I welcomed my Platinum princess on the 26th of August through ECS. So sorry this is coming late. Mama is suffering from headache due to spinal anaesthesia. Mama that has gone through this pls shook mouth and help a mum on what to do.

Hello mama, I don't think fontanelle has anything to do with baby crying at night. Some babies have varying degrees of colic which makes them uncomfortable, hence the crying. The fontanelle usually closes up on its own within 18 months or so. Just try as much as possible to comfort your baby. If you notice he squeezes himself, it may be his tommy and you can try burping regularly after feeding and the bicycle exercises for tommy for babies. If you still feel worried, take the baby to the hospital for correct assessment. Big hugs mama. You are doing great.

Cappo I'm taking it a day at a time now. I think this is the hardest part of the journey for me. The night vigil and the waist and back pain continues.
My doctor was not ok with the baby's weight shown from the scan I took last week so I've been referred to a diagnostic centre for another scan. According to him I've been measuring bigger at each antenatal appointment. My bump is quite big and I look like I'm going to pop soon even.
Hopefully the sonographer was wrong? Is it normal to have a big bump with a small baby? I hope all is well.

Awwww it is well teamie. Just try to be positive o jare. I fear for my measurement at my next appointment but I can't kee myself na. I really can't explain but walking helps a lot with waist and back pain for me. The problem is pushing myself to go for the walks. I also have a gym ball that I sit on and roll my waist, it helps too. I have heard of mamas expecting big babies due to scan and end up with small babies but everybody isn't the same. Important thing is try not to worry too much. We will birth our young ones safely and celebrate in Jesus name amen.

FairyGodmother that your upate was so sweet and detailed, God will make it easy for us amen. temmytayur and Nemzy on the contrary ehn na now the sleep dey sweet me but I still have to get up early and prepare for work , Rosebell and cinderellashoes nice work on your bags being packed and ready to go. I would prefer a leggings and top for going home just cos I know that I will still be bleeding and a leggings bottom would be more confortable for me. It shouldn't be a long ride home na. Hi teamie, a trace of protein in urine isn't good to hear but doesn't mean its so serious to worry about and stress yourself. Its part of the signs that you may be worrying or over-stressing yourself somehow and that is how your body is telling you to take it slow. I know this period can be filled with a lot of anxiety on the coming of your baby but you have to relax. Think positively and be happy always. Drink plenty of water and eat more fruits and vegetables as you can. Go for walks at least 30 minutes daily and I can assure you that you will be fine.
Just look!!! One more week and your baby will be considered fully baked and can come anytime Amazing feeling. Our God that brought you this far will see you to the very end. I await your birth alert teamie. Not very long now. My six weeks looks like forever but I'm still happy that our month is next.

Hello teamie, sorry about the pains. Maybe your doctor will prescribe some solution for you. You can google you tube videos on how to get a baby turn head down... there are quite a lot of them to learn from. You could also get some exercises and sitting positions to help with the pains. I intend trying some of those exercises myself. The journey ahead is not so far anymore. We will all celebrate in Jesus name amen.

Hello mamas, hello cappo I've been fine. Work matter no let me see road.
Did a scan over the weekend. Gender is XX. I was was told my lo has turned and is now head down but posterior. Should I be worried? Are there any recommendations on things I can do to help her turn to the normal position?
I've been having serious back and waist pain. Sometimes I can barely move. Although I have an appointment this Thursday with my oby/gyn I'd be glad if someone can provide tips on how to reduce this pain.

Hi mama, two days ago I thought I was in labor so I was scared, but it turned out to be round ligament pain then the pain in my buttocks increased and I was in pain for two days. But I feel better now and I watched lots of YouTube videos on water breaking, etc. It helped me to feel better and also understand what was going on with my body.

As for the baby clothes, they look so tiny to me too but my mom says they are the perfect size for newborn.

Stop the worrying cos it won't help. cinderellashoes may be able to give you tips that worked for her. I cannot overemphasize vegetables in your diet, they help a lot. It will end in praise teamie.

I'm doing fine generaly, except for the constipation.

Also I thought I had gotten a hang of this 'left side' sleeping but for about 2 weeks now it seems like I can't control my sleeping position. I wake up laying on my back almost every day and I feel this ache on my back indicating that I've been on my back for a while, the thing has been bothering me and I don't know what to do, pillows aren't helping.

Lovely Sunday from this side to all our mamas... Congratulations to all who have birthed their LOs. Is it me or this July is moving like slow motion pictures . My September mamas how una dey. I am sure we are preparing in earnest to welcome our loved ones in about 8 -9 weeks or even less ... I finally started my shopping this weekend and it wasn't fun at all. I was tired of walking round and it was a whole days affair... very tiring. Dear husband was with me though so it took a lot of stress off me. The guy just wants me to buy anything he sees first but me I have to see different options and select the one that sweet my belle na . Enough of my chatter. I trust we are all doing well as regards eating, taking our drugs and routine exercise. Dr google recommends 30 minutes walk daily for exercise so let us indulge ourselves biko. Drink enough water daily and try adding more fruits and veggies to your diet. Keep up the good cheer as we are gradually reaching the finish line. I love to hear from my teamies so please answer roll call and give me better belle gist and tips that are working for you so we can learn.

With so much tears in my eyes Am out of the race mummies, I was booked 4 cs on monday but sunday morning i wasnt hearing my baby movement, he Wasn't playing with me, so i ran to the hospital doctor wasnt on ground, d nurse checked heartbeart and said baby is fine I guess she didnt want me 2 panick, but i was not convinced i went round the town no were to do scan because it was on a sunday morning.
.
fast toward to Monday I left home as early as 7am with my mother in law because DH wasn't around, so I did d scan and d radiologist said I should go give my doctor the result,
.
when doctor saw d report he just told me DAT instant that baby was dead, I almost collapsed. my bp rose to 160/110
.
they placed me on injections and bed rest till Tuesday morning to bring baby out. I felt pain throughout that night so Tuesday morning we were waiting for doctors to do cs, but he came some minutes past 9am as against his usual 8/8;30 timing.
.
marathon prayers were held here and there for me,
i didnt know d stomach pains was labor so when nurse check me she say am in labour (4cm) before the team of doctors came ,and checked again, my bp also reduced so they said no cs again that I'll give birth myself.
.
that was how the journey of excruciating pain started from 9 am till 4pm before main show started, I saw hell the doctors and Master Jesus took charge and baby was forced out at 4;20pm
.
help ME thank Master Jesus for saving me despite prophesies I came out alive but without my son.
.
my problem now is my breast its as strong as stone I couldn't sleep throughout d night.
.

To the glory of God, I had my bouncing baby boy with a minor tear on 18th July 2020 at exactly 8:12pm after passing all EDDs (23rd June,3rd July,6th July,11th July and 13th July)

Greetings everyone...
Please can hemorrhoids just shook out on its own. I can guess mine is not a case of constipation cos I have regular & soft bowel movements. Woke up yesterday morning with pain in the a.n.u.s and felt a protrusion. Tried pushing it in, the thing no gree enter. I went to hospital this morning and was given anusol but I haven't gotten any relieve. In fact it's as if the pain increased. Please mamas that have had hemorrhoids how did you handle it for fast relief. I can't walk properly again but can sit comfortably.

Sorry teamie about the hemorrhoids. I read its pregnancy induced and will resolve on its own after pregnancy. I hear anusol works well for it...maybe the drug just hasn't started working yet
