Hi Rajalat, I hope you will solve your problem before you're 30. |
oriadesoro, Sorry to hear about this, im not sure about stammering not being hereditary but you have probably done more research than i have on the subject. But can I ask you, how do children learn ? They learn by copying grown ups around them. They copy our habits, mode of dress , and our way of Speaking and language. Your son may simply be mimicking you, thinking he's copying normal speech from his dad. If this is true, the solution is simple but also drastic. DONT ALLOW YOUR SON TO HEAR YOU SPEAK. I m not sure how youll do this, maybe you might want to move out for a while . . . ? But on another note, 4 years is the age when little boys are most likely to stammer, for a while. My neighbours kid stammered from 4 to 4 and a half. He's 5 now and speaks just fine. So there's hope for your boy. As for snail water and beach water, ive never heard of such curing stammering. ge |
Why not read other threads related to your problem ? You can read Rajalat's thread below if you're genuinely serious about solving it. |
Mjbaba & navyboy, I dnt disagree with u. His friends and family are just very upset. What else would you want them to say? I think the moral of the story here is how do we improve the state of healthcare and welfare of healthworkers in this country so that when things like this happen again, the healthcarers can be held fully accountable. You are spot on about them not moving him elsewhere, though. |
I do not know of any link btwn exercise and conception. However, i do know that some overweight wo.men do have difficulty conceiving. Weight loss thru dieting and exercise can help these cases. |
No Reindeer Im only paraphrasing what Seyi Law said on the news. As for the autopsy report, a Dr (name witheld ) on the ward he was admitted to, gave that as his 'provisional' conclusion. At the time he gave it, no autopsy had been carried out, he just drew that conclusion from what he knew. He's not a pathologist so dont take it too seriously. But its obvious this man died from respiratory failure; either from cerebral trauma and raised intracranial pressure , intra-thoracic bleeding or just plain exsanguination. (loss of blood volume), either way he didnt have to die. Let's wait for the medical examiner's conclusion, if it ever sees the light of day. Maybe you may want to speak to Dagrin's manager and family, should they decide to sue. FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE WHILE AT LUTH/CMUL, LUTH WILL NOT MAKE ANY OFFICIAL STAEMENT UNLESS FORCED TO. So dont expect one. |
There's nothin new about rap artists predicting or expecting their own death. Tupac always said to ''pour me some liqour'', including about 50 other references to his passing in his albums 'Me against the world' and 'All Eyes On Me'. Notorious B:I:G had an album called 'Ready to Die' , the last track on the album (cant remember) was about Hell and how badly he wanted to go there after death. |
''Ocean Drive is so blue. . . . '' |
Pls let us in on your secret. (lol!) Im sure if the OP doesnt engage in any testosterone boosting excercises and relaxes a little he could still grow 2-3 inches. |
^^^ Same Here ! |
I just heard Seyi Law on Stv news say ''he bled for several days'' without any definitive treatment. If not for the protection of strike, those guys at luth should be in a world trouble. Intracranial bleeding and chest fractures are easily controlled injuries. This man should have had emergency surgery immediately but was allowed to bleed slowly to death. Provisional cause of death : Respiratory Failure secondary to intracranial injury and multiple trauma to the chest. An unecessary and avoidable death. . .sad. |
I hope the autopsy conclusion will be made public. |
So sad . . . Could his life have been saved if the hospital was fully operational ? Just wondering. . . what do you think ? |
its back now. Many thanks. |
Hi Rajalat Early morning erections dont last forever in a man's life. Once you cross your 3rd decade they begin to decrease in frequency. However, inabilty to achieve erection pre-coitus is a serious problem for a man your age. Think back properly, what sexual infections did u have in the past ? Were they properly treated ? Are you a serial boozer, chain smoker? Are you depressed ? under stress? Are you taking any kind of medication ? If you can provide answers to all of these , youre one step closer to solving the problem. |

Hi Survivor, Are you SS ? |
@ Deltalife I switched to shaving my beard with veet because I had the same problem you had. Needless to say, I dont have the problem anymore. This is the method : Use your electric razor to trim your beard hairs to about 1cm. Next apply some warm water to soften the stuble for a few minutes. Mop up any excess water with a face cloth/towel Apply veet. Wipe away after the specified time limit. NOTE: Do not use razor again after applying the veet. |
Yes Rajalat, i think you mean no erection. I just wanted you to make it clear for the benefit of others. Loss of early morning erection can be due to many things. I ve never heard of jedi jedi causing it. Try visiting a GUM genito urinary medicine clinic in your area . OR you could read older threads on this section posted by other NLders who had a similar problem, like Adeniyi90 , Czario. |
Impotence ? Pile ? Internal heat ? What on earth are you talking about ? Type in ENGLISH pls. |
You get bumps because you have curly stiff hairs ie youre black. A few days later when the hair begins to grow , it grows out at an angle sometimes into the skin causing the bumps. You need to follow the directions on the veet to the letter. You can also apply some warm water before the veet. |
*Speechless* |
nice one ! But you'd also get a similar effect placing the egg in amicrowave oven and switching it on. that mobile phone damage the brain over time is no secret , a handsfree kit may reduce your exposure to harmful microwave frequencies. PS Guess what happens when you put your mobile in your microwave oven and switch it on ? |
the solution here is very simple and practical. STOP SHAVING. Use a depilatory cream instead eg. VEET. I know its a little more expensive than shaving but it still gives a baby smooth finish. Avoid shaving powders . |
Hopefully, this girl was legal when it happened |
I cant agree with chilove's statement: ''she can never change'', although this marine spirit thing appears to be a very real cause. This is why Lagos and PH (aquatic cities) are infested with gays, so ive been told . Abuja, like other world capitals is Nigeria's spiritual seat of darkness so you have lots there too. She can overcome it with the proper spiritual approach - deliverance. |
Hi Dominique, Lets try to keep it simple and view it from the perspective of heterozygous advantage. The S gene is a mutant gene which emerged to help the african resist malaria infection. The gene was meant to act in combination with normal ''A'' hemoglobin to create a heterozygous resistant ''AS'' hemoglobin. Some people will even tell you that AS ppl are stronger and bigger than AA - Thats what genes do over time, they adapt to their environment to produce species that are better suited to survival in both physical and genetic attributes. Some sicklers, DO have factors that make them more resistant than the other sickler , in the lab at electrophoresis the result may come up as SS + f ,or SC + f, that factor connotes some resistance to malaria but not only that, it may also indicate that the hemoglobin doesnt sickle as easily and a lot of other things only a hematologist or clinical pathologist can tell you. At the molecular level in a petri-dish these sicklers can be said to be healthier than others. But as I said before, when S combines with S, heterozygous advantage is lost. Also very important to note that sicklers are generally MORE PRONE to any type of infection than normal folk, some books even go as far as saying patients, with sickle cell disorder are more or less IMMUNOCOMPROMISED, this so because : 1. They have low amount of oxygen in their blood frm the anaemia. 2. They are COMPLEMENT deficient, complements are proteins necessary for succesful immune response, they dont have very much of it. 3. Even though, they have relatively high white cell count , the white cells don't always function properly. 4. They have a higher micro-nutrient requirements than normal ppl because of the high turnover of cells. They can easily become deficient in zinc, folate, selenium, copper and other minerals important for a properly functioning immune system. This list is by no means exhaustive but i'll stop here. So this is why we try to 'cover' them with prophylaxis from chest infections by pnuemoccocus, bone marrow infection from salmonella etc. with vaccinations. As you know, there is no vaccine for malaria yet, otherwise we would ask them to go for a malaria 'shot' as well. |
