Hey, entering the pool is independent of having POF, applying after you get ITA though depends on having POF.
Some applicants don’t even have POF in their account until they get ITA, then a family member gifts them whole/part of the money…they merge a gift deed + evidence of transfer in addition to bank reference letter.
It’s always best to enter pool as soon as eligible.

A couple comment for OP & intending applicants, POF is not one size fit all.

Some banks(GTB, Access Bank) won’t include your current balance no matter what you say in the branch, hence the need for 6 months statement of account. IRCC requires the bank to state average balance for past 6 months in the reference letter.

Your salary also determines the amount of scrutiny the POF documents will get, I’m fairly certain @Farawayman was not earning #100-150k per month(~#1,000,000perAnnum) and then submitted POF of +#20,000,000 and would have gotten PPR with just bank reference letter without an ADR explaining source of lump sum back when he applied.
e.g Miss B who works as a Senior Engineer with Chevron/Shell and earns millions of Naira monthly(some allowances are paid in $ self) may not need to explain source of funds but Mr A, a bank teller with UBA for 3 years will need to explain lump sums.

I didn't submit bank statement, so there was no way IRCC could have checked when the funds in my account entered(It is a lot of funds, both NGN and USD and each of them was more enough for my POF for my family size). What I did was apply to my bank(one of the international banks operating in Nigeria) and they gave me a one page letter showing my balances as at day of application... They didn't write any 6 months average balance or anything of such… In my opinion the bank's reference letter trumps everything else and should suffice. POF is only submitted after ITA, but since there is a request for 6 months average balance.

Only way to find out is to apply and answer all questions honestly especially about previous visa rejections or entry denial. Use legitimate documents….Then hope for the best.

Since he’s so interested in his balance, he should set up a 5-10 minutes google meet and share live screen as he logs into your account and open the PPr letter with your name on top.
If he declines to do that, my sister count your losses and order GCMS note.

No it cannot be used.
Credential evaluation for immigration is what is required for EE.
You have to do two different evaluations in that case.
One for immigration and the other for study.

IMO it’s probably better to apply for your parents with the minor& a separate application for your older sibling.

You don’t necessarily have to do a gift deed as he’s coming to visit you right, simply state in the invitation letter that you’d cover all his expenses and provide bank statement, paystubs etc to support the claim. some folks even provide mortgage agreements to show they can accommodate the relative.

I want to use my mom as the main applicant since her travel history and account is very solid. My question is how much should my brother who is 34, show as POF, should I decouple his application from my parents and my sibling that is a minor or should I join it together. Also has anyone used gift deed as POF for tourist visa?

If they asked for updated PoF it usually means they want to finalize your application soon and want to be sure you have the funds available for settling in Canada. So IMO you’re probably better off liquidating into your savings and topping up the account.
Or provide updated documents showing maturity date and show the extra/top up in your other account.

A short LOE explaining how your PoF is split btw your fixed investment with providus bank which will mature on 01/01/1900 and #xxxxxxx in my savings account with ABC bank will also be helpful. Attach documents n bank reference letter to back both up.

One important thing to keep in mind is that the details in the new application must match the previous one, so you need details the previous agent used. e.g agent said you are a director in ABC company, in new application you can’t be a clerk in XYZ. That’s misrepresentation.
Or the more popular one, agent said she’s married with a kid for home ties….you can’t be single without a child in the new application.
So it’s not just about UCI or creating new login details the information and documents need to match the old application. So she may need to follow up with the agent or request GCMS.

But my question now is, if someone want to reapply in the future, what happens to the email the agent used for the previous application and the ircc account created by the agent that this person cannot access by logging into it. If this person want to reapply in the future, will the person have to register afresh on the ircc portal, and using another email, phone no etc.,hope it won't cause any problem for the new application having know he applied before using different ircc login and email. Each application is processed independently, I know someone who had Visitor visa refused and Spousal approved after awhile.
Having a current spousal application doesn’t exactly scream I plan to visit my spouse and come back to Nigeria 🇳🇬 to the visa officer.
You and/or your spouse should keep sending webform appealing for prompt processing as you already have SA approval. Do you know the visa office processing the application?

“One and same person” affidavit should solve this.
The notary public or court workers usually have a template for it.
If it’s not too expensive it’s usually best to notarize legal documents.

Not declaring you lived in UK is misrepresentation and may attract 5 years ban in addition to a rejected application.

What the police certificate will show is if you committed a crime while in UK. And a background check will show if you overstayed your visa in UK.
That’s what should be your concern IMO.

One of the drop-down(options) after u sign in is ‘application details and documents submitted’. If u select that option you should get the complete application package. It may take longer than the average 30 days I hear.
A faster option is to use all available means to get the details from the agent.

So I've gotten ITA and while gathering my documents, I noticed that on my bank statement of account and reference letter, my name is not exactly complete.

My bank said that is how the name is captured in the system because my name is too long and it surpassed the character limit.

I'm wondering if this will be an issue and will writing an LOE can help in this case?

Historically, the highest Agric Category draw was 437, previous draws were lower (386 & 354). So at 466 you should be fine IMO.

What’s your CRS?
If your work was within past 3 years and it aligns with NOC 82030, your current WES should suffice for category based ITA. You’ll need a reference letter that details most of the Farm supervisor duties you performed.
But you have to wait for Agriculture occupations ITA, and my guess is they may do one soon as the last one was February 16th.

A quick google search will answer your question. I did one just now and found most MLA jobs require a certification from OSMT or CSMLS.
Your next plan would be to find out how to get those certificates and the potential cost.

It’s only RPRF you get back, & I don’t think you paid that.

Quite on the contrary, it wasn't a scam, we did WES verification and got emailed from Canada. We also got some further correspondence up to the point they asked us to take our passports to VFS for our biometrics which we did.

So since we stopped at that stage and we were not given the PR ,I'm just asking for ways to go about recovering the visa fees I paid earlier as my consultant (who is a licenced immigration consultant) appears to be foot dragging

Extension doesn’t lead to change of status to work permit. You’d simply have another 6 months visit visa.
What’s your spouse studying for? Diploma? masters? PhD?
For you to change to work permit, you’d have to get a job with an LMIA approved company within the initial 6 months or the additional 6 months if extension is granted and use the job offer to apply for work permit.
Legit LMIA job offer is difficult to get though.

Do you have more than 3 years in the job experience you plan to use as main NOC?
If yes, you can move the others to personal history.
If NO, there’s no restriction on how many NOC u can use especially if you need the max 3 years experience for higher CRS score.
N.B: at least one experience should be continuous for one year and for Category based draw, work experience should be at least 6 months in last 3 years.

Payslips are proactively merged with work experience reference letter NOT PoF as further proof of experience. More recently, some Category based applicants get ADR for payslips anyway.

Most banks have a template already for their bank reference letters and it doesn’t include average balance for 6 months, so people attach 6 months statement.
I don’t know how the average is calculated, but other’s experience shows visa officers are skeptical about lumpsums (not gift deed). So you may have to explain $0 for 5 months then a sudden $25,000.

I wanna ask please, why do people upload payslips and bank statement for Pof since all ircc asks is a letter from the bank, with the banks contact details, the banks address, when the applicant's account was opened, the balance in the applicant's account and the average balance of the applicant's account in the last 6 months. Is there added benefit for including payslips? I dey avoid anything wey go make me upload bank statement o, inflow and outflow in my acc is not looking nice, and its unexplainable cus its usdt business ish. I want to believe just letter from the bank should do since that is what ircc asks of, unless of course they further ask for more documents.

secondly, if my balance in Jan=0, Feb=0, Mar=0, Apr=0, May=0, Jun=25,000,
would my average balance for the past 6months be (0+0+0+0+0+0+25,000)/6=4,166
abeg is the calculation correct.

The suggestion was that I should edit the NOC of my first job (title and experience) to that of pharmacy assistant while I leave my other jobs (titles and experiences) to be under the pharmacist NOC. My question is that is it advisable to do that even though the roles of my first job is quite similar to that of the pharmacy assistant. Also pharmacists on this forum that have gotten ITA from the healthcare draw and those that are in the pool should please drop their opinion as well. The whole thing has just been confusing me so I thought to ask for help.

That’s a sound advise as most fresh Pharmacy graduates in Nigeria do Pharmacy Assistant roles for their 1 year paid internship, some even continue to do most of the main duties of pharmacy assistant NOC afterwards(NYSC and post NYSC). So if that’s applicable to you and your work reference letter indicates same you should be fine. Just make sure the pharmacy assistant job is within past 3 years & the job lasted at least 6 months.
Also ensure your reference letter states pharmacy assistant and the roles are similar to the NOC code.

How did you raise the money? Saving or Part previous PoF?
In addition to bank ref letter and Statement of account, I believe 3-6 months payslips(to show you can conveniently save the POF), employment letter and perhaps a short LOE explaining, I saved $12345 over xxxx period for the purpose of my immigration would help your case.

Which date will the affidavit have? If it’s recent, you should get affidavit in Canada, I think it’s $20/$25 for one.

It’s not a terrible idea. Depending on the cost of daycare, it may even be cost effective short-term.
The parent can’t stay more than 6 months per entry though, except they have a good reason to request for an extension before the 6 months elapses.

If you add her before you apply, your CRS Score will be recalculated at initial eligibility stage as married.
If it’s lower than the ITA cutoff, your application will be rejected.
So simulate your score as married 1st, expectedly it will be lower as your prospective spouse doesn’t have IELTS nor WES.
If your simulated score is higher than the cut off you have nothing to worry about… marry her already!!, e.g if after adding your spouse your simulated CRS is 460 and cut off is 445.

If simulated score married is lower than cut off, you may want to (1)gather all necessary documents, apply as single before marriage and add wife Post AOR, (2) decline ITA, (3) postpone marriage small if you can’t gather all documents in time and apply as single then add your wife Post AOR
