konami001:
My brothers and sisters, greetings to all.

I am having a challenge with my xiaomi redmi 5 plus. The bottom side of the phone with earphone fell into a cup with little water inside,2days ago. I quickly removed it and wiped it off. Then to be safe, I put it inside uncooked rice for some hours.

I tried to put it on yesterday and its showing blank and does not come up. If i press power and volume up, the screen lights up but does not go further and the light goes off.... if I plug it to charge, the charging light comes on..

Please, I need ideas on what to do and how or where to repair. I am grateful for any advice.

leaving a device that has been socked in water inside bag of rice for few hours is not ideal, when such a thing happens live it for a day,its a gradual process that requires patience. Phones ve complex components that re well clustered together,to ensure thorough result in those hidden areas.

the only thing stopping me from getting a newer version is price as my budget is small, so that was why i opted for rn3 and also GODMADEMAN once posted about having a rn3 for sale that was why i was considering buying it from him based on my budget, so i dont know weather you can help me with his details, thanks and dont be angered for the disturbances, thanks once more.

u better listen to what the wise re saying. Get a more recent phone that ure sure to get the replacement parts nd accessories if need be in time to come, not some old device that has lost its place in history. Ure case will soon be like that fellow who's searching for mi 4 touch pad/calibrator.

genius43:
The difference in the process is everything 12nm for the G90T compared to the 8nm of the SD 730.

Yea I will go for the Mi 9T over this too

its not only the manufacturing process thats at play , mtk is a known power guzzler, when things goes awry with the temperature ,it tends to throttle overall performance. M not surprised xiaomi didnt hesitate to throw in the heat pipe, imagine MTK going for gaming chipset, the internals will be fire

seaboyzen:
Redmi Note 8 Pro:

- 4500mAh large battery
- liquid cooling system
- double protection
- game performance
- Helio G90T

seems like this device will ve notch display afterall nd with just 500mah battery increment, which is still on par with the mi9t or the mi9t myt even surpass it with efficiency when ure to consider their on-board chipset. Mi 9t is still a better buy.

What can the burna note buy? Or is it just another waste of wood pulp?

I remember when I got my R7. Went to a relatively big phone shop and asked for Redmi 7. The security guard directed me to one lady. Told her what I'm looking for.. You needed to see the look on her face. She directed me to another lady (higher staff) who knows what's up. She told me straight up they don't have it. I was wondering what if I had asked for Xiaomi (pronounced shiaomi)? Her ear for block.

naso dem for direct u reach aso rock parlour.funny women

solid3:
MTN customer care just told me Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is not a 4G phone therefore I can't use my bonus data.

What should I do?

preach the gospel to the fellow, with xiaomi all things re possible

Gptech:
There will likely be a snapdragon version as usual.

now ure talking just like our beloved note 4. I dont blame xiaomi though, they just have to make with the latest Soc available.

nani667:
I have never even used the Gcam on my device once... Na just casual dust chopper

As long as custom ROMs dey, we no get problem

u need to be worried o, imei modders will erase ur phone footprints from the surface of the earth that means no tracking, mi lock bypassing, its known fact that mtk chipset deteriorates with time or what do u think will happen? Well to me i will ve to skip this note series this time around.

genius43:
Xiaomi X MediaTek.

The way u asked ur question is kinda weird, but in the case u dont ve a PC,get a pen drive with USB OTG adapter nd copy the game from ur phone to the console.

BoleAndFish:

KingStefan:
Your looks nice, and shows he has great care.
But he's not a GSD. Since you bought him as a puppy, you should have asked for parents even though some sellers do lie.
This dog obviously shows he's a mixed breed. The breeds in him I can't say but I'm certain he's not GSD. GSDs don't come in fawn colours, that's not standard and it has never appeared in the breed before.
I'm speaking according to the SV breed standard which is the number one GSD registry worldwide.
Take care of the dog regardless. But for future, try to often ask for parents pix before buying a puppy. It helps you and also speak to people who really understand the breed you're planning to go into.

u can say whatever u like, ur opinion does not matter. That dog is a gsd.
