Mmaobey:Bro I think the delay on issuing study visa is globally. I applied for study visa on the 4th of Dec in South Africa Embassy in Abu-Dhabi and was told 3 to 6wks, but worse case scenario is 8wks processing time but it hardly gets to that. Fortunately or unfortunately my passport is going into the 7th week still no word from the embassy. This is an embassy that processes visit visa in 3days max. I was told when I called that every study permit has to come from home affairs back in RSA before the embassies can act. Let’s hope for the best, I assure you are not alone. Please let’s us know when you receive yours so we can follow up with ours. |

Please guys, I am in need of advice from experienced people with SA embassy. I want to apply for a study permit to enable me complete my pilot training in SA, I already have my private pilot license, only going for my commercial pilot license. My issue is I have been made redundant from work for 5months now but I have physical cash to cover my training in SA. This money is not in my bank account as it is cash I recently received from selling a piece of my land. If I lodge such an amount into my account it will definitely be seen as ingenuin fund. My wife is currently working with the government and has her steady salary coming in but don’t have a good balance. 1- Do I pay the money into my wife’s account and have her transfer it into my account then I can say my wife is sponsoring me with proofs of her transfer to me since she has a very good job, with her salary certificate she is good enough to be my sponsor. 2. Do I just lodge money into my account and explain source. Would they expect to see cash flow from someone that has been made redundant from his job for 5months? 3. Any other general suggestions please advise a brother. |

Hello house, I arrived dubai safely presently am somewia around Al-maatina by macapollo hotel nt sure of d spell'ns. To my greatest surprise d immigratns nd airport officials @d nigerian airport were all so nice to me and even pray'n for me afta I told dem hw long I've bin seek'n for a job afta graduation. Thanks ya"all for all the advice and well wishes, my special thanks goes to Hugochris, Sis Justi4jesu, OgaK, Comedian Henrimoto and every other member of this thread included honorable members of the Women affairs ministry in Dubai which Henrimoto seams to be their President cos he was very interested in that topic and even offered 24/7 customer care services on issues related to Women affairs in Dubai Looolz. Am rly excited am leaving to a new country finally, i know no matter how rough it might seam in the beginning it will still be better compared to what we face here in Nigeria. My advice to every other jobless graduate on this thread is never to give up on their dreams. Just kip holding on to the master and he will make everything perfect in his own time. But my friend over thr in Dubai said I shuld send him my air ticket booking that they have to send it to d immigration and drop a copy at the airport. Y is it so? Most d links drop'd on d thread r for dubai visa. And d entry permit code is different, this starts wit 301 . |

Iwas in Naf base PH den, but iwas working wif a private charter airline @d base thr so I rly didn't pay attn, but can remember 1monday morn'n in April iwas driv'n out nd saw crowd nd later heard they wrote dia exam d sat, was y I assumed itwas 1wk last year. Ma broda's thrs nofyn in Short Service, I have a very Lazy Friend dat was commissioned last year, till 2dai even as an officer he is still very lazy, no endurance.if he can make it I say anybody can make it. Fine the aim is to kill d civillian blood in u doesn't mean u cnt stand it. For d 3.2km run all we nid is constant practice, I started train'n since April and nw I can confortably do 4km on my threadmill in 20mins,which a serving Army officer dat is my friend can't do.
