doyinbaby:You mean "Christians are no longer under the law..."? So what is the "Ten Commandments" still doing in your Bible? Did Jesus abolish the law? No He didn't |

Take me back to the old Paths, when Moms were at home. Dads were at work. Brothers went into the army. And sisters got married BEFORE having children! Crime did not pay; Hard work did; And people knew the difference. Moms could cook; Dads would work; Children would behave... Husbands were loving; Wives were supportive; and children were polite. Women wore the dresses; and Men wore the trousers. Women looked like ladies;Men looked like gentlemen; and children looked decent. People loved the truth, and hated a lie; They came to church to get IN, Not to get OUT! Hymns sounded Godly; Sermons sounded helpful; Rejoicing sounded normal; and crying sounded sincere. Cursing was wicked; Drinking was evil; and divorce was unthinkable. We read the Bible in public; Prayed in school; And preached from house to house. To be called a Christian was worth living for; To be called a traitor was a shame! Sex was a personal word. Homosexual was an unheard of word, And abortion was an illegal word. Preachers preached because they had a message; and Christians rejoiced because they had the VICTORY! Preachers preached from the Bible; Singers sang from the heart; Sinners turned to the Lord to be SAVED! A new birth meant a new life; Salvation meant a changed life; Following Christ led to eternal life. Being a preacher meant you proclaimed the word of God; Being a deacon meant you would serve the Lord; Being a Christian meant you would live for Jesus; And being a sinner meant someone was praying for you! Laws were based on the Bible; Homes read the Bible; And churches taught the Bible. Preachers were more interested in new converts than new clothes and new cars. Church was where you found Christians on the Lord's day, rather than being entertained someway. Give me that old time religion! 'Tis good enough for me! I still like the "Old Paths" best! Jeremiah 6:16. Please will u 4ward this to ur generation maybe it will add meaning to someone . Pls Bless a soul today. Copied |

brunofarad:ibughubu here |
[s] brunofarad:[/s] Which part of umuchu are you from? Home sweet home! That Chinelo surely behaved stupidly. |
richdaddy75:Try this school: Adventist Secondary Technical College Owerrinta Abia State. I just hope you wouldn't be mad at your boy for not taking the first position or fifth. Finally, how many laurels can your boy win there? *smiles* |
cococandy:3 bedrooms. Parlor with dinning room. 3 bathrooms and toilets (two, in only two rooms). |
Why is the roof very close to the top of the window? I guess the lintel wasn't "chained round" the building. When did you buy cement and at what cost? How many rooms / partitions are in the house? Well, considering the picture before me, I think N1m should be enough, minus the roof |

themall:Yes they did until 325AD or thereabout. Man tried to change it from Saturday sabbath to Sunday, 1st day of the week because Jesus resurrected on Sunday. Jesus as his custom was... entered the synagogue on the sabbath and taught the people. The apostles, early church observed that day of rest that God told the isrealites to "remember to keep holy... " These days we claim all the promises of the isrealites made to them by God. Some would say "but we are not isrealites nah" then why is the old testament and the 10 commandments still in your Bible? Read Gal 3:26-29 and find out how we are all isrealites. Then why should we expunge just that 4th commandment from the rest? So please tell me, why don't jehova witnesses worship on, or observe, or keep the sabbath day holy? |
Why don't jw keep the sabbath? Even Jesus kept it. Don't say it's for the Jews cos what we had at eden was "mankind" when God instituted it. There was no Christian, no jew |
[s] allthingsgood:[/s] I just pointed out the ones I could remember. Don't forget that Mr. President said pdp did "nothing". At least I've listed some points to counter the "nothing". Mind you I haven't crucified PMB yet. He just needs to stop this blame game. It's becoming very annoying. |
