Weigh what you loose & weigh what it requires to find it... if it does not worth it... abandon such & continue with your life cos I believe God will reward you..... from your story you have spent a lot & still yielded zero results. Summarily speaking & lesson of the day; The money you loose is a bad money cos you may or may not get it back & the money in your hand is a good money cos it is not stolen.. still yours. So , mostly throwing good money after bad money so as to seek or recover the bad money mostly puts one in a colossal loss.
