We took our bank statements, E-mail correspondence with Dr, Dr's approval letter and charges.

I left for Houston at 33 weeks.

Yes o! Quite high but that is the coy they use - Pediatrix; I am not sure you have a choice at least for those 2 days that will be spent in the hospital. After discharge you then choose a doctor for the baby. But overall, it is still a fair deal...

And to all the Sharp Mamas that travelled with palm oil,pls how did you package it? Was it in tin container or rubber.

Thanks. Hospital will get the pediatrician that will attend to the baby at birth, after discount it was 1000usd thereabout. Pathologist was around 110 usd for me and the baby.

Hello Peeps,

This platform as really been of help to me so I think I should share my experience briefly;
I applied for visa alongside my husband on our virgin passport and reason being that I was going for delivery and we were granted visa. My poe was DFW and it was very easy ( I requested for wheel chair).
My Dr is Glenn Morgan and hospital was Houston Northwest Medical Centre. I got bills for Doctor, Hospital, Pediatrician and Pathologist; I spent approximately 6500 USD for normal delivery including epidural.
I lodged at Intown Suites but discovered I would have stayed at Studio 6 at Bammel Westfield Road. Studio 6 is closer and walking distance to the hospital and Dr's (depending on your energy level). Kroger, Babies "R" Us, DD's Discount, Fallas and other stores are very close to Studio 6. It is possible to get all documents within a week post delivery. I went to Downtown Houston and got the BC within 30 minutes, I booked appointment and got Passport same day and with the help of Tanko, Visa can be gotten within 48 hours.
God is indeed faithful.

Forgot to ask what the drs fee for giving epi is.

Dr glenn morgan
Fee 2000 inclusive of all tests
his receptionist said 200 for some drs fee (i don forget - my child was making plenty noise and i was tired of saying ehn)
for each thime u r induced 200.

Has anyone used this hospital? would really like a feedback.

Any Sept/ Oct mums in the house?

Research continues........ also got some info for a hospital in chicago will post soon.

I hope im not crossing the line Mr Justwise.
