Does the tick include even stocks that I do not have in my portfolio as long as they are active in the NSE?
It's better to tick all active coys on the form.
Once you now buy them, it will take you just a mail to the registrar to update their record on the coy for you.
With that they can always make reference to your signature specimen, which you might have submitted initially to them.
You may not have course to even send any mail again.

Once you send your e-mandate form to the registrar, they may likely request for your signature specimen. Once they ask, contact your broker for it.

correct, but we should have been chopping dividends in the intervening period. Shouldn't we?

to put things into perspective, i got into NSE around Jan 07. The 1st stock i bought with my sweat was UBA @48. then the doom of the Sanusi era. Would it surprise you to know that with bonuses, average downs (2.90 levels come to mind) and constant dividends, UBA is one of my best performers. I am doing 3 baggers (never mind dividends).

Some people in Japaul just chop clean mouth. Abeg make dem go park well jare.

If Otedola were to own Japaul, it can't be trading below N5 at least, especially with news of divestment to gold, silver and the like. That's what we were saying...

If uncle Jim is Japaul's chairman it will be trading around N10, with regular dividends.
Anyway UNION DIAGNOSTIC is dropping something big.
You're right with the Uncle Jim. Think we've said it here sommetimes too.......that if Jim or Tony were to be the CEO, Japaul wont be trading less than N5 at least. Jegede is a 'gentleman' playing by the rules........ grin

As for Uniondac, that one is an old story nah. The info was out since.
It was SEC that delayed it till now. 35kobo per one, ready buyer.
The smart ones loaded this stock at 25/26kobo before now.
The purchase price was small though.

The share closed yesterday with N2.20.
so multiple 7 by the closing price 2.20 it will be N15.4.
for every 7 shares you get additional 17shares making 24shares.
when you divide N15.40k by the new alloted shares 24, it will give 64k.
(15.4/24=.64k) this is how they arrived at 64k. this is the first leg of the reconstruction.
Thanks so much Longlife.
You've always being helpful in these calculations.
Guess you also play insurance. smiley

Mcy what are u doing.
Let me steal your thing small. Market sentiment looking one kind. Seems to be positive
Generally stock seems to be in 'gbe bodi e' mood. Looks like a desperate attempt to keep price down ongoing at UBA and Access - huge bids deliberately placed at the bottom of the pile.
Let's continue watching

I run.
Don't run ooo, making Una dey do your big/medium cap, I still dey busy with small/low caps.. grin
I observed the UBA/Access trend too, looks like something is going on there. I mentioned it last week or so too.......that it looks like a setup kind of.....maybe men in black are not yet done loading......

I agree with you, but the Market can price it below N2( I hope not it doesn't happen).

It is better and safer to load it below N1.
You're right.
.....but remember this is still the 1st deadline, the second and final is coming by Sept 2021........some manipulations and maybe juicy bonuses may continue to occur in insurance sector before then.

People who are interested in Mansard would have gotten their bonus by now without waiting for the day registrar will add it to them.
Buying at it mark down price with same worth of money one will even get more bonus if the price goes down more from its markdown price.
I doubt if bargainers will allow the price go down below markdown price.
Below N1 is still a good buy self.

That, in accordance with Sect ion 101 of CAMA and Article 44 of the Articles; the nominal value of the issued ordinary shares of the Company be and is hereby altered from 50 kobo each to N2.00K each, by the consolidation of every four (4) shares held by each shareholder into one (1) share.

That the consolidation shall be deemed to take effect on 31st December 2020.

Meaning everything you have now will be divided by four (4) on 31st December 2020 and the price will be N2.00K
Thank you.
However, the last part will happen after the addition of 7:17 bonus and not before.

For someone with 7000units for instance, it will be:

7000/7 = 1000 X 17 + 7000 = 24,000units

24,000units/4 = 6000units X N2 = N12,000

Your initial 7000units purchase, if you buy at 2.30 for example is N16,100 + fees.

After reconstruction, price might not be less than N4 or thereabout..........at least, the share price is not expected to fall below N2 by then.........let's keep watching how they'll go about sha. smiley

Heishere:

Which kind markdown is this? How did they calculate the markdown price?
The bonus is 240%
Divide 2.20 (closing price) by 2.4 = 0.92

...but when I divide closing price by 3.42 = 0.64

I don't know where the 3.42 came from anyway. grin

By the time bonus is added and reconstruction price adjusted, it will make more sense I blvd.

Mansard is currently on full bid........any price below 90kobo should be good to go.........this is just my opinion, I never check their numbers.
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 9:47am On Dec 15, 2020
Obagadaffi come oooo....or who is with me on Mansard?
Did you see price after bonus markdown? 64kobo? shocked
When is the reconstruction taking place and when are they adding the bonus?
......but to get Mansard at this price will pay off in my opinion sha..... tongue
If you have Mansard don't sell at loss o.
At 70kobo is okay to me anyway.

Japaul problem has always been mismanagement

I however wish they're able to get interested coys and networth individuals to inject fund in the project....... will make it a lot easier..
