I guess it would be better to buy a dividend stock that has been mispriced, or when they become mispriced, overpaying for a good dividend paying stock may not be a good idea,so i would rather say they wait a little for some mispricing.
Dividend payment should just be one of the catalyst,the real deal actually comes from capital appreciation,which can only reflect appropriately, when a stock is bought at a great discount

I feel cheated and deceived by morgancapital. I have tried to contact them, but they refused to honour my emails. This is very bad of them to be ripping off people in a coded way.

I've never known Morgan to be like this. They do honour mails and pick calls too.
Please follow up with them so they can sort it out for you.
At times, it takes sometime for their system to reconcile stocks. There could be error somewhere.

Some of those stocks have appreciated in price over a period of some weeks, pull back or profit taking is expected.
Try and set your "Stop Loss', so that if it continues to fall (not saying it will/may continue) you can sell at minimal loss and buy later, when there's indication that market will go up again.
Pls dont panic, if it goes down it goes up again........and vice versa.

I'll add that you look at one or two other dividend paying stocks as time goes by too.
Watch the trend of things in the market so you can enter at a good price.
You can keep checking the forum and ask questions even if you sight any recommendation.

However, we are entering the earning season when coys declare dividends for their end of financial year, you may read some pages backwards to see some of their recommendations..
Whichever one you decided to go with, you can table it here to get more updated opinion/analysis of experts on it.

Agba has only one or two: which is UACN or Wapco.
....Wapco is actually good cos CP and OGG also recommended it, its yet to witness much price appreciation compared to others and, other coys in its category arent doing bad/far ahead of it................................this is my personal opinion.
.....your fund size should also be considered in other to know which price range to look at.

Sorry. No cause for alarm once its dividend paying stock.

So, Morgan changed my CCNN to BUACement after putting a call thru to them.
Surprisingly, the average unit cost was also changed to 41 naira
I thought it should still read 17.30 that I bought CCNN. ..................I was expecting it to show over 100% profit nah.
