A British man hanged himself hours after receiving a letter

Ian Sandywell, a car salesman was said to have been 'crying and upset' after receiving the letter, so he texted his 22 year-old son Ben: "Delete me out of your life please. I'm going to hang myself."

Hours later his wife Jo-ann Balsamo returned from work and found him dead in their garage.

A very shameful act

It was a messy situation and a show of shame on Sunday as two pastors of the Assemblies of God Church Nigeria and their supporters turned a worship service to a fighting bout.

The situation attracted the attention of police officers who stormed the church. After all their frantic efforts to stop the fight and bring the situation under control through negotiation proved abortive, they immediately ordered the shutting down of the church as a last resort to avoid break down of law and order. The police officers cordoned off the church and put it under lock, while the leaders of the two factions were asked to report to police station.

If there is anything 86-year-old Xia Wang from China wants right now, it is to pass his college entrance exam and go to school.

Xia, from China has always dreamed of going to university and has been sitting for China’s college entrance exam since 1954 and failing.

Wang Xia graduated from high school in 1949. His first attempt came in 1954. Although he didn't pass, Wang refused to give up taking the Gaokao entrance exam. He has been sitting for the university entrance exam since 1954 when he was a boy and has always been failing.

Relatives told him to give up, but he refused!

As long as he lives, Xia Wang remains determined to pass this exam and go to school. Now he is 86 years old and can’t walk well, he sat for the exam again on Monday June 8th 2015.

Officers in Washington State, US received a 911 call from a man who claimed he saw a tiger on top of a sports utility vehicle at Lacamas Lake, a popular recreation area. When police, loaded with guns and bullets went to the venue, they found out that it was just a toy placed on the roof of a car by a 19-year-old boy! Ha ha

See, that is the problem we have in Nigeria. The difference in salaries and wages between the managers and their subordinates is too high.l am not talking of the MD yet.How can you justify it that monthly take home of a manager is 450k and that of his subordinates that do the job is 105k. To me oo,this is the area Labour Unions should look into.

The truth is that many people are either underpaid or overpaid. It's a tough situation.

60 year-old Will Connor was a teenager when he met a girl on holiday in Wales. The girl told him her name is “Dabby”. Thereafter, the girl disappeared and they lost contact. Since then (the past 40 years), Mr Connor had been busy searching for the girl everywhere until now. He said the girl even left her purse in his car!

Kenyans mockingly asked whether Renzi took the adage 'security starts with you' a step too far.

Where have we ever seen that kind of thing before.....in a state house that is very, very safe and secure!

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi arrived in Kenya 3 days ago for a two-day official visit. He met with President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House for the signing of a Sh34 billion financing agreement with Italy banks for the construction of Itare Dam in Kuresoi. But if you look closely at the pictures of the Italian prime minister which was taken at the state house, you’ll notice what looks like corner-shaped outfit underneath the PM’s slim fit Italian suit.

We expect an Italian prime minister, Matteo Renzi to wear a well-cut suit in a meeting with a world leader
Question is: Why did he wear bullet-proof vest to meet with Kenya’s president. Isn’t the state house safe? If the State house is not safe, where else is safe in Kenya
