I have over time observed that we do not have many web developers who are conversant with joomla hence i decided to start this topic to help assist my fellow webmasters who are having challenges in developing a joomla site. Lately, i have spent time more developing sites with joomla than any other web software. So i will help with other pro in the house to resolve some issues. So let's get started. Why Use Joomla? So what is this Joomla thing anyway and why should you use it to design your client's website? Joomla! is a powerful yet easy to use open source content management system to build websites. It is one of the most popular web site software available. Good open source software like Joomla! is developed and constantly improved by highly skilled individuals volunteering their time to work together for the benefit of everyone who uses the software. The source code of the software is available for everyone to examine so you can know exactly what you are getting as opposed to commercial software which is not open to scrutiny. Since the software is open many developers can create components and extensions to greatly enhance the functionality of a website. Commercial software can be very expensive to achieve the same capabilities that good open source software like Joomla! affords you. A content management system for a website is a system whereby the HTML for the pages is created dynamically by scripts run from the server as needed. You don't have multiple HTML pages sitting on the server waiting to be viewed. The content of the website is stored as text in a database and is separate from the design. This gives you the ability to create and manage much more content faster than you possibly could using static pages. You can also change the design of the site without disrupting the content and even have different 'themes' or looks for different parts of your website. Adding sections and categories along with new navigation for your site is simple. You can even reorganize your site's content handily and all content is searchable. Content management systems like Joomla! allow users to add and edit the content without needing to know HTML or have technical expertise in Web design. I have been using HostGator for a long time and have rarely recorded any dissatisfaction. I am impressed with their customer care services especially their online chatting, it has really helped me in solving my client issues at times when it matters most. Meanwhile there are still other hosting companies that i use that are as reliable as the aforementioned. |
I think its high time webmasters in nigeria began upgrading themselves because the world of web development has gone beyond what some people are flaunting here. I don't mean to discourage anyone, but i think we should become more professional in our designs and developments. Nigeria still has a very large market for web services, if we position ourselves through proper training, we will reap the benefits in the end. |

The emphasis in Luke you sited wasn't on drinking, it was on sociability to the people unlike John the Baptist who is more of an introvert and choses a solitary life. Besides, vs 34 never actually mentioned what Jesus was drinking. |
Hello Beloved, This question doesn't change my understanding of God's standard on drinking. He abhors it, Period! But i got so keen about the question when recently a new convert i was teaching approached me and demanded explanations on the subject. i soon discovered that he sell alcohol as business and takes "small" too. Now, he is willing to serve God but finds it very difficult to leave the business that took him over 7 years to learn as a trade and now has made him rich. Send your views please. |
