Words on the street has it that most igbos are beginning to kick against the so called Biafra agitation created by the IPOB. In their words “Ipob has lost direction...their modus operandi,demonic”.


Igbos can’t trade in peace anymore because some set of jobless illiterates have hijacked the struggle. Worse is that those cheering the wrong route of the struggle ,majority are based outside the south East and have their businesses far away from Ipob troubles and destruction. But what happens to the common man who gets his wages on d daily? The tomatoes sellers? The artisans? The wheelbarrow pushers in d market places? Etc what then will become of them?

Igbos are beginning to lament on the increase in crime rate in the region due to the incessant sit at homes which has led to massive hunger and poverty.

On the part of the South South, the region isn’t surprised seeing how the leadership of Ipob has turned the region into chaos. Reason why they outrightly rejected the inclusion of their states into the Biafra territory. Lucky? Ain’t they?

Big businesses who decided to comeback to the region as a result of the Governors “aku ruo ulo “ campaign are beginning to bite their tongues in heavy regret. This is due to the destruction of businesses created by ipob decrees. For those who don’t know,the meaning of the quoted words “bring the wealth home” “bring your expertise back home” “develop the eastern region as well”. Now do we say the initiative is in the mud already?

General body language of the people says that they are no longer in support of the ipob leadership and may soon clamping down on them if care isn’t taken.

However, the modus operandi of IPOB in actualizing Biafra is crude and barbaric. These guys are killing businesses in Igbo land, killing people who go about their normal businesses. Today, monday, 13th September, 2021, they shot at our younger brothers and sisters who were writing WAEC examination and burnt down vehicles there. This is evil.
What is the difference between these guys and boko haram or Talibans.
Most people ordering this sit at home are abroad, while many are outside Igbo land, trying to destroy the south east.
Is this the kind of Biafra we want? Biafra where the leaders will be worse than Idi amin of Uganda? If this is the kind of Biafra they want in order to exercise totalitarianism, may such Biafra never come. These men are evil, brutish, mean and wicked.

I know that whenever Buhari visits the north, people climb on billboards and trees to have a glimpse of him, wave at him and praise him. Of course, he is human and enjoys such scenes.

Imagine an entire region shutting down in protest because a president is visiting. Indeed, the IPOB sent a strong, unprecedented message to him and his goons. I'm sure what he met in Imo State was shocking, to say the least.

he youth wing of the Igbo socio-political organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has urged youths in Imo State to come out in their numbers to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday.

Onwuasoanya FCC Jones, Deputy National Leader of the youth wing of Ohanaeze, said Igbo youths would welcome Buhari to Imo State and extend all the hospitality he needs.

Jones urged security agents to deal with anybody or group found attacking residents who come out to welcome Buhari to Imo State.

This was contrary to claims by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, that Buhari is not welcomed to the State.

IPOB had declared a sit-at-home in protest against the President’s visit to the State.

However, Jones said Igbo youths should file out to welcome the President because his visit is business-oriented and not for a jamboree.

In a statement he signed, Jones said: “As we are all aware, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, shall be in Imo on an official working visit on the 9th of September, 2021.

“The President’s visit to Imo is his first working visit to the State since taking office in 2015 and the first time the State is hosting a President on working visit since 2009.

It is delightful to note that the President is not coming for a jamboree but for serious businesses that every true Imo nay Igbo son or daughter should look forward to.

“It is on the strength of the above that Igbo youths, worldwide have resolved, not only to welcome the President to the Eastern Heartland, Imo, but to also come out in their numbers to give the President the hospitality he deserves within the period he is in Imo.

“May I reiterate that Igbo youths are peace-loving, hardworking and honourable people and would, therefore, not bring themselves to take part in any act that aims to disrupt this important State event.

Anyone or group of people found to be involved in any act aimed at disrupting this State visit or harassing those who wish to participate should be treated as invaders and or felons and not doing so on behalf of Ndigbo or Igbo the youths.”
