Thank you so much. I have learned my lesson from the money investment with access management institutions. The progressive loss in value of naira is the major risk with this systems. Even though the money keeps increasing, the value is truly not. I like the Keke business you added. Can you please suggest such a company that can manage it, because I dare not enter into that in person again! PS: I think the staff (my niece) is doing a great job. I am certain that the stocks and sales are accurate based on my frequent audits. Except for supernatural doings, I can confidently say the family in charge here is actually doing very well at her station. If I had taken an outsider staff, I may not be getting what I even get so far, considering higher pay that will go into the staff salary before we start dealing with possible theft and fraud. ADVERTBOARD: The return on investment is not only poor but suicidal(business collapse is not far). There are a lot surrounding businesses that a family member is in charge but I won't go into that.
I will advise you recoup all your money since you stated above it is possible to recoup all the 6m naira and close down the business, then invest in VFD Microfinance Bank at 23% a year Roi, you may also use Moniepoint Microfinance Bank and get 18% ROI upfront for a 9 Months fixed deposit, another is StanbicIbtc mutual fund at 17.5% which compounds your interest quarterly.
If you also want to invest in Tricycle (Keke), you will put down 4m to get 2m profit in 15months or invest 7m to get 11m in 12months without you bothering about its daily activities because it will be managed by a popular company.
Buying gold and keeping for few years to resell is another money spinner.
In all you do, remember inflation is real and you need to think of investment that yields high returns.
There are still more but let me stop here.[qqquote author=McLizbae post=137208122]I am really confused. As much as there is no loss so far, I actually feel like the return is quite smaller than what I have anticipated. I don't know if I can say the sales in moving at any good rate too. But I am certain that there are no loss to any theft or fraud yet. I actually have the opportunity to liquidate the business and get my capital back anytime from now, particularly, when the rent expire. But I am not sure if that is the right decision to take. Especially when considering that this goods may actually be holding some value on the money... I really need more expert advise😢 |

Hello guys, thank you for your contributions in advance.
My current job takes me on frequent travels across states in the southwest, north central, and north eastern regions of the country, and I bearly spend more than 3 months in a state. Considering 1. God's constant safety on the journeys, 2. the age that is mercilessly pounding on, and 3. my company obviously struggling to stay afloat, which is making the pay less sustaining, it is necessary for me to establish something I can fall back to in a near future, particularly for support and sustainance.
So, I have decide to open a shop and start selling some phone accessories and portable rechargeable devices, and the show has been running since February this year, in Ibadan.
All expense that started the business can be put together at 6M. This included: 1. Rent, 2. money spent on modifying the shop to specifically improve security of the goods 3. money spent on good supply including the good supplied by my homeboy and brother, on credit to boost my young business 4. tax and dues 5. one staff 25k/month. The one staff is a trusted family (my niece, a fresh graduate). She actually got involved in the all plan accidentally. When I realized that I will need a staff, I put out an advert, and find out that the least I can pay a staff in my area is 45k. I was gisting my sister at her place and this girl just cut into our talk and offered she will move over to my place and start running the shop while still planning her career move. In short she'll only need enough to cover here basic expenses which she also estimated at 25k/month. Well, with her parents approval, she's been running the shop since May.
So to the main part where I need opinions: I have some little training on the business and I have reduced my prices as much as possible to gain traction in the business, which is also competitive in my area. I have restock twice with the fund solely from the business. I have also been doing my calculations on monthly basis and I am not taking any money from the business yet. After all expenses (stated earlier on monthly basis) I have been getting between 50 - 60k per month. As an experienced business man/woman, please, how can you say this is going?
Poor? Just okay? Good? Great? |

You are right about that. The status of children born or cradling when we are already an adult, is one significant physical even that shows us where we really are in life in terms of age and status. Ignoring those signs and never making the necessary and timely changes to our status, attributes, and general doings, often lead to shame and disgrace. Like me, when you see a child you taught in primary school, now celebrating degrees, you must adjust and reevaluate your status. You are only trying to win an argument here. See that you have subtly switch yourself to the tenant and not the landlord (as designated in this case). As the landlord you normally won't put in the agreement with your tenants, details of how they will use the rooms in the house. But you must agree that you won't be happy if anyone misuse your institution. A lot of things are not written in ABC in the Bible. But with the spirit of God in you, you should know that that is sinful or not. The Bible did not made any statement about Yahoo Yahoo, money laundering, illicit drug running, gun and other arms running, stripping, pimping, and many more. But, a true Christian will understand and clearly decern that these are sinful. SpencerForbes: We humans made it so not God. In some part of Nigeria where they live in mud, they still do it and no one sees it as a sin. City life made it so. Even at that, I can decide to build a fire place in my sitting room and if the landlord never gave me warning not to then it’s justified.
Before you enter any house, the landlord will give you rules which you can follow and even the care taker will tell you what the landlord likes but in the case whereby the landlord and the caretaker never said anything about a fireplace and I go ahead to build it. Can you say I committed a crime🤔 🚶♂️ |

I assume you read those Bible verses. So, let me ask you: when you build a beautiful apartment and rent it out to a tenant. Even not explicitly written otherwise in the agreements, how would you feel when you get to find out that the tenant has been cooking in bedroom despite a well furnished kitchen, and bathing in the kitchen despite the fitted bathroom. You'll feel bad right? Thats because its immoral for the tenant to do so, even though these were not in the agreements. Thats kind of how this is... SpencerForbes: Show me specifically the one that mentioned anal sex🤔 |
Christianity Etc › Re: To What Extent Are Christian Couples Allowed To Explore Sex? by McLizbae: 10:41am On Oct 19, 2025 |
All the spiritual and scriptural laws that guide us as christians, can not be explicitly written in any book. It will be so voluminous no one will be able to pick such book, read, and comprehend. That is where the ministrations of the Holy Spirit comes in as the divine help and guide. John 14: 26, John 16: 13. Now, These are just few of the verses that speaks to sexual morality, in the new testaments. With inspiration of the spirit of God, you may under the immoralities in sex even in marriage. 1 Corinthians 6, 18-20 1 thessalonians 4, 3-5 Ephesians 5, 3-5 Galatians 5, 19-21 SpencerForbes: Thanks 🙏 now state where in the “new testaments” where we have the laws of sex🤔 🚶♂️ |

Christianity (being like the Christ) is the true doctrine for christians. Forget church pickup your Bible (the book of laws) read with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and you will know the laws that guide you (and all true Christians) in sexuality and every ways of life to righteousness. SpencerForbes: Okay. So did the law of sex come after Christianity🤔 Or what are you trying to say? Who wrote this laws? Even some of your doctrines in church? |
Christianity Etc › Re: To What Extent Are Christian Couples Allowed To Explore Sex? by McLizbae: 9:56am On Oct 19, 2025 |

Congratulations bro. Freelane33: When My Guy Snitched: How God Saved Me
You never really know who your true friends are until wahala knocks on your door. That’s something I learned the hard way.
It all started back in Lagos, 2022. Hustle was tough, and everybody was looking for a way to make ends meet. Me and my homeboy, Tega, had been rolling together since secondary school — same hood, same dreams, same hunger. We used to say, “We go make am together, no matter how.”
I was doing small online work — freelance gigs, crypto trading, sometimes flipping accounts for commission. It wasn’t always straight, but it wasn’t exactly bad either. Just street survival, you know? But somehow, one small mistake almost landed me behind bars.
One day, Tega hit me up. “Bro, I get connect for one foreign job. Big money involved. You fit run some transactions for me?”
Normally, I no dey touch anything suspicious again — I’d already told God I was done with anything shady. But the way things were going, I was tempted. Still, something inside told me chill.
So I told Tega no.
Next thing I know, two weeks later, EFCC agents pulled up at my gate early morning — loud knocks, black vans, bulletproof vests. Before I could even say ‘wetin dey happen?’, they burst in shouting my name like they rehearsed it.
They searched everything. Phone, laptop, even my prayer journal. Apparently, someone mentioned my name in connection to a “financial fraud network.”
Guess who? Tega.
He had gotten caught, and to save himself, he gave them my name — said I was the one handling “the back-end.” My guy. My brother. My day one.
I spent two days in EFCC custody. No food, no sleep, just pure fear. They kept showing me screenshots, transactions I’d never seen in my life. I told them I was innocent, but who believes that story in Nigeria?
Then something miraculous happened. The lead investigator called me aside. He said, “Your name came up, but the evidence doesn’t tie back to you. Someone is lying — and it’s not you.”
Turns out, one of the accounts Tega used was traced directly to his own BVN. His lies backfired. They released me that evening, no charges filed.
When I stepped out into the street, the evening air felt like freedom itself. I didn’t even go home straight — I just stood outside, looked up, and whispered, “God, thank you. You really saved me. Share your own story my brother : |
