gaining admission into socanth or any other department for that matter is as easy as passing ur test well above others. One advantage however is that most people dont choose sociology as their preffered course of study, so the competition is not much compared to pol. Sc. and econs

d school mostly invite only people who made upto 200 for putme.

so if they keep to this tradition, u wont get a chance. I however dont knw about going 4 another school

as you await the commencement of the post utme date, u may want to keep in your kitty, 2 passport size photographs with red background, you may also want to get it scanned and saved as the registration will be online

You stand a Chance of being admitted, but to better your chances, score a much higher point.

Alfred, honestly if you are serious, you'ld be the one doing the calling. That's by the way.
No one can say what the cost of the card is until it is announced.
If you'll be accepted as a second choice candidate? Cant say till it is announced. But I think they should but first choice candidates get preferential treatment

I've seen posts of people saying that the dates of the putme has been fixed but fail 2 give detail of d sale of cards.
Please note
1. The University has yet to announce the putme dates,

2. The announcement of post utme dates is not come differently from the sale of putme cards, as date for the test, commencement of registration and sales of card.

3. When they do, they wont be coming differently.

Just a little tip 4 prospective Lions/Lionesses:
the school and fellowships make provisions to accommodate you 4 the nights you may spend(mostly two)
so dont let anybody cow you into parting with your money in the name of making such provision 4 u, yours is to make it to the den early enough

advice to candidates of UNN;
get yourselves prepared for the exams, the questions are not going to be any different from what you have already seen,
you must try to make the highest possible score, because thousands of people also want to there.
timing is essential as you would be expected to answer 60 questions in 60mins.
above all LOOK UP TO GOD cos he has his way of making your dream come true

commencement and deadline for registration etc.
Beware of promises in securing admission as most could be fraud and are bound to back-fire.

The University of Nigeria has said that it will admit students to study medical related courses.
This was coming against the backdrop of a purported rumour being pedelled by online media that the institution had failed to meet the requirements for accreditation and at such will not admit students to study medicine for the 2011/2012 academic session.
The Public Relations office in a broadcast today said the institution had no problem with accreditation in medicine or any discipline for that matter and would as such carryout the admission process to admit qualified candidates.

Meanwhile the date for the post-utme test is yet to be announced by the institution, candidates are hereby
adviced to go on with their preparations in other to gain admission into the Lions' den where the nation's potentials do brood in the nest.
