standupguy: Include the name of your co sponsor on it and then he must write on it that he is supporting your sponsor to send you abroad. Then he should sign and then state his relationship with you and your sponsor. Note you will need his copy of passport and business document as well... |

Pls ur adviceThe balance shouldn't necessarily need to be 100million... Here is the breakdown... If your sponsors SOA closing balance reads 5 or 3 million it is ok for you for first year of your study. But taking the inflow of cash in the statement of account into consideration. If the inflow of cash reads 200 to 800 thousand naira monthly in the SOA then shows closing balance of 3million as at the date submitted to Vo; you are good to go. Some1 that earns 500000 monthly in business is capable of saving 4million naira for your next year of study in school. That is the logic 4 Likes |

degreat11: affidavit of support is not the issue here, the reason for the denial was insufficient fund, if there is any issue regarding that the VO would av ask for another docs to that effect. the main reason for the denial was using a registered limited liability company as his SOA.Yea that also could be possible |

larrswag: no he didn't swore an affidavit of support,i only submitted a sponsorship letter, he only stated in the letter that my father helped him to become successful,so he decides to do that to me, well the SOA IS genuine no fraud.sir hope you would pinpoint where my problem is fromHe must sworn and affidavit of support for you with a court stamp or a lawyers signature on it.I will try and send you a copy of one. Let me tell something , try and check all your filled form and your sop with your documents. Is there anything you have mentioned or stated that is not among the documents packaged to visa office? People don't know that what ever you mention in the form filled and written in your sop must have a proof. That is why you don't mention what you don't have on your visa application form. |

sawyersam: Goodmorning house, wanna ask the following questionsIf u are applying for an undergraduate studies you don't need any employment letter considering your age. But if you are above 20yrs you must state the reason for the gap in your education and what you have been doing since you finish your waec. 2.the birth certificate must be authentic not just written with pen, I mean it must show 100% authenticity. 3. Since you are being given admission by the proposed school of choice then I don't think they still verify results because the school must have done that before they decide to accept you. But as per SOA and other document I guess they do thorough checking a on that that is why applications take more time to be determined. 4.wether casual or temporary employment , work experience is work experience and it's an added advantage to your application. But most people that goes for undergraduate program don't necessarily need employment paper considering there age. But try and explain in your sop your education history and no lie in it. |

larrswag: please fellows, i have been denied TRV because of insufficient fund, actually i only used my sponsor's document,16m SOA, business certificate,sponsorship letter, board resolution letter because it's a limited company and letter from the bank. i want to know what i missed to include because am planning to use the same sponsor again, my parents dosen't have enough fund to act as my sponsor and moreover my sponsor is not really our family friend he just volunteerd to help. abeg mak una help me oo! na una i depend on.1.Did your sponsor sworn an affidavit stating he will be responsible for your tuition fee and all other expenses? 16million is enough 2. Did you write a good SOP and stated you are coming back to Nigeria after your study? 3. Were all the things your sponsor stated in the Affidavit originally documented? 4. Did you state the relationship or prove your relationship with your sponsor properly? 5. Was the statement of account really genuine or forged? All his sponsor needs to do is to write a letter that states that the money in the fixed deposit is for the applicant. 'kapish...I'm only saying my own opinion and I don't expect it to work for everybody... This visa processing of thing depends on the mood of those going through it. Note: I am not saying applicants here should not look for a strong SOA but do not lie on your SOA and SOP because what ever you write on your sop must have a backup documents... I can see someone saying he/she paid 2600dollarz for tuition part payment and on Sop he wrote she has 20,000dollars for his or her study budget in account... You must provide a backup document for that.. Pls and pls ignorance is sin in the eyes of the visa people ooo.... |

pchax: Hello,The only thing is if your dad states it on tha affidavit of support that the 12m in the fixed. Deposit is meant for your schooling that is the only way the Vo can be conviced but if it's not stated on AOS then go tell your dad to make it real on his SOA sharp sharp. |

MrArams: Ma'am, did ur siblings both use a single SOA of 2m or SOA of 2m each? what level of program did they go for and what other docs was submitted to boost their chances apart from the SOP. One can't be too sure if it was only the SOP that did d job.SoA of 2million each and it's a salary account that shows cash flows of 500k every month. Visa officers need to see how cash enters because some accounts can show 10million and after checking they u will find out that the ten million just got in three month before the submission. If you want to use an account make sure the account is an account the money enters regularly at lease every month with the minimum balance of 200k. You can use SOA of 2million with no wahala. 1 Like |

Kepner: Hi@kepner if you are a fresh graduate then state it in your SOP, and in the visa form. You can tell in you sop that you have just finished and you do not want to waste time. Pls do not lie on your sop ... That is why I said your document is just the backup for your sop..Sop is what the visa read most to see how intelligent you are and if they find out you are not so much convincing and serious then you are on your own. 1 Like |

2.If you are yet to submit your documents just make sure you submit the document required by the Canadian embassy. I believe for you to get a visa you must have gotten your Admission letter: which b4 you are being given you must have forwarded your certificate, transcript, Birthcertificate, WAECresult +Scratchcard, which the school applied to must have made verifications before accepting you. 3. For visa I will like to tell everyone that SOP which means STATEMENT OF PURPOSE carries almost the same percentage of attention with Your sponsors documents. Here is it. For you to win the Vo's mind or who ever is assessing the documents, you must specify who you are? according to the documents you have submitted, what you do and what you like doing? Why you have chosen Canada as a place to study, NOTE there must be a sign of sincerity and convincing statement in what you write in you SOP because after reading it , it,s what will decide the Vo's judgement even if you don't have strongSOA. Let them know that you just want to come and study to gain more international knowledge as a leverage in getting a better job in your country. Let them know you are not going to be a problem at all and you can survive in the country, even you can go as long as stating how productive you are and how their country can benefit from your productivity? They also want to know if you have a work experience in the proposed course of study as well. These things are what they want to see and not how rich you or your sponsors are. Your intelligence and skill is needed not your financial flamboyance. My brother and my sister got visa with a statements of account of just 2million naira and they both got their visa within a month and few days. We are not as rich as Dangote but they wrote an SOP that is superb. And they now told me that that is what helped them that Canada need serious minded people and skilled productive as well. 8 Likes 2 Shares |
