Kachisbarbie: Did I say it's all about the 'powerhouse'??
I thought that's what u meant
RomanceRe: . by mcdreeezy: 5:10pm On Sep 10, 2014
Kachisbarbie: Lollll!...and don't even like to imagine what their 'powerhouse' would look like. undecided
I remember this guy that was razzling me way back, my problem was just his complexion and I kept telling him, he found it difficult to believe that was the problem.

I don't dig fair guys, never dated one gaan, my hubby is dark too.
Ma'am it doesn't always have to be about the 'powerhouse'
RomanceRe: . by mcdreeezy: 5:05pm On Sep 10, 2014
Logicalmindy: That is not a fair comparison.

It should Wizkid with them.
Hehe...why is it not a fair comparison? I guess it's bcuz the difference in who looks better is clear cheesy

Ladies here always make it look like the dark guys beat the fair/light-skinned guys hands down.

I don't believe that
RomanceRe: . by mcdreeezy: 4:41pm On Sep 10, 2014
I don't believe this 'tall, dark n handsome' nonsense ladies spew on NL. There are fine dark guys and fine light-skinned guys, but to me, u can't compare john dumelo with majid michele or banky w or even ramsey nouah jux bcuz dumelo is dark

Lily4star: Lemme state the difference between Messi and CR7

Messi is a born talent, born with the gift of football, the way some peeps re born with the gift of Art, singing and the rest.

But

CR7, is a hardworker, he worked his a..sse off to get to the top, and his hardwork really paid off for him.

All thesame I appreciate both of them, they re both great players.
You've got a point right there ma'am

Lily4star: Are you sure you read through the OP's post?, it says for the Past 365 days not being at your best since your Prime, ''I was once a Millionaire and I am a Millionaire'' re two different things. No doubts Messi is world class, but wasn't at his best Last season,
Ok
SportsRe: Lionel Messi V Christiano Ronaldo by mcdreeezy: 11:54am On Sep 09, 2014
mubarakopeyemi: These two legends are unarguably the current world's greatest footballers and Debates hasn't stopped on Which of these two is greater.

When Barcelona meet Real Madrid the biggest subplot is the
battle of Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo was the world’s most expensive player when Real
signed him for $131 in the summer of 2009. Prior to that he had
been signed by Manchester United from Sporting Lisbon as an
18-year-old.
They are two of the highest paid soccer players in the world
game.
Messi has a release clause of $400 million and his rise to the top
could not contrast more starkly to that of Ronaldo. The
Argentinean left Newell’s Old Boys for Barcelona at the age of
13, with the club paying for treatment on a growth hormone
deficiency that threatened to stunt his progress. In 2012 he
became the club's record goalscorer at the age of just 24.
Each player has won the World Player of the Year award, and
has scored in a Champions League final.
Ronaldo says it is like comparing a "Ferrari with a Porsche", but
who is the best?

Goalscoring Ability
Since the appearance of Messi and Ronaldo on the
scene, La Liga's Pichichi trophy for top scorer has
only been about two players. Perhaps driven on, as
Ronaldo alludes to, by the need to make both
themselves and their team evermore formidable, the
two stars have taken hitting the back of the net to
new, almost unimaginable levels.
The numbers barely separate them. Messi has netted
315 goals in 381 games for Barcelona, since making
his debut back in the 2004/05 season. Ronaldo
averages a perfect one per game in Merengue ranks,
with 201 in 201.
This would appear to give the Portuguese a slight
edge, but take into account that Messi's total includes
the first four seasons of his professional career,
when even as a precocious teenager he was still
learning his trade.
This was a phase also experienced by his rival, who
was in his sixth year as a professional when first
recording a goal every two games in league football.
Ronaldo is the consummate poacher in front of goal
and strong enough to make him a fearsome prospect
for any defence. Messi's ability to score from across
the pitch, however, and coolness in defining shots,
means that he comes out as the best goalscorer in
this analysis.

The Final Verdict
In some ways, Cristiano Ronaldo suffers from rotten
luck. Strong, quick, deadly in front of goal and with
the ability to do the spectacular and clean up from
close in order to score, in most generations he would
undoubtedly be lauded as a cut above the rest.
Unfortunately for him, he shares the credits and La
Liga with Messi. Both the Argentine's talents and his
humble approach put him slightly above the Madrid
star and leave no doubt that he is the best player on
the planet.

But Hate and Favoritism Aside, based on Reality, Who do you think is better? Messi or Cr7. As for me, I chose Messi.
You just said it all OP. CR7 is a great player but Messi is simply outta this world, and yes, Messi is better at the round-leather game than CR7! #ViscaBarça!! #MésQueUnClub!!!
SportsRe: World's 50 Best Footballers, According To Fifa 15 by mcdreeezy:
Lily4star: The Current World best player should be Number 1(Ronaldo), cos even Robben has been better than Messi in the last 365days, everyone knew he didn't deserve that Golden ball at the world cup, his own fellow compatriot Diego Maradona said it too without being biased.

1. Ronaldo,
2.Robben,
3.Messi
4.Muller

EA Sports should ve used the current Goal50 for it

#My opinion though#
I don't think you can compare someone who's been the best since his prime to someone who's only the best due to recent achievements. Ronaldo is only the best when u judge with his recent season, but overall I think Messi is the best

1. Cristiano Ronaldo [LaFerrari 2014 Model]
The best in the world deserves the best car, right? Well he does. The Portuguese superstar owns a stunning Ferrari, that makes most people jealous. However, it comes at a cost, the masterpiece cost Ronaldo, reportedly, £2million pounds! Wow, that's more than most houses cost! Nonetheless, it isn't really much to a person of Ronaldo's wealth.

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
2. El Hadji Diouf [Mercedes-Benz SLR Mclaren]:
Yet another Mercedes to feature on the list, this time the SLR Mclaren. It may be a surprise to see Diouf feature on the list, considering he hasn't played at the highest level of the game for some time now! Nonetheless, the forward did in fact buy this car for a huge £420,000 pounds. Wow! So who owns the most expensive car?

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
3. David Beckham [Rolls Royce Phantom]:
Not my type of car, but I can see why others, including Mr David Beckham like it. Arguably the most marketable player in football is also probably the most well-known all over the globe. Beck's car is reportedly worth £350,000 pounds. I just don't see anything special about it?

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
4. Obafami Martins [N50M Lamborghini]:
The speed-star in real life also owns a speedy car. The forward, who used to ply his trade in the Premier League with Newcastle, owns a stunning automobile, must be earning big bucks in America to be able to afford it. The Lamborghini reportedly cost the forward a staggering quarter of a million pounds!

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
5. Frank Lampard [Ferrari 458]:
The former England and Chelsea midfielder is the first player on the list to own a Ferrari, which is surprising. Super Frank certainly knows how to ride in style, but who blames him? The midfielder's super set of wheels cost him a reported £200,000! Well you may as well spend it, if you have it.

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
6. Jermaine Pennant [Chrome Aston Martin DBS]:
Pennant is a player you'd imagine takes great pride in his car, so it's no surprise to see him own one this nice. The former Liverpool star, who spent a period in jail, owns a stunning Chrome Aston Martin which cost him a staggering £170,000 pounds. the car features in 6th spot on this list! I wouldn't be surprised if he owned another set of wheels!

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
7. Wayne Rooney [Aston Martin Vanquish S]:
Well at least the England and Manchester United captain has a good taste in cars! The striker certainly knows a good car when he sees one, and that is exactly what this Aston Martin is. It doesn't come on the cheap, as you can imagine, and it's reportedly valued at £150,000 pounds! Not that much for Rooney though, he earns double that in a week!

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
8. Didier Drogba [Mercedes SL65-AMG]:
The Chelsea legend recently returned to the London club this summer, much to the delight of the club's supporters. The forward is known for his style, which apparently also reaches out to his choice of car. The African forward has bought a stunning Mercedes for $252,00 dollars, which is around £150,000 pounds. Nice ride Didier! I think I love this ride

SportsRe: Top Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op):
9. Arda Turan [Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG]:
The Atletico Madrid playmaker is constantly linked with a move away from the Spanish champions, and here's hoping he takes his stunning car with him! Turan, who was part of Atletico's title triumph, owns a Mercedes Benz which cost the Turkish international $243,000 dollars, or £145,000 pounds! Sweet ride!

SportsTop Ten Footballers With The Most Expensive Cars by mcdreeezy(op): 8:12am On Sep 08, 2014
10. Nani [Lamborghini Gailardo LP 550-2]:
The Portuguese international just make?s the list at number 10, thanks to his £140,000 pound car. Nani has recently joined Sporting Lisbon on a season-long loan from Manchester United, and he certainly knows how to ride in style! This is a real beauty. Great taste!

dmcdad: Only Messi and Suárez? How about Ney? You know what I have come to discover? Ney is a better freekick taker than Messi and Ronaldo. That is of course going by stat (ratio of direct freekicks played to the number of times they score).

Suárez can play the more distant ones directly and he would score. Like ths one Messi played against Vilareal, the one in played inside the box. Suárez would have played that directly and it would have been dangerous close to entering the net if not a goal.

But Ronaldinho is currently the Lord! He is a far better freekick taker now than he was in his Barca days.
Wow! Are u serious about Ronaldinho? It's been long I watched him play, I gbadun dat guy die... Good to know he's still doin his thing tho
