veecovee:I'm in Morgan iTrade and it's been working very fine since market opens. Try and log out, give it some minutes and login again to see if it will work. |
unite4real:Thanks sir/ma. You know, some of those commenting are traders. For medium to long term and dividend investors, what is happening in the market is nothing to them. Both bear and bull are welcome as far as they're concerned. Bear affords them opportunity to increase their stakes at cheaper prices and reduce their cost prices (average down). Bull is also good to them, they may sell or do nothing......but they avoid buying during bull time, they just enjoy the price appreciation on their investments. So bear period should not be a panic or emotional time for investors. In as much as NSE goes nowhere, the cycle just keeps repeating itself. That's part of the things I've also learnt. ![]() |
veecovee:Morgan is working fine since. Maybe it's network from your side. |
PETERiCHY: BrokerHaruna:Referee is here. How much are you betting with ..... ![]() |
Standardguy:Bros don't get me wrong too. Just wanted us to be more guided here so we can at least have the timing idea. Agba is very good when it gets to predictions but I always have issues with his predictions, he'll just state it in one simple technical sentence and throw people into confusion (maybe na only me sha). ![]() For instance, before the arrival of the Sept/Oct bull he made one 4 or 5 letter words prediction, I didn't understand until market started going up........I actually misinterpreted it but just kept silent cos of what I saw and observed too.......which was incoming of funds and possible price appreciation then. So........that's it sha. ![]() |
MBENEFIT: Witnessed quite some high volume purchase at 24kobo earlier....... Bids far outweigh offers.........55M bids vs. 310k offersas at now.......... The coy submitted for approval the sale of 8.9B units of shares to 2 coys in form of private placement at 54kobo per share..... **This is for info purpose only** http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/31995_MUTUAL_BENEFITS_ASSURANCE_PLC%20RESOLUTION_PASSED_AT_EX.pdf |
megawealth01:Lol. What about the part that says "good luck" and "it may pay off"? Don't you know one just have to maintain balance and be careful when posting on this forum if someone doesn't want to "incur the attack of some". Not even for stocks like Japaul, Cocoa and the likes, that dey don't want to hear about. ![]() |
Red in the banking stocks especially..... One thing I'll say to newbies especially is that you should not panic and sell at loss........ In as much as you don't sell, you don't lose, the loss you may be seeing in your portfolio is paper loss, it doesn't become real loss unless you sell. If you have more funds, don't catch falling knife but wait for bottom prices to buy and average down your cost price. No one can accurately time Mr. Market...... ..so.some level of emotional balance is required here. My one cent opinion. ![]() |
megawealth01:Nov 27. You were pro-active here. I was even saying let's see how it will go first but you don fast pass everyone. Now that you want to price Naija if it gets to N1, how much go be my cut from the deal nah? ![]() Even Loco the JIJO Master couldn't believe his eyes the day Cocoa was mentioned. This market can be somehow sometimes. I'm sure the "I told you so gang" are keenly watching the scene. ![]() |
Standardguy:Oga, that post was made on Nov 16. You could have done well to tell us how many weeks we are now..........or better still when to when. Just saying....... ![]() |
Some Transcopians no get joy at all. Just keep it coming to bargain junction again.... ![]() |
OBAGADAFFI:What about NEM? No news of reconstruction from the coy.......yet.......... Anyway, just saying in other words that there's no way there won't be manipulations if they're all expected to meet up with the 1st deadline by 31st Dec........and the manipulations are welcomed. ![]() |
BrokerHaruna:Hope you know Access will not move in isolation........once you mention Access, just know you're referring to banking sector....... The whole thing is looking like setup...... Let's keep watching...... |
F. U. G. A. Z Hope this is not the volume oga Oracle was talking about........ |
OBAGADAFFI:Not all are manipulating......... We are still waiting for some others to do their manipulations........ especially if Senate cannot prevail on Naicom ........ Abeg make Una allow them do their manipulations in peace. Lol. ![]() |
Zenith: Lots of accumulation at 23.50.... |
megawealth01:Alright! ![]() |
megawealth01:You eehennn. Lol. ![]() Did you even consider giving Mansard a trial? ![]() We don't know how the thing will turn out to be. Last qualification date is 14 Dec. |
rebekah2011:Q3 was out since November and there's been increased activities in the stock since then. FTNCocoa is currently undergoing restructuring and I think some investors are positioning ahead of the outcome........which we don't know yet but could be a merger, acquisition or any other form of re-organization which may end up benefitting the coy/shareholders. The Sector it belongs -Agric- is also of interest to some, since the present govt has shown much interest and making efforts to boost the sector. As we've seen recently in Livestock too. Just my opinion. |
perfectgen:- Sunu was last traded in Oct 16, 2020. - The share price was adjusted to N1 thereafter, reconstruction I guess. - No activities in the stock since then and no info relating to this (from my angle anyway). - Seems the stock is currently under suspension. - No activity can take place until ban is lifted. |
moneymanager:Different strokes for different folks. We have different types of investors and they buy for various reasons at different times. When market is unsure, I think picking in tranches can also work. Just saying anyway........ ![]() *edited* |
UBA: .........lots of transactions and crossings still.......1.1B+ done so far ..... OBAGADAFFI:Thanks bro. |
afroxyz:Thanks. Don't you think doing this depends on the general situation of the market and the season in view? The type of investor someone is also plays a role here I guess. Looking at current market situation especially, I think maintaining both like PharmAlfred said is much better.....heavy cross deals, investors interests, expectation of FYE, low rate of fixed income instruments, etc. This is just my opinion anyway. |
PharmAlfred:Waoh! Thanks. This is one good way to handle the situation. However, those with limited funds won't be able to successfully practice this. Should we now say, holding cash is the best bet for those set of investors? OR Buy and just close eyes to up/down mvmt of prices? |
ebuka1997:Lol. The job I gave myself. ![]() We've sometimes talked about it one time like that ......and I remembered saying this is what I do for myself as a trader, just extending it here. Some of my Ogas were against it that time but some want it, so I'm just trying to maintain the balance, hope I'm actually maintaining balance without some itchy fingers emotionally acting on my updates. Reason we put caveat and advice against emotional trading too. |
I read somewhere that when there's sideways trading in the market, the best thing to do is to do nothing in the market but hold cash. How true is this? Does it mean when market is trading flat, downside could be greater than upside? Just wondering. |
SMA50:There was overtaking. ![]() Also, Fcmb has been known to have very active and responsive MM. I still want to believe Fidelity will take its place back one day........that's if fcmb agrees sha. ![]() |
PharmAlfred:Exactly what I was about to type. Why will there be buy recommendation for Fidelity and then sell for fcmb? If fidelity is a buy, then fcmb is also a buy. Na my own be that. ![]() |
SMA50:Arduino your dangcem don carry overload. Lol na joke o. ![]() Dangcem you refused to buy at 120 but jumped in much more higher... Access, UBA, Fbnh ......strong buy. ......Mcy too is still seeing road here..... ![]() ......but funny enough, offers outweigh bids in these stocks but prices refused to fall ......this market na wa. |
Curry30:Yes. You can be buying in tranches while keeping eye on the price movement too. You can pick some now at around 8.10-8.25. Remember this is strictly my opinion and unforseen circumstance(s) are not taking into consideration. DD also applies. |
SMA50:Good. Whosoever picked at those prices should not be in hurry to sell. Let's see what these heavy cross dealers are up to....this time around. ![]() |
