I don't know if you have any teammates here yet but just relax and read back if you can. You can gain a lot from the discussions. You are also welcome to ask questions bothering you and sabi mamas can respond based on their experience. Note that we are not doctors oooo and can't take their place. It is always best to work with your doctor in whatever situation. Happy and healthy bumping to you |

Orekegold: Birth story and Testimony:
God is indeed faithful!! I was diagnosed of pcos after 3 miscarriages and later I was TTC for about 2years. One day my friend read a testimony about someone with exactly my case on Instagram. I contacted her and she prescribed the drug and other things she used to get pregnant and at 1st trial I got pregnant.#Oluwaseun now anxiety to make the pregnancy stays sets in fast forward God sent me a doctor and I was only placed on primolut progesterone and I have an amazing smooth journey.
Fast forward to 37weeks scan say my baby is 3.4kg naso I started panicking oh..I stopped eating oh ..because I was scared of the way people talk about stitches.
This my story is getting boring oh..anyways on friday at exactly week 40 I was so over the pregnancy that I started crying in the night rubbing my bump, talking to my baby to please come. After those tears I drank water and went to bed that was how baby started kicking seriously and I was awake till 4am due to kicks without pains oh.. fast forward to 7:30am On Saturday i started feeling contractions ..went to toilet around 9:30am to pee naso I see blood show o.. I called my husband that it's time oga said ...Time keh and you are here brushing teeth he thought it was supposed to start with drama( too much movie) .. anyways we got to hospital and I was 3cm dilated after 3hours still same thing ..that was when they pass drip oh... The pain increased but i discovered my pain tolerance is 90% that day .. instead of drama I was just on that bed praying and drinking glucose water it helps ... no loud screams at all ... I practice the breathing techniques and it helped ...after few hours I was fully dilated.
Oya time to push ..lord Jesus anyways it ended in praises My princess came out weighing 2.8kg on 11th jan 2020 ..so cute and fresh ( mama watermelon is your friend oh) .and I got stitches that has to be my biggest fear ever.. it's an amazing journey. Rejoice with me mothers. He is a faithful God...sorry for long post oh....
please how do i care for my jajaina with stitches...some say I should sit on warm water some say hot some say none ..i tire o.
Joyfulmama BS submitted. My God delivery the rest safely.....signing out with love ..... Congratulations and God bless your new born. You should use warm water for your sitz bath and not hot. |

cococandy: This is what it looks like when done. Those lines/creases on the surfaces helps you know that you got your crust texture right.
Enjoy with your favorite cola or malt drink. This is the closest to Malta Guinness (my favorite) that I could find here. Thank you for your recipe cococandy. Here is my first attempt at baking meat pie. It came out really tasty

Aphrodite007: Aw my dear, the fact that you even got to interview level says that you have a powerful CV, that’s really good, so please be proud of yourself.
It’s two reasons that you don’t go past that level: 1) someone else is probably better (2) your confidence/composure/communication level or answers are not so great- which is a good thing because this can be fixed, but the former cannot!
See, when you go to interviews, act like you own the world. Act like you’re doing them a favour to be in your presence, because guess what? You are. The reason you got to interview level is because you’re hot cake, so relish in that.
What I’ve learned in this country is that they despise humility, they like confident people. So act confident. Even if you don’t know the answer, make it up. Sit relaxed and look them in the eyes when you speak. Smile and make small jokes.
Accounting and banking are great fields to get into. They are money mines but you need to be patient and be ready to earn little then shine from there. When I came here I started from 21k, now I can’t even mention what I earn after just 2 years. The best way to start is small, that way you’ll build confidence in yourself because you’ll start learning to sell yourself well and ace-ing interviews.
My advice: go to YouTube and watch how to become and accountant or banker in UK and apply the advice. You’ll hear what you need to know or learn, then study those skills. But get ready to start from the bottom- I promise you, it will pay off.
I really hope this helps, pls keep me posted. I’m always excited to hear about people winning. This got me mush mush. Thank you for the boost of confidence. I know that's what I need to work on a lot. I appreciate your input. |

fatima04: In addition to all the advise provided, make sure your LinkedIn profile is very attractive and contains the buzz word for accounting professionals and also enable the job search option for recruiters to find you.
Go on your local council website to search for some trainee jobs. Also, lots of construction companies recruit account assistant et al. Check banks website as well to apply for some customer service roles if you haven't done this already.
Also enable google search for accounting jobs near me, it will send you regular updates. Thanks a lot. I appreciate |

Rubyventures: What little experience have you got in Accounting? What accounting softwares are you competent in even if its just basic? What about your excel level? I used quickbooks briefly while I worked at the finance company and I found it relatively easy in carrying out my responsibilities then. I need to use it more often to gain a total understanding of how it works fully. I have an average knowledge in excel too and can improve if I am to use it on a regular basis for reporting and analysis at work. Thank you |

LagosismyHome: That you were able to get interview is a good sign that your Cv is at least acceptable. What your need to try is work on your delivery and how you sell yourself . ...because even if you change job sector , it still key that you sell yourself well to get into the door Thanks for your input. I will work more on my ability to sell myself and improve my confidence. It is an area I know I am deficient in. |

This thread is really a wealth of information and I have benefited significantly from the advice here, thanks to selfless people here who take out time to respond and help in any way they can. I need help beautiful people. I have been in the UK for almost 6 months now and I have been trying to get a job without success. Initially I wanted a job in accounting field which I studied in school but at this point, I just want to earn income and create value. I have three years of banking operations and very little accounting experience as I barely worked 3 months in a finance company back in Nigeria. I have attended several interviews too but always get the regret mail which honestly speaking is really depressing. What kind of jobs can you recommend that l look for now and where or how do I apply. I don't want to remain idle in this last month of the year please. I am on a tier 2 dependent visa.
Aphrodite007 Lexusgs430 fatima04 justwise and every other person. Thanks in advance. |

sgtponzihater1: God bless. Thanks for the encouragement. I will work on these So sorry you had to go through all of this. I feel this issue can be worked out if you both are willing and if there is any love between you both. A pregnant woman is a whole storm of emotions and some actually go through hell while pregnant. I know a friend of mine who had such issues. She couldn't stand his smell and cooking made her feel nauseated. He had to take a bath when he came back from work and change clothes frequently. Perfume was even out of the whole equation. I don't know why I feel that taking out the trash is a man's job - probably because of all the white movies I have watched . I want to believe there was a time she felt like heaven to you. Look back on those times and draw strength from it. My advice for you is to have a heart to heart conversation with her. If possible both of you should give a breakdown of how your income goes down. Maybe God will touch her heart and she will see reason. Air your thoughts to her just as you have on this thread, your grievances too. She needs to know exactly how you feel. If she is level headed I am sure you both can work out a compromise. All this should be done after she has given birth because for now she may not be reasoning rationally. May God preserve your sanity and your home. Cheers |

The fact that he farts is relieving. As long as he isn't showing signs of discomfort and is lively, he will be fine. Just continue to eat enough fruits and vegetables and feed on demand. ImaIma1: Marriage is not for selfish people. A woman that cannot forget about herself and put her husband first should not waste her time and emotions. I don't think a woman should forget herself just cos she wants to please her husband though. There should be a way to balance things and everyone will be happier for it. |

On Tyler Perry's Acrimony, I felt really bad for the lady. She sacrificed so much and got practically nothing in return. Granted her family was against the marriage, she went ahead and married for love. She also went ahead to maintain the home for 18 good years. If the man really loved her as he claimed, he would have remembered her and all their dreams together not going ahead to have same dreams with this other woman. They both were imperfect beings at one point or the other but then no one is perfect. Communication is key in any relationship. I'm sure that if the man had mentioned his meeting with the other woman, she wouldn't have jumped to the wrong conclusion about his cheating on her a second time. Family is and will always be important besides they were trying ro help in their own little way. It's such a sad story though. May we never sow for someone else to reap in Jesus name amen. |
