AjanleKoko: LOL.
Did we not see some horrific performances during Tito's year? 7-0 aggregate, 3-1 in a Clasico at home?

The old Barca would have lost that game 3-1.
Abi oh, I jux believe that it's still too early to start crucifying or praising the team. I never xpected the game to be a walk-over, even with Ibra and Co not playing.

Who knows if when they eventually play in the 2nd leg is when we will beat them
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by mcdreeezy: 2:46pm On Oct 02, 2014
This loss does not define Barca. We should not make it look as if we were beaten flawlessly

50calibre: These pics provides a glimpse into the past & what life in Nigeria could have been today if our colonial masters had stayed on.

I don't see the purpose of celebrating today, except in your opinion, 54 years of failure is worth celebrating. Independence was Nigeria's biggest mistake, we did not deserve independence, we still don't deserve independence.

Today calls for sober reflection not celebration, and if Nigerians are indeed concerned about the future, they should unite & forward a petition to the British government for wilful re-colonisation. This British government will gladly oblige, it is going to be of mutual benefit to both sides, and we might just have the same type of relationship they have with the Falklands & Gibralta.

Over a period of 54 years we've demonstrated a complete lack of ability to govern ourselves, how much longer before we acknowledge the fact, maybe we shouldn't be independent in the first place?
A gazillion likes for you bro!

dmcdad: We ain't giving them break bruv. This is the 3rd below par performance this season. Imagine in 8 games we have only played well in 5 of those. That's bad for our standard as the benchmark for football clubs.

It's not abouy winning PSG that matters. Okay imagine how we played against Apoel at the Camp Nuo. That was an aweful performance. Need I mention Malaga? Something needs to be done.
Hmm.... True, but PSG were unnecessarily aggressive. I think Barca needs to find a way to deal with aggressiveness from oppositions bcuz it seems to be one of most opposition strategy, along with bus parking. These two strategies works against us most times, xpecially in big games
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by mcdreeezy: 10:48pm On Sep 30, 2014
Let's give them a break. To me it was Ter Stegen that fvcked up for not catchin the ball from that corner kick. It would have been 2-2 as usual.

Anyways, PSG will lose at Camp Nou; that I know

Of course, not once, not twice but everytime I see a chick with that sex appeal and that's like, every-fvckin-day

[2) Do u think having a friend with benefit is better than having a lame relationship?
Since the relationship is lame, yes I do. But I prefer one night stands

[3) What if u both start falling for each other?
Since I prefer one night stands, I don't see that happening

I can relate with this OP, this girl in the next department use to do a lot of them to me like staring, taking my fone to view the pictures and et al.

There was a day I was goin home after lectures, I was in the midst of some frnds, we all leave skul together. As we were nearing the gate, this girl called me and said she wanted to see me. For my mind I was like chai which kind tin be dis, abeg make dis girl no waste time oh cuz my padi no dey wait for me. I went to meet her and I was like wtsup, she said she's fine. She said she called me bcuz of two tins and I was like what are they? She took me back inside to a hall where we were alone and then she told me abt a test we wrote which a lecturer seized our scripts (d lecturer said we copied each other and wanted us to see him). After much deliberations, (time had gone) I asked her if that was all, after much silence and staring, she said yes. In my mind I was like, is that why she took all this time and brought me here? Mehn like say I wan do the babe bad tin for dat hall, she go gree wella.

I jux waved it off, we left the hall and I feel she wasn't happy. Maybe she xpected me to see the signs and man up to ask her out but I jux didn't want to, I dey give girls space. I felt twas jux a crush and she'll get over it (no be say I too fine o, me sef get pple wey I dey crush on). I later ended up runnin on the road jux to catch up with my frnds (twas quite a distance) and the heavy polybag I was carryin didn't help matters, that incident was really awkward mehn. This happened last month, she must have gotten over it by now. She's a great person

I jux say make I share my xperience, happy Independence in advance

donroxy: That shows the difference between Man and God !

When you forgives someone , your memory must have erased the entire issues leading to the offence and that phase of their life would be skipped as if it never happened but you can't continue to live with such person so offended you , then you haven't let go totally then you haven't forgive totally but :

Partially !!
Ok then

Yomieluv: no,that isn't forgiveness,in forgiveness, old things will pass away, and everything would be restored to default mode.
Somethin happened to me some months back, a lecturer sent me out of his class bcuz I had earphones plugged to my ears while he was in class and he said he didn't want me in his class for the next 3 weeks. I later went to apologize to him in his office and he said there's no problem but I must serve the punishment. Tho I didn't like it, I saw it as a fair punishment bcuz somethin worse could have happened.

So are u sayin bcuz he didn't revert the punishment, then he didn't forgive me?

We are humans and we're not perfect, forgiving is somethin we have to do but forgetting is the hardest to do bcuz the memory will always be there as we can't really choose what to remember or to forget. In the case of marriage, I believe one can forgive the spouse and still file for divorce.

I stand to be corrected tho
FamilyRe: What Is Your Understanding Of Forgiveness? by mcdreeezy(op): 7:24am On Sep 30, 2014
donroxy: No, he has not fulfilled Forgiveness in its entirety !! ... Forgiveness is like an eraser which clean an unwanted lines and makes the sheet looks like the strokes never happened !
To me, ''Forget'' is a core attribute of forgiveness but we are human , we may let go but we will still remember and easily feel hurt once again !!!
Hmm.... But I believe if one has put away the grudges he has, then it's forgiveness. He doesn't necessarily need to continue the marriage if he feels he can't cope with the memory of what happened
FamilyRe: What Is Your Understanding Of Forgiveness? by mcdreeezy(op): 7:20am On Sep 30, 2014

It is powerful not to forget sha !!

If that man in the other thread says he has forgiven the wife but can't continue the marriage, is that really forgiveness?
FamilyWhat Is Your Understanding Of Forgiveness? by mcdreeezy(op): 1:30am On Sep 30, 2014
As I went through this thread www.nairaland.com/1925336/woman-wrong-man-being-overly I was reading the comments when something crossed my mind.

Some people said that the man should forgive the wife, that it was an accident and it could have happened anywhere. It is true. But what really does forgiveness mean? Does it mean he should forget the fact that something bad happened despite the measure he took to prevent it? Does it mean he should do away with any grudges he has against the wife and they should continue living as before? What if he says he has forgiven the wife but can't continue the marriage, is that really forgiveness? There are many scenarios one can use.

If your friend hurts or betrays you and after pleading for your forgiveness, you finally forgive him/her but choose to keep your distance from that person, is that really forgiveness? Personally, I believe forgiveness is when you do away with grudges you have against someone (maybe the person hurt you badly) and then relate with the person on a clean slate (not too friendly or too mean).

What is your understanding of "forgiveness"?

Abeg make una come continue the debate oh, I jux realise say comments don finish as I reach here.

And emm, regarding high rate of divorce cases, the number must be on the high side quite frankly but within my neighborhood and family n friends circle, I don't know of any divorce cases.

I think I'm with crackhaus on this one, I know divorce cases are on the rise, but then again, does anyone know the amount of marriages that are still waxing strong? Not really. Why? Bcuz they're not talked about like the way divorce cases are talked about.

Abeg I been no wan comment b4 but no more comments to read again, so I say make I jux drop wetin dey my mind grin

Meanwhile make una come continue the debate oh....
