FireUpNow:Take it or leave it? Must you always feel attacked in everything? Your reply seems like someone that feels really attacked. Why do Nigerians always feel like someone is fighting them in every little thing? For a man like you that already have gray hairs all over his head, I expected you to be calm at your current age. Except that you feel you want to carry this world along when the time comes for all to pass on. You had better behave yourself now! |
Emma09:You went to school but no proof to show for it. You better go and collect your certificate before rats go chop am. |
FireUpNow:Which one is faculty of science again? The phrase Faculty of science is too broad. Is it Faculty of Social Science, Faculty of Life Science or Faculty of Physical Science? Which one are you referring to? Be specific. |
Zinny91:An excerpt from the MSA: "Do not present excessive textbook materials and instructions. It is recommended that each narrative be a minimum of 1000 and maximum of 2500 words." I believe you've submitted your application. But should in case, here are some little insights for you and any future applicant. In Engineering assessment, following instructions is very sacrosanct. I will advise you to stick to the recommended word counts by EA. In my case, I didn't exceed the 2500. My first, second and third Career Episodes are 2380, 2368 and 1853 words respectively. I made sure I didn't exceed the 2500 maximum stipulated words. Also, to get positive outcome for your chosen occupation without being assessed as an Engineering Technologist by your assessor, make sure that you sufficiently align your CDRs with the actual roles of your occupation as your CDR will be assessed against the ANZSCO definition of your occupation. To be successful with this, ensure to pick all the important keywords mentioned in the ANZSCO of the occupation and used them in both your summary statement and CV. Reason for this is that some persons that fail to align their CDRs very well with the roles mentioned in the ANZSCO of their occupations always end up being assessed as an Engineering Technologist instead of professional Engineer, with reason being that they were unable to tailor the CDR to match the roles of their actual occupation. But you can prevent this by using the appropriate ANZSCO keywords and roles of your occupation in your summary statement and CV. |
1Sharon:She wasn't chubby. Look at the first picture. She had a normal body shape. The later appearance is just way too much. |
Omoawoke:Omo, me na 10 -15 years gap o. If u see me and I tell you that I am in my mid 30th, you won't believe. A girl once told me I look like I am 25. Me wey don cross 30. And the girl was 24. I later told her my real age. She said I look way younger than my age. Imagine me marrying my age mate or a girl of over 30 years, no be suicide be that? That's why I have made up my mind that the gap between my potential partner and I must be 10yrs above. The only thing that will make me go for the gap of 5 years is if the lady charcter is very good and if she is submissive. I can compromise for 5 years gap. Order than that, it must be 10 years above. |
They look good though. Any way, do you now see the need to marry a younger girl as a man and not your age mate? Because women age faster than men. Marry a younger lady so that she won't look older than you 10 years later after bearing 2-4 children. So, when I see some ladies saying, he is older than me with 10 years. He is too old for me by age. The age gap is too much. I just shake my head. You forget that you will age faster than the said man and look older in 10 years to come when you must have given birth as a lady. As a young bachelor champ in his mid 30th, I will never marry my age mate. Majority of my age mates that are females are now currently looking like my mother. And the fact that I look younger than my age in appearance, I will jejely go for a girl who is in her 20th (20-25) so that 10 years later, she won't look too older than me in appearance after birthing. Young men be wise. Go for younger girls and not your age mate so your wife don't end up looking like your mother later in the future. Let there be reasonable gap between you and your partner to be. 5-10 years gap or even 10-15 years gap. With that, your wife will never look like your mother in the future. |
Alakoriomo:No brother, we must rub ourselves on the mud today. Where do you think you are running to? |
You guys wish. Naira that has started depreciating again. So, you guys really believe this rumour of naira appreciating to 1200 against the dollar? Buhahaha! Keep wishing. |
Alakoriomo:I hope say you no dey vex sha. Let's yab ourselves small. I am enjoying it. ![]() |
BluntCrazeMan:Simply put, chronic and irredeemable corruptions. |
See how banks have reduced a whole CBN to nothing. See how they've disregarded CBN like a nobody. Chaiii. CBN don suffer. True true CBN is a spineless organizations with only Cho Cho Cho without work. |
Alakoriomo:The thing pain am, buhahaha! I said shush bruv, you have been left behind. Go and hold your bad leaders accountable for your mistery. |
Alakoriomo:Coming from someone who feels intimidated by other people's achievements and just want to say things like these to console himself just to feel he had not be left behind at the bottom of the ladder. So, in a bid to console himself and feel among, he will try to under rate the achievements of others. Common of a typical African from a poor, third world country whose citizens live below a dollar per day with their corrupt leaders looting money meant for the people. Kindly ask yourself if your country has ever produced anything that the world can rely on. Non of course. Absolutely non. If there is non, then shush and say no word! |
Hehehe. You don't need to use money to get down with any lady. In our time, we didn't use money, but rather we used our natural humour and charisma to win and attract ladies. When I say I have had my own fare share of that lifestyle, I ain't joking. To me, I now see it as a reckless lifestyle. Having multiple casual relationships and piling them up isn't what I am proud of now. Nairaland is anonymous that's why I am feeling so free to share some stuffs. You never hear me say this to anyone physically. Gentle men, the best way to get laid is knowing how to whine ladies in a humourous and sensual ways, while once a while sexuálise your communication with them. It's that easy. Let it flow naturally. Never have the habit of wanting to use money to get girls. It will make you feel less of a man. Now that I have repented. I don't wanna go back to that lifestyle again. |
From the comments I am seeing so far, it shows that many of you base all of your reasons for japa on monetary gains. What will it profit a man if he gain the whole world and all the money in nigeria and lose his soul to kidnappers, bad governments and poor health care system? I shake my head for some of you who don't understand the reason many japa and want to japa, except for the financial aspect. Money money money. If I have 500 million naira, why will I japa. If I have this, why will I japa. If I have that, why will I japa. I see all of these as childish reasonings. |
ayo84:It makes one spiritually vulnerable. Those that are canal minded won't understand. Sex is sweet but it comes with many consequences, especially when done with random individuals as many people do. Those girls doing hookups, if only guys know the types of people they encounter on a daily basis. Both living and non living. But some guys won't understand. They see womanising as an enjoyment. |
durentboi:Yes, you can if you are committed to abstaining. I have been abstaining from s*x for a year plus now. Since August last year 2023 till date. Also, I don't masturbate. Pure abstinence. I can tell you the changes had been massive! So, if I can stay off s*x for this long, you too can! |
Flangelo12:It be like say you miss your way o egbon. |
Episode22:How una take dey give girls belle sef? How una take dey do am? I had never impregnated a woman in my life and I am still wondering how guys that are not ready to settle down still end up impregnating girls. I am just too intentional to impregnate a girl. The only girl I have ever dated like seriously in a relationship with in 2013, we never used condom but I still didn't impregnate her by mistake. That's to tell you the type of intentional man I am. That's the only relationship I can really call relationship. Like we lived like husband and wife. It lasted for 1 and half year. After that, all the girls I have ever been with, no condom no action. I never get serious with them any way so I can't count them as serious relationships per se, even though I asked them out. I see them as casual relationships. Not until I repented for a year plus now. Glory be to God. I will advise you focus on your future, carry your bag and go to that UK. 29 years old, you think you are still a child? Better do the needful. |
NoahHadNoArk:You said? |
justwise:Not at all. Far from it. I know you are man not a woman and I believe you've been fair in your dealings as a mod. It's just that some mods have conditioned their minds to be unfair to the men on this platform with regards to the way they handle issues. Countless times, I have seen one particular user whose name starts with "I" hauled insults on fellow members on this platform and have broken rule number 2 on countless occasions but nothing had been done to her. I won't mention names. But I do know of one gender whose name starts with "I" and ends with "e" that constantly insults members. I have gone through her posts and discovered numerous times when she insults, bully and call other members aweful names without any consequence and when you try to put her in her place by correcting her, she reports your post and boom her mod friends will ban the member. But when you report her post where she insults other members nothing is being done to her. I see this as misuse of power. In essence, that particular person has monopoly to bully other members but others don't. That's why I call on Seun to review his panel of moderators and release some of the female mods of their roles as they are trying to use it to unduly silent males in this platform who don't have mods as their friends. I don't know if that user is a mod but I have noticed this unfairness plays out countless times. We really need Seun to see to this. No mod should have friends whom they favour in this platform by down playing their own unruly behaviours towards other members. All members on this platform are equal and should be treated equally. |
justwise:Let me rephrase for better clarity. I will prefer Seun to give Nairaland moderator roles to individuals that are liberal and neutral in sensitive matters regarding religions and gender. Neutral individuals who are unbaised and don't take side with any gender, will perform better and with high level of fairness than those that already conditioned their minds to fight for a particular gender. With the rate things are going on this platform, men will be completely eradicated from this platform and they won't have a single say cuz the platform condoles nepotism and favouritism. Some mods can't shut men mouths up when no offense had been committed. We must handle things with all fairness without always taking side with one specific gender all the time. Let's be honest with ourselves for once. |
RealityKings1:I am not jobless to have alternative accounts. This has been my only account. I am not like you that jump from one account to another. Don't say what you don't know young lady. |
pansophist:I commend you for this. I understand not all Nigerians have that mindset of my brother shouldn't be better than me. I recently joined a WhatsApp group of Nigerians living in Diasporas and those trying to migrate to Diasporas. With the little time I have spent in the group, I can say that a handful of Nigerians are good to their fellow Nigerians. They are always ready to help. I won't judge the majority populace by some few bad elements. |
Kelechi009:Chaiiii! We are tired of fighting with feminists. Let love leads! They want pursue us comot from niaraland o. Wahala no too much? |
Aaaaarghmed:Abeg, your oyibo banny Sabi cook Nigeria food? Cuz as an African man, I can't do without pepper, swallow, salt and Maggi o. Can she prepare you Nigerian food? |
Kelechi009:Lol. I am a Nairaland ancestor. I remember when Seun used to create posts and engage in discussions on Nairaland with members back then. We were among those that contributed massively to the growth of Nairaland. Nairaland wouldn't have become what is it today if it were not our joint efforts in engaging in the platform. Mods don't want us to engage again and any little thing they will misuse their powers. We won't condole this. Everybody needs to speak up or else they will turn this beautiful platform to a dictorhship platform. Seun needs to look into this and we all need to speak up before it is too late. If it is possible, I will advise Seun to review his moderators every 5 years and release some of their roles and take in new people that have not been found wanting. If Seun must give a female a mod role, she should be the type that is neutral in both religion and gender power tussle. No feminist should be given the role of a moderator. They will always be biased and abuse that power trust me. We all need to speak up and draw the attention of Seun to this. |
Omoawoke:Seun really needs to look into the way some mods handle issues here . It is high time he gave the role to more unbaised individuals that are not sentimental. I will prefer Seun to give the mod roles to men because some of the females mods are abusing their powers. And most times, we can see some levels of nepotism in their dealings. Seun, I want to use this opportunity to draw your attention to the nepotism and biased ways some of the females you gave moderators roles are handling issues inappropriately. We all founded niaraland together. I can handle moderator role more than some of these females without being sentimental or using my emotions. Please, kindly look into this issues as we already have too much corruption ravaging us in this country. We shouldn't condole such in this platform where female moderators will be abusing their transient powers. They are becoming power drunk carrying out their roles. All over the world, women are hardly allowed to be at the hem of affairs because they use emotions to handle issues. And the day a woman becomes a world power president, that's the day the world will end. Please, give moderator role to men and release the females of this sensitive role to prevent many things going wrong in this platform. A man will never apply emotion when handling issues. But women will. Think about this carefully. Please, kindly look into this. Cc: Seun |
OgaTheTop2:Where then are you currently? Where you japa go from there. |
Because they think life is a competition not a personal race. Thus, they always feel that the other Nigerians are competing with them and are the evíl fashion against them, reason why they are ignoring one another over there instead of lifting one another up like the Indians and Chinese in the same diaspora. |
Love800:If you don't know something you ask. My people perish because of lack of knowledge. Information is power. Your post didn't intend asking me how. It seems like an attack instead of being humble to ask how. |
