You people will just throw baseless facts around with nothing to support it. How many GS dog's age do you survey in Nigeria, before this conclusion?

This is a throw back story going down the memory lane.....the marriage has already produced 3 kids and we have been progressively moving from one level to a higher level
RomanceRe: See What Moved Me To Get Married. by McLizbae: 6:42pm On Oct 15, 2025
What about her own parents, what is your plans for them? Is she really awear and ready for this caregiving job you are subtly enrolling her into?

All this questions must be faithfully answered to ensure the safety of your marriage.

Unless you are moving in with your parents or bringing them into your new home, you will only be able to do less in see and taking care of them. This is because your marriage is an added responsibility (including significant financial responsibilities) that will keep you tied down (otherwise the marriage is also endangered).

My advise, suspend that marriage until you are sure that you are financially strong enough to fund caregivers for your parents and still run your own household as a married man.
EducationRe: Admissions: Mathematics No Longer Compulsory For Arts Students, Says FG by McLizbae: 6:21am On Oct 15, 2025

malali:
Mathematics Is a Lifeline, Not a Luxury

Dropping Mathematics as a requirement for arts and humanities students may look like inclusion, but in reality, it’s intellectual disarmament.

Math isn’t just about numbers. It’s the language of logic, structure, and critical thinking, the very foundation of coherent thought, debate, and disciplined reasoning that the humanities thrive on.

Every field, from economics, law, and linguistics to philosophy and music, is quietly underpinned by mathematical reasoning: pattern, proportion, structure, rhythm, and evidence-based argument.

To remove Math is to unplug an entire generation from analytical literacy. You may raise enrollment figures, yes, but you lower the nation’s cognitive baseline.

If Nigeria truly wants to compete globally, we should be strengthening Mathematics education, not treating it as optional for those “not gifted with numbers.” That mindset fuels mediocrity.

Great civilizations didn’t grow by lowering the bar, they rose by raising competence and investing in skill mastery.

malali:
While nations like China are not only making Mathematics compulsory but also integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics into their basic curriculum, Nigeria is moving in the opposite direction.

In an era defined by automation, data, and machine learning, the decision to remove Mathematics as a core requirement for arts and humanities students is not reform, it’s regression. It signals a government more concerned with inflating admission statistics than preparing citizens for the demands of the future.

Mathematics is not about turning everyone into an engineer; it’s about teaching logic, precision, and structured problem-solving, skills essential in every discipline, from law to economics to literature.

Frankly, it’s shocking that Dr. Tunji Alausa, someone who lived and worked in the United States, would endorse a move this shortsighted. If he attempted this in the American system he came from, he would be forced to resign by morning.

Education policy should be about building competence, not lowering standards for easy applause. Removing mathematics doesn’t make education more inclusive, it makes it less competitive and ensures that Nigerian graduates will struggle to keep pace in a world run by algorithms, not sentiments.

If they didn't do the work, how comes that the students are graduated?
Considering that we are talking about the typically lawless and careless government of Nigeria, I thing you should seek the true narratives before you get emotional with judgemnets.
I f I must go on a laim judgemnet, ASUU is the victim here. FG is notorious for victimizing common Nigerians.
Chucks13:
Can you specify which arrears? From which govt? Arrears of what? They went on strike during Buhari everybody begged them to resume they refused but now want Tinubu to pay arrears of work they deliberately refused to do and to you its fine ba? If I'm Tinubu I won't pay it let heaven I won't pay it let them go to Katsina where Buhari was buried and ask him to pay the arrears. Ok.
TravelRe: Travelling To Ghana By Road Next Week, Advise Me by McLizbae: 10:51am On Oct 14, 2025
Well done
SmartPolician:
No, you don't need a yellow card. You can travel with NIN if you are traveling in commercial bus. However, the delays are higher when you travel with your NIN and faster when you have your Nigerian passport.

Xpgroove, note that your Nigerian MTN will stop working the moment you get to Cotonou. You should buy a Ghanian SIM card once you get to Aflao. I think it's about 70 Ghana Cedis. That will enable you roam your Nigerian MTN line and stay active on WhatsApp while in Ghana.

Please note that things are by far cheaper in Nigeria than in Ghana. The Cedis just have numerical strength but economically useless. So, get ready to change tons of naira into Cedis at the Seme border or at Chisco terminal at Circle.

That's why you should get your to and fro tickets if you know for sure the day you are coming back because if you spent 100k going to Ghana, you will spend 150k coming back to Nigeria. That's because their currency no get economic value. And you have to pay in Cedis in Accra while coming back.

Please use an organised transport company like GUO, Chisco or GIG. Their fare covers everything you will need to tip border control and policemen. Enjoy your visit!

PoliticsRe: If You Know The Cost Of A Kilometre Of Road Construction, Your Head Will Burst by McLizbae: 2:47pm On Oct 08, 2025
Regardless, it must be estimable. You can use the costliest senerios.
Image123:
The cost per kilometer of a 750km project cannot be determined. It can only be estimated or averaged. And conditions may change. This is not building a kiosk or chicken hutch. The terrain and soils are different. Some will need more work or fillings, some different contractors, some will be bridge. Cost of materials and labour from place to place, weather, some diversions, some unexpected challenges, all differ.
We should focus on intelligence, professionalism and patriotism instead of theatrics and media trials.

Marriage is supposed to be a challenging adventure, especially when it comes with kids. As a man, you are ready to lead and charge to head a generation of humans shaped by your tenets and principles, where you will also continue to reflect. Achieving this comes with more than just 10 written battles, but unique situations and challenges that can only be surmounted by resolute determination and the requisite loyalty and support from the woman.
