ddippset:I see Penaldo staking a front seat in that record (UCL) than god-Messi.. Why? Penaldo is a CF that relies on assists and dubious penalties (when was the last time he scored a free kick sef? ) while our man is an AMF who spoon feeds others and score amazing goals that are by products of solo runs. |

LFP considers paying tribute to Messi... at the Bernabéu! http:///1pMhDO6 ![]() Some mofos will shit in their pants.. |
sebod:You can take the hippopotamus from the swap, but can't take the swamp away from it. |
homesteady:I think you're right. Watching Alexis in arsenal reeks of pity. Dude has spiralled downwards and fast.. Can't even take on a single player in a one-on-one like before. Such a shame! |
Great game it was. Despite Messi's profligacy in front of goal, the score line was decent. Pique? Thanks to the squad depth/competition for starting berth, dude has woken up. Has had a good season so far with the few games he's played. |
Eruditor: I don't see how the inept coach does not take the blame for yesterday's fiasco. Luis Enrique was tactically outclassed and he would suffer similar fate when he faces other equally tactically adept managers like Laurent Blanc. For example, if Cesc and Mourinho get this Barca in the KO stages they would have y'all for breakfast.I share your sentiments bro. I'm with you here. |
barackohandso: There is ohCheeky goals, they've been. ![]() |
dmcdad: Messi has 7 assists in the league and not 6. He was on 5 before yesterday's game. ![]() I was right after all. ![]() |
cahnellven: Hello bro,how much will it cost to send an item(battery) weighing 60grams and costing less than #2k,from lagos to benin.thanksHello sir, how're you? For the item in question, the charge is N2‚000 ‚ but I believe you want some discount on the deal. Do contact me sir to talk it up. Thanks. |
Yahoo1: I'm still surprised Messi has only scored 4goals diz season, dat may b down 2 his new role.....dat goes 2 show d standard we expect of him.Add his assists too. He has 6‚ the highest in the league, followed closely by Koke with 5. |
sameer1212: i agree with some of ur point bt ma'am hv u ever consider messi outside barca team? Now, imagine/consider Ronaldo to have played for Stoke city or Everton in the EPL, and him playing now in the Liga with Deportivo LaCorona... this whole yap about Messi playing his entire career in one team is so stale and dumb, I wonder what runs through people's minds when they say that. Xavi and Iniesta have played their entire career in one club(won it all for club and country) and even the least football fan would consider them front runners for their generation, if not the very best midfielders of this age. Same with great players like Scholes and Maldini. Seedorf won the UCL with 3 teams, does that make him greater than Xavi who's won same number with one team, FCB? Ronaldo is a great player, no doubt. Using the fact he scored and achieved a lot in England and threading similar path in Spain now doesn't edge him over Messi. Not a chance in hell. He played with great players who supported him at United and still enjoy same or even greater support now at Madrid. Your point can only be valid had he played for a Spurs/mid table club in the EPL and moved to a club like Getafe; enjoying individual brilliance and success while Messi remains at FCB all the while. |
dmcdad: It would have been a discretional decision from Neymar and not anyone else. That is, it would be between the both of em. Any agreement between them would suffice. The whole essence is to give reward to the player who's influence (goals, assist , work rate etc) impacted the game the most. In a goal fest like today, and with L10 sharing equal number of goals and registering assists alongside, the bookies would give it to him. Like you said, it's just traditional but then, there are principles guiding every tradition. |
usbcable: ds ya comment shows you dont watch RM.You know I do, that's why I'm objective. ![]() |
sebod: Pls if Baba scores hatrick, who will go home with the ball?Had L10 bagged a hat trick as well, he'd have been adjudged with the ball; he gave two assists. ![]() |
dmcdad: Yeah... That's the new tactics employed by Carlo.. Used it in their last match and it worked fine for him, and I guess he might stick with it, or use it as an alternate plan.Long past his days as a winger a la Manure... Penaldo has been a center forward since penning for Mad-rid. ![]() |
mcdreeezy: This pic might exaggerate a little but it's not far from the truth... Penaldo fans won't agree thoYou go fear na.. You'd think he is an animal they are all chasing for the kill. |
liveLongNprospa: 25 hattricks makes u very very very very(feel free to add more) great oo my brotherDraw up a list of the clubs he bagged those hat tricks against, and I'll tell you how little such achievements are taken into aaccount, and how easy it is for anybody in his shoes to achieve such a feat. |
mcfarlin: fact is ronaldo has a better record i.e higher goal scoring ratio in el classicoTwo brief pointals for you: 1. Messi has played one Classico less than Penaldo but have a dominant stat still of goals scored. 2. Half the goals scored by Penaldo are from the copa games featuring Basket-Pinto, a second choice, less than average goalie. Compare that to Messi's 19 against WC winning Casillas during his prime years. |
barackohandso: I don't agree with thisSeriously, take away the goals and you look at him again. He's just a regular Joe like other hard training players. Do you know one of the reasons Messi got voted WPOTY even in years some biased football fans think he doesn't deserve it; it is because of his all round contributions. He bangs in goals and spoon feed more clear cut chances to his team mates every other game. One of many reasons it's stupid to say Messi is good is good because he has Xavi and Iniesta; because, in the real sense of it, those guys became good because they had a Messi in their team(he creates more assists than the two of them put together every season ) Look at the WC finals for instance, had his team mates converted the begging chances he created, would they not have won? I mean, Argentina created more chances than Germany, but were less composed in front of goal. Messi and Penaldo are flagships for their generation, but the former is a class act above the latter by several miles. There are several things Messi can do on the pitch that penaldo can't, but there's nothing the latter can do, that the former can't do. |
legalwealth: Nice one!Highly recommended! !!Thanks sir. You're appreciated. |

Great game and lovely execution by the team in yesterday's match. Even though it was against a weak opposition that was reduced in number, I loved what I watched. Few pointals; 1. Neymar is gradually realizing his potentials in the Blaugrana colours, although he keeps wasting goals that are glaring. His goal pouching instinct and ball rolling is superb. 2. The telephonic understanding between Messi and Neymar grows with each passing game. We can only expect more. 3. With as many assists as possible (over 70% of our goals so far coming from Messi), we're gradually understanding why he covers less distance on the e pitch since the middle of last season. He's now officially an offensive midfielder and shouldn't be judged by number of goals scored anymore, but by the sumptuous assists he delivers week in, week out. THE BEST EVER! ![]() 4. Rakitic? 5. Mathieu was very sloppy yesterday and gave away possession so often especially in dangerous positions. 6. 5 games played, no goals conceded! ![]() |
John57: This past week I've tried watching the following seriesPower, Tyrant? Boring you said? |
Johnnny: Deportivo la coruna should just go back to the segunda.Like seriously, those guys were shhit! The goalkeeper deserves to be shot for the cheeky goals he conceded. |
