Kobojunkie: 1. Don't tell me what to believe. Show me the evidence of your claim. Show me exactly where in Philo's work, your claim comes from. I can spend time reading the entire work and not see what you claim to see at all. So, you are best showing me exactly what aspect of his work you have concluded was plagiarized by John in this.
2. My faith is not in John but in Jesus Christ, sorry. I am simply asking you here to provide clear evidence for the claims you continue to make so we can all learn from this. Why is this hard for you? Or are you simply spouting that which you have heard from others but never actually investigated for yourself in this? When was “jesus christ” your savior created? What a shame!

Kobojunkie: 1. Jesus Christ is the Word out of God's Mouth i.e. God's Truth. That is what He told you in John 14 vs 6, and pretty much all of the Gospels. It seems it was Irenaeus that named the book you are calling “gospel of john”. These are the books you depend your WHOLE LIFE on, what a shame

Kobojunkie: You mean John plagiarized the entire work of Philo in that one line " In the beginning was the Word"?
Surely, you can point us directly to the part of Philo's work you believe was plagiarized, right? Who told you “john” wrote any book? Is it early Church fathers?

That is why you read at the beginning " according to" Did i quote you? calm yourself. |

Kobojunkie: Interesting accusation you make against John, the author of that Gospel. Care to provide a reference to exactly what it was that Philos said, that John supposedly plagiarized? Where did you read that “john” was the author of any book? Bwahahahah. Provide a reference too. It was the Christian fathers that gave authors to the books in the New Testament. |

Kobojunkie: AntiChristianSo what aspects of the teachings and commandments included in what are the Gospels additions that weren't witnessed by the disciples? Care to give us an idea of at least a few of them?
Balerion, if the Injeel was revealed to Jesus and was then lost because Jesus Christ didn't write it down, and as a result, the teachings were lost to all, why is the mention in Mohammed's writings? All the books talking about your saviour are written by anonymous and church fathers. Even your trinity is a concept created by tertulian.

Christianity Etc › Re: When Did Allah Say The Bible Was Corrupted And How? by Maynman: 4:56pm On Aug 11, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: Whoever wrote the Gospel of Jesus according to Barnabas is unknown. What is however clear from reading it is that what seems the original writings have been thoroughly corrupted to make it seem as though Jesus Christ not only endorsed Mohammed but that Mohammed was even in the garden of Eden with Adam and Eve from the beginning. The earliest and original New Testament bible is sinaiticus and it’s the most heavily corrected manuscript in HISTORY. The VERSION of the book you are reading has also been heavily corrupted, forged and interpolated. Jokes on you, Chrestian.

Collection of book is NOT commonly known as bible. Bible literally means books or collection of books. And Old Testament that you are reading is not from Septuagint but from MASOTERIC TEXT.

If you change the cover of Harry Potter or Adam Smith to Holy Bible I will not buy it because that would not be the Holy Bible I set out to buy.
It would in fact be like going to the market for a Merc and coming home with a box with Merc written on it, which would be a very stupid and ignorant thing to do. Noise, keep TALKING, bud. How desperate can you go

budaatum: Some clearly have decided to add Holy to the title of the book, may.
This is true. I can definitely go to like Bolade Market and buy any book that someone has decided to stick Holy Bible on the cover, but I'm sure you'd expect me to look inside the book to ensure what's in the holy Bible that I buy is the Holy Bible that I expect to find there.
I mean. Imagine if the designer of the book in the factory wrote Holy Bible on a Harry Potter book. I'm certain you'd expect I'd be angry and disappointed and take it right back for a refund. It doesn’t change what “some” did that it still means Bible, it’s a common sense explanation. You are trying too hard, understand the context, you can buy any book called “holy bible” i care less, the argument was not about that, that was the context. TOO DESPERATE! And stop assuming ignorantly and believing your crap, you are certain of NOTHING!

budaatum: I have been talking about the book that modern day Christians read all along, but you blind yourself and see Tanakh, and Yahweh of shasu tribe, and Chrestians, unfortunately. Now if you'd only paid attention instead of sticking your fingers in your eyes you'd have seen that.
So it's now part of the tanakh, and not "the Tanakh is in the Qur'an"? I guess we'll call that progress.
Now, show me which part of the Tanakh is in what part of the Qur'an, May. Christianity is just one of hundreds of religion. Shouldn’t modern day Christianity evolve from early Christianity? And how modern is this “modern Christianity” or people just don’t know the origin of the religion they are worshipping. What century did this “modern Christianity” start? If you have knowledge about the book you are reading, you’ll know who yahweh is, you’ll know what tanakh means, you’ll know the stories inside the New Testament are gotten from different sources and later rewritten. But you are too ignorant and arrogant to learn. If you know what tanakh means you’ll know it’s a part formed into one, yoy won’t be dumbly saying “tanakh god” Do you think the tanakh was written at the same time? This is part of the ignorance I’m talking about. Go and read the quran, moses didn’t just give them the 10 commandments there are more than 10 commandments.

budaatum: Thank you for finally recognising that the title of the one I am reading specifically has Holy Bible written on the cover. But even naming a book "holy" does mean I have to revere it, May. It would be rather stupid to revere a book that went through numerous fabrications, edits translations etc etc, don't you think? I mean, it's not like my copy is some very expensive valuable rare edition or anything. It's just a regular copy. Bud, It seems you are confused, what we’ve been talking about is that the collection of books is simply called BIBLE. “Holy” is an extra. Hope you finally understand? You can buy any book title “holy bible”. Oyo Bud, read to understand, just try. I never said a book has to be titled “holy” for you to revere it. Read the statement again. You are getting desperate. |

No I did not just "strolled into a store to buy a book called “holy bible"". The Holy Bible I bought and that I'm now reading was ordered on Amazon and was next day delivered because I had Prime.
And I did not buy it just to read and understand two words on the cover but to read the entire book, again. Here you go again, ignorantly assuming about me and believing your crap! Holy bible simply means BIBLE and that’s what it is commonly called. You can be reading your book called “holy bible”

Christianity Etc › Re: The Israelite God, Yahweh Of Shasu Tribe by Maynman: 2:06pm On Aug 11, 2022 |
budaatum: Of course there is the same book without the Holy. I got copies with and without the Holy myself, but the particular one that I am currently reading says Holy Bible on the cover.
Is that too difficult to understand? The title of the one you are reading is called “holy bible” another one is called “bibilia” with the same context. You don’t have to name a book “holy” before it’s revered. The book is COMMONLY CALLED AND KNOWN AS “bible”, stop making up BS because you bought a book titled “holy bible” Hope that’s not too difficult to understand?

Christianity Etc › Re: The Israelite God, Yahweh Of Shasu Tribe by Maynman: 2:04pm On Aug 11, 2022 |
budaatum: The modern day Christians have only 3 gods, May. They are called the Trinity, and are made up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, though they do some wuruwuru to make 3 equal to one.
No May, it was not my "first time buying a book a book the “designer of the factory” called holy bible".
In fact, my first copy was a wedding gift to my mother which I stole and read, while my second was given to me in school. I've since bought many for myself and for others and the Qur'an too. You'd find some I bought in the library in the Orolu Kingdom of Ifon Osun.
Nigerian people told me so I checked for myself, and what I found were humans making up gods. They don't teach gods anymore were I grew up.
No holy does not "means to have reverence for god", least not in the instance where it is the collection of books that are referred to as holy, with the intention that they, the books, be revered. Some even go as far as claiming God wrote it in heaven so it should be super-revered, but as I said, I got copies I use as doorstops.
You don't say!
Personally, I don't revere books May. I read them to get an understanding of what is written in them so I don't end up talking crap like "the tanakh is in the Qur'an". Ooh bud, you should have indicated you meant “modern day Chrestians”. If that’s so, that means modern day Chrestians evolve from early Chrestians right? You were the one that brought in buying books from the store as you like TALKING. That means you had knowledge of the book before going to the store and you didn’t just to to buy a book called “holy bible” Nobody said holy means “reverence” if you have been paying attention, holy simply means whole and complete. Holy and wholly. I’m sure the word is not meant for onlt Chrestian books. If you read books you should read to understand and not to argue ignorantly.. Tanakh means the acronym of it’s different part, if you know that, you would know that the 10 commandments is found in the torah a part of the tanakh, and you’ll also know part of the tanakh are in the quran. Go and read the creation story in quran, your ignorance is glaring.. If you had read with understanding you won’t be writing BS like “tanakh god” bwahahahah

That is the book that I am reading May. The same one Christians read today. We have thousands of book titled “holy” bud. Chrestians read bible, you calling it “holy bible” is extra, bud. budaatum: The Christian Gods I suppose. They have got like 3.
No May. I have read the Bible from cover to cover 3 times in all. We had no light when I was young, so I had the time, and I was fascinated that people around me believed/revered a book. The Chrestian gods have more than 3 gods, uncountable. That’s why i said if you don’t know the origin of iesus Chrestus don’t assume ignorantly. Read to comprehend, it was your first time buying a book the “designer of the factory” called holy bible. How did you know the book contains gods? And holy means to have reverence for god? There are SO MANY BOOKS that are revered depends on which part of the world you are and easily accessible to.

Some call it “best book” it’s like a nickname to it. Bud, don’t you get, Bible literally means COLLECTION OF BOOKS. Bible LITERALLY MEANS BOOK! BIBLE LITERALLY MEANS BOOK! “HOLY” means WHOLE.

There is no Chrestian in the English Bible that I am reading, nor is there anyone called Chrestus in it neither unless you mean Jesus Christ. It’s commonly called bible, and the early Christian fathers and other sects had names for it! We have the codex vaticanus Codes sinaiticus We have the Ethiopian bible Etc. Do the actual learning. Bible means book. The Chrestian book created by Chrestian is called New Testament.

I guess it must be hard for you to accept what you see with your own eyes and would rather make crap up to believe. There’s nothing like “holy bible”. Bible simply means collections of book. And holy means “wholly”. You posting that picture as a proof of “holy bible” is a dumb take bro. A designer imprint is what you are accepting as “holy bible”. Lol
