SPIRIT OF HOLINESS
The Holy Spirit is called the spirit of Holiness because He is the holiness of God and because it is His job to work that holiness in all those who believe in Jesus Christ as savior.
As long we are on this earth the Holy Spirit will continue to work in us and He is able to complete and finish the good work.Phil 1:6. God hates sin and anytime He finds it in us,He quickly works to cleanse us of it. This Facts alone explains why we need the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, the Holy Spirit is also working with the Father to remove from us anything that is displeasing to Him.
Jesus is in heaven preparing a place for us(John 14:2-3), and the holy spirit is in us preparing us for the place.
Isa 4:4 refers to the Holy Spirit as the spirit of Judgment and Burning. This relates to the spirit of Holiness. He judges sin in us and burn it out of us. It is not a pleasant thing as far as our feelings are concerned, but it eventually brings us to the place God desires us to be in so that we may glorify Him.

SPIRIT OF ADOPTION
Rom. 8:15 teaches us that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of Adoption. Adoption here means we have been brought into the family of God even though we were previously outsiders, unrelated to God in anyway.We are sinners serving satan, but God in His great mercy redeemed us and purchased us with the blood of His own Son.Eph 2:4-5.
The way physical adoption goes,the same way God has adopted us as fatherless or motherless children.Psalm 27:10
Through the new birth, we have been brought into the family of God. He has become our Father. We have become heirs of God and joint heirs with His Son Jesus Christ.Rom 8:16-17.
It is the knowledge of this family relationship that gives us boldness
to go before the throne of God and let our requests be made known to Him.Heb 4:16. Phil 4:6.
The Spirit Of Adoption is the same Holy Spirit who worked in your heart bringing you into the family of God, or perhaps is working in your heart right now as you read these words.

SPIRIT OF SUPPLICATION
According to Zechariah 12:10, the Holy Spirit is the spirit of supplication, that means He is the spirit of prayer. Each time we sense a desire to pray, it is the Holy Spirit giving us that desire. Sometimes we may not understand why a person or situation is always on our mind, instead of thinking we should pray. Recognizing when we are being led by the Holy Spirit to pray is often a lesson that takes a long time to learn.
The Holy Spirit not only leads us to pray. He shows us how to pray when we dont know what to pray for.Rom 8:26-27.

SPIRIT OF TRUTH
In John 16:13, Jesus refers to the Holy Spirit as the spirit of Truth. Jesus also said that He Himself is "the Way and the Truth and the Life." That means Jesus and the Holy Spirit must be One.
The Holy Spirit was sent to guide up into all truth. In John 16:12-15, Jesus Told His disciples that He still had much He wanted to share with them, but they are not yet ready.He told them the Holy Spirit Would continue revealing things to them as they become ready to receive it.
Truth is wonderful cause it sets you free.John 8:31-32. We must be ready for it cause the truth is harsh. It shocks us into a reality that we may not be prepared for if the timing is not right.
We live in a world today filled with people who are living false lives, wearing masks of pretense and hinding things. Sometimes satan deceives us, but at other times we deceive ourselves i.e we fabricate lies we are comfortable with instead of facing life as it really is and deal with issues by the power of the Holy Spirit.

SPIRIT OF LIFE.
Adam was a lifeless form until God breathed into him the breath of life and he became a living soul.
In 1Cor 15, Paul explains that the last Adam(Christ) became a life giving spirit. In v46, he illustrates that God gives us a physical life first and then a spiritual life. This spiritual rebirth is given to those who place their trust in God, believing that Jesus paid the price for sin and that He died for who sincerely repent of their sins, change their mind for better and amend their ways. We are all born earthly minded until we meet Christ, but through Christ we can become heavenly minded.1Cor 15:47-49.
When Jesus Said He has come to give us life in John 10:10, He was speaking of the life filled with the Spirit Of God, or a heavenly minded life like the one He lived i.e a higher kind of life which comes from being born of the spirit. Romans 8:8-11 explains why we need Jesus to fill our human spirit with His spirit.

SPIRIT OF GLORY
Peter states that spirit of God, the spirit of glory, rests upon us when we are reproached for the name of Christ. When people mistreat us because we are christains, we might think its awful, but God sees it in a different light. God never expects us to suffer for Him without His help. So, whenever we are reproached or mistreated because of our faith in Christ, God gives us an extra measure of this spirit to counter the attack.
When we have the spirit of God in our life we can go through difficult circumstances and keep our peace and joy. Like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Dan 3:20-27, we can go into the fiery furnace(problems and struggles) and come out without even the smell of smoke upon us.
God loves to take a mess and make something out of it. If you ask him to do so, He will take your mess and turn it into your ministry. Your burden will then become your blessing and your weakness becomes your weapon.
The glory of God is the revelation and manifestation of all that He has and is.

SPIRIT OF GRACE
Grace is the power of the Holy Spirit available to us to do with ease what we cannot do by striving. But first, it is the power that enables us to be right with God so that we will become His home, the home of the Holy Spirit. With the Holy Spirit inside us, we can reach in to draw on the power of the spirit of grace to do what we cannot do by striving in our own power.
Walking in the Holy Spirit is the only way to reach perfection.Gal 3:3. When God makes changes, God gets the glory; therefore, He won't let us change ourselves.
Many people feel like they need to earn their way to God by doing good things to win His acceptance. This is not true, we enter into relationship with God by receiving salvation as a free gift imparted to us by God's grace through our faith in His son Jesus Christ. It is thereby impossible for anyone to be right with God without knowing Jesus.
Grace is the power by which men are saved through their faith in Jesus Christ.Eph 2:8.

The book of Revelation speaks of the seven spirits that are before God's throne. Rev. 3:1, 1:4 and 4:5 refers to the seven spirit of God. There is only one Holy Spirit,but the reference to seven spirits shows us that He has various ways of manifesting and expressing Himself among men to bring fullness to their lives. Just as the trinity is one God in three persons, so the Holy Spirit is one Spirit with different operations or mode of expression.
Let us look at scriptures that reveals the seven different ways the Holy Spirit manifests Himself in our everyday life.
