In the reality that I know, considering same capacity, I lithium battery with buy 3 to 4 (regular brand) sealed lead acids. How much is 200/220 ah battery for lead acid and lithium in your area pls? lemoma: The price is not much but higher than tubular batteries
1 lithium battery of same capacity will remain alive while you've changed tubular for like 3 times or more depending on the brand & luck |
Properties › Re: Benefits Of Using Solar Panels At Home by McLizbae: 11:46am On May 22, 2025 |
Sell the tubular batteries and get sealed lead-acid batteries. A good one will give you at least 4-5 years. No emissions too. Skyfornia: You are right, but remember maintenance, though it's still cheaper.
I fill my inverter batteries with inverter(Distilled) water every month and it cost me N5000 to N10,000 monthly.
I don't know if there's anything I can do to reduce such.
Any advice from the professionals here will help. Thanks |

Him and Dogara are like the strongest or foremost Christian politicians in the north, and they were expecting Tinubu to pick a Christian northerner (which invariably with be either of them), but they were disappointed and very pained. Thank you for the kind feedback. Elxandre: You basically want to drive a potential bomb from Lagos to Akure, an almost 5 hours journey. I don't think even God would like that.
Modified. I see you already did undertake the journey. Next time it's better to buy even a cheap tire and manage it over such long journey than risking your life. |
Autos › Re: Should I Worry Or Just Drive More Carefully (pictured) by McLizbae(op): 4:19pm On May 21, 2025 |
Update!!!
We took the risk, and the tyer brought us back to Akure, safely. The tyer is still on the car, but it won't go on another long speedy trip untill I get money to replace it with a quality tyer.
Ps: The tyer is Michellin, purchased at 140k each in September 2024. I have had bad experiences with the generic new China tyers, so I have to wait till I have the money for branded tyer for the replacement. |
Autos › Re: Should I Worry Or Just Drive More Carefully (pictured) by McLizbae(op): 4:10pm On May 21, 2025 |
It's actually a Michellin. It is high priced and expected to be durable. This is the main reason I was reluctant to dispose it so early. Dwarfgod: Tire might be costly but if flipped around to be compared with life, it's cheap! I recommend you change the tire because the weight is no longer evenly distributed and it seems to be a cheap tire
But as a Nigerian with two lives lol.. drive conservatively until you get home, can still use it within your state but try to change it whenever you are going on long trips.

Business › Re: Transport Business: Share Your Experience by McLizbae: 2:27pm On May 20, 2025 |
Funny. But very bad in experience! jospepper: It is lucrative but you need iron balls to handle it.
2014 I bought a bike for okada business. The bike passed through the hands of EIGHT guys each with a horrible story.
The 7th guy after owing me for a month went and printed his own obituary and pasted it around my street. I got to his house for condolence only to meet his surprised parents.
The 8th guy had an accident with the bike and scattred it badly. He then pushed the bike early in the morning and parked it under a mango tree that was beside my shop. My shop was directly opposite an Ashewo house so when I came to the shop and saw the bike, I thought it belonged to one of the ashewo customers.
Around 10am that morning I went out to buy food and as I was coming back the bike was still there inside my mind I was thinking that how long this guy wan knack, na the whole day him go spend there?
Now I have a bad habit of reading vehicle number plates, most of the time I do it unconsciously. So as I approached the mango tree, my eye unconsciously caught the number plate of the bike
My mind stopped for a second! I silently prayed that it should be a mistake but men, it was my bike.
I pushed it into the shop, got a mechanic to fix it and sold it. |
