Valeree: I'm excited about joining dis Navy, but I cannot help noticing dat dey shortlisted very few females as candidates for the app test. Is the training really dat hard for women? Meanwhile does anybody know more about how dey like to have their women? I heard they are not allowed to wear weavon or attachments only their natural hair. Is dat true?. I know the question is dumb, I'm just excited and I will like to know more pls.

Madam nice qstn. To start wif if u make d final list, arriving in KD all girls will shine dia hair (kodo). Uld be allowed to bard evey wkend for dat 9months. Wen commissioned u can carry anyfyn on ur hair, weavon, attachments, brazilian, cotnou hair, but u can't dye ur hair as a millitary officer and u must alwz park it while on uniform, not below ur ears. Mean'n ur hair has to alwz be parked above ur ear. Success. NN is tru wif marking alrd, all those dat scored below 200 where seperated and dia files including qstns nd answers were burnt. 200 and above has bin taking NN HQ for further screening, dats wia d Oga's @d top comes in. We shuld all kip pray'n dat our files will nt be switched for 1mugu's file dat has been burnt for scoring 80\300. Peace be wif us all. (My post is from a NN exams offr) U can all also contact ur sources to confirm my info.

My Oga's we are all just argui'n. In April 2012, iwas amongs those that marked the NAF DSSC script as a Copper serving wif dem. Fine lots of names were brought in the ICT center where we were marking the scipts but there was still room for ppl dat performed highest, it took only 2days to finish marking and computing dem wif excel, the officer incharge left on the 3rd day wif all d computed scores in his Flash drive. An airman(airforce soldier)was d highest in dat center, he had a 92, his name was nt on any list but he was shortlisted and invited to KD for interview, don't knw how he ended up anyway. All am saying is thr is still room for merits, jst read hard and pray to God incase there will be any sort of exam. Iwas in d inner circle so dis is a 1st hand info.

Louis007: Guy! Pls I'v 2.2 but I mistakenly filled 2.1 and I was shortlisted. Now I can't edit. Pls what sud I do cos am scared of KOBOKO or going to JAIL. Or sud I use Correction Fluid to adjust my form. Pls reply! Onward Together!

Oga stop deceiving yourself, nobody makes such a mistake, u did it intentionally to be shortlisted. Go and face d warrant 2mao. U think say dem dey play wen dey talk say no false decleration. Enjoy whteva u meet thr 2mao. 9ija full of Ninja's, simple instuction we can't obey.

ijasada: Looks like the list or the screening excercise won't be anytime soon until our muslim brothers finish Ramadan. That's fair enough so that all can perform uptimally @ the screening excercises.

Yeah, we shuld all get ready for camping immediately after Ramamdan. Judge'n by records the NA is alrdy behind normal calender shedule.

The God dat made our names shortlisted in d NN will make us also see our Names in d NA. AMEN. Thumbs up to my Lagos ppl and if ur name is nt thr, I encourage u to still come wif ur documents on dat dai. Somefyn can still be done if u believe.

@emmanuel 4 fire, plz I have a friend dat mistekenly bought two Navy Application Pins. Incase u have any1 that is hav'n problem wit buy'n. I can send them the pin and ref.code. Wen they register, they can pay tru u.

@Calyb iwas able to edit and add my primary and secondary sch info to my alrdy submitted form. Just Log in wit ur email I.d and password, den go to update credential, jst try everytin thr, was on it for abt 20mins b4 I arrived @ a place all my info open'd and I ammended it and re-submitted and re-printed all d copies afresh.

Oga d Nigerian Navy secondary is the one @ Alakija. Dats Nigerian Navy Secondary sch OJO. Thrs no Navy secondary school @Abara road ooh. They only have Navy Officers quarters @Okoko. We've talk'd about this b4 and clearified ppl. Read old post. Goodluck.

Fuadx1: Actually there's something going on in the NAF since 4month ago-some big men have been given slots: they've submitted their lists and probably there might be another batch C camping after batch B might have passed out next month. Perhaps, it's a special commission.

My broda relax, we r much dat had same problem, dat page wasn't built well, if its a good configured website a pop up shuled have popped up to show ur pri nd second field is necessary. 9ija nd quate unprofessionalism in everytin. Na dia headache be dat. For d site to accepte my application wifout indicating I haven't filled my pri nd second field den I tink its nt dat necessary. Afterrall there are ppl that will not even buy d form or do any online stress nd wifout writting any exam but will still be shortlisted abi dem get 2head ni? For 9ija na poor man dey suffer pass. anienwe: Dear all, we should not be supprised at d delay in releasing d DSSC/SSC list. Same happened two years ago. D list was finally released 2-3 months after closure of d submision. My brothers and sisters, a lot of things usually happen expecially once it exceeds one month after closure. My small army oga ( a Major in d dept of MS) den told me d following: at that point, what happen is adding and deleting of names (who is who comes into play here): long list from all quarters including top senators, ex presidents, some mighty civilians in Nigeria etc. At that point some army ogas becos of d fact dat dey do not want to step on toes and to get early retirement give up at dis stage. Some applicants even do not fill d online form but stil get shortlisted with special numbers. U can check d 2011 list for confirmation. Its just God. I have a friend who made it dat year. He told me point blank dat if I do not have a Major Gen on appointment and on his slot I should forget it, except if God is interested in ur case. Infact, dis is my 7th year in dis race. I have facts and d experience is dere. Thank God dat I have made dis years course. At dis point I will sincerely recommend dat we keep reminding our contacts and be prayerful as well. Good luck all NLs dat applied.

Broda plz u guyz should stop speculating info's u not sure about. This is not a trend for jokes we are serious ppl here. If u can't give ur source don't keep it to yourself, not everybody here is jobless to go and start preaparing for a test without being sure of what they are preparing for. Plz take your jokes to some other social ntwk trends, thr are so many ppl interested in your jokes out thr. To start with we don't even know the Test Center or state or anyfyn. If there would be anyfyn of such it would have been stated earlier while applying. Which us all success whenever the list is out.

emmanuel4fire: Take a bus going to Mile 2 festac side. From Mile 2 take another bus going to Agbara-okoko. Tell them to alight you at Navy secondary school after Okoko before Afro junction. If you have any issue let me know. That's my examination centre too.

From mile2 take a bus going to Iyanobo\Volks or Barracks, tell d conductor u will stp @ Alakija, wen u stp cross d road over to d other side and jst pick a bike going to Navy town, u can aswell just walk down to Navy twn from d bus-stop, its nt far, walk straight down u will see d Navy town gate. The NN secondar school is inside Navy town barracks.
@oga dat posted directions b4, the Navy unit @ Okoko is just dia residential, d secondary school is in Navy town, Its even stated while u were filling d form Nigerian Navy secondary sch navy town, lagos. Fellow Nairalanders, I've bin following this trend for about 3months now, I love our Faith and optimism but has anyone in this forum ever thought of the fact that what if God has a different plan other than the Millitary for him\her? Will we be disappointed or heart broken come nxt wk the list is realeased and your name aint thr? We might have a very strong passion for something but God our creator knows all, so I urge u my brothers and sisters not to be dissappointed or feel God doesn't answer prayers or didn't hear your prayers when d list is out and ur name aint thr, Just believe God for his words in Jer.1:5, Jer 29:11. Lately I've bin reasearching on this Topic... Accepting Gods plan for our life.For his plans might be totally different from our dreams, totally different from our careers. I urge all of us to medidate on Jer.29:11"For I know the plans I have for you declares the lord, plans to prosper you and nt to harm u, plans to give u hope and a future. 2ndly.............. If we so have a passion for this job and were told by a prophet of God or directly by vision from God, we can still talk to God for he is a friend, negotiate wit him, cry to him, tell him ur reasons y u love d job so much... Jst like Hezekiah cry'd to God in II Kings 20:1-11 wen Prophet Isaiah told him the Lord says he shuld prepare his household for he is going to die, he will not recover from his sickness... He cryed to God and gave God reasons y God shuld spare him and God re-visited Prophet Isaiah that he shuld go back to Hezekiah and tell him his prayers has bin answered that he will heal him and add more 15years to his life and also deliver him from the hand of king Assyria.
