she violated any visa rules?

What is the best way to maximise the use of this visa.

Thanks in advance.

Go through the process and select an option relating the your need.

And this is for contacting them from outside the UK https://ukvi.mysecurepay.co.uk/
Thanks for your response. This is actually the contact link I have been using, inside the UK though, and for my category, it always ends the call with computer generated responses. I have contacted my MP as was suggested here. I hope to get some progress out of it.

You need to use the paid service to speak to someone or use the paid email service and you can email as many times as you want until the issue is resolved. You will only pay once
Thank you for your response justwise. How can I access this paid service please? I haven't seen any links to it anywhere.

Every stay is for a max 6 months irrespective of how long the visitor visa is given for (2, 3, 5, 10 years). Before the end of each six months, she must leave the UK and re-enter again, except Home Office has granted the concession. Withdrawal only make the status quo worse.
So sad, you've penned Mum down as an overstayer. Hope, she can still come back in future.
Beware of street corner advice. Most goes against the law of the land, irrespective of how some have been able to beat the system!

Well, for now, as you've been advised, get her a Travel document to travel back ASAP. When back in 9ja, start the return process, obviously revalidation the visa.
Alternatively, get an immigration lawyer to petition her continuing stay on medical ground. Good luck with that though.
PS: this is not a binding legal advice as contemplated in law
This wasn't beating the system, it was going through the right channels. Thanks for the advice all the same.

As she's been classed as an overstayer, I doubt if her passport will be returned.

She will need to book a one way ticket to her final destination and forward the ticket details to a particular home office email address or cl a particular number. She will be instructed to meet some home office officials at the airport of her departure and her passport will be handed over to her.

This I believe is the process unless things have changed.

That said, she has 14 days from the day of cancellation before she's officially classified an overstayer.
This should be voluntary return. I actually called them but since her leave to enter is still till December, they redirected me to call the regular contact with computer responses.

Hello house, I hope we are all good.
I am in a dicey situation and need some input from those who have more knowledge and information than I do.
I applied for a two year visitor visa for my mum that will expire December this year. She came in December 2021. While here, she was taking treatment at the General hospital as a private patient. In June 2022 when her six month visit was almost complete, I applied for extension of stay through the FLR/HRO route so she could complete her treatment. She did biometrics in London and her passport was held back at the biometric center. Since then, no decision has been made and the passport hasn't been returned.
In December 2022, I cancelled the application on gov.uk and according to the information there, I would get the passport in 10 working days. Its over the 10 days and I have even filled the online complaint form twice, still no response. I can't get through as the contact number is for general inquiries and only get computer responses.
When I was cancelling the application, they stated that she becomes an overstayer from the date of cancellation but they haven't returned her passport still. What can I do?

Thanks in advance.

I personally don't think it matters. You should be able to prove that they are one and same person. If you have a marriage certificate, I believe that you should be covered.

Good Morning Mommas, I don't know if this is normal or not.
I have been feeling drops of liquid in my undies since yesterday afternoon till now and whenever I wipe, I comes with tiny particles like discharge. But the color of the discharge is light green or lemon. The liquid sometimes trickle down my thigh and am also feeling a lot of pressure on my bladder that I can't even hold pee for minute.

Should I be worried? We are 40+4 days already.
I am glad that other mamas responded sharply to your question. I hope you went to the hospital and you are being taken care of.

truly no two pregnancies are the same...apologies to my fellow September mamas that I didn't come to announce my BA, she came on the 1st of October through Elective CS...since then I have been in pains, it was never like this with my first child..

what am really suffering now is severe nipple pain, cracked nipple, bleeding nipple...

Mamas I beg in the name of God, who has a solution for me,because once my baby is awake am scared to breast feed.

Above all I thank God for seeing me through this CS, it can only be Him.
Congratulations teamie. I have been awaiting your birth alert. For the nipple pain, I experienced it soon after I gave birth as I did with my first but not to the point of bleeding though. I applied lansinoh nipple cream but can't say I got any relief. As with my first, I kept putting my baby to breast. With time, the pain will gradually reduce and the nipple eventually heal. Pele it will pass soon enough. Other mamas will chook mouth with what worked for them. Congratulations once again

Hello mum, I'm a new mother and first time mom. I delivered through CS on 10/09 and since then my breast has not been producing milk. I'm so worried mum. Though I've been taking Antibiotics since but I've stopped yesterday. Also I've been on pap since but the milk has not been coming out.
Please I need advice on what to do I'm worried
Like I said in my comment above, you need not be worried. Being worried alone is enough to affect your milk production. Even when no milk is coming out still put your baby to suck and ensure proper latching. You can watch youtube videos on that. Eventually it will flow. Relax. One love mama

FairyGodmother:
Please help a FTM! I had my baby yesterday around 12:07pm. I have not been able to breastfeed her. Dunno if it's because I am not lactating or baby's not latching on well. I have watched countless breastfeeding videos but no change yet. What can I do? Secondly, my baby is yet to open her eyes. When will she open her eyes? Thank you
Dear teamie, don't panic. Continue putting your baby to breast and relax, your breastmilk will definitely flow. Mine didn't flow till the second day for my daughter. If you feel the baby may be hungry please feed with formular using spoon and cup and continue putting your baby to breast. Don't panic or stress about it cos stress will make your milk not to flow well. You need to relax. On baby opening eyes, I really have no idea. You have got this teamie
