Lion123:Offers/bids did not pass 16M+ since, and yet the volumes exchanging hands is over 40M @8.70 so far........ GTB: Offers stood at 29+ since.......yet quite a lot of volumes are crossing....... So also UBA and Zee...... Dangsugar : Quite some volumes in crossing too........ We are watching the drama........ |
Access: Lots of cross deals lately.......... Lots of cross deals at 8.70 today...... |
debeey87:Vitafoam is a slow and steady stock which should be kept mainly for long term with both dividend and steady price appreciation in mind. Anyone trying to JIJO the stock will do extra work. FYE is Sept and results are most times release in Dec....... Food for thought for Jijoists. Lol. Let's see if I'll be wrong for this year's own. ![]() |
currentprice: nna777:Final answer. ![]() Chai!!! CP projected N8 a long time ago. First projection 5 or 6 (can't remember well again) when it was selling below N3 then. The tashere units in my portfolio is around +100%..........about +97%..... |
nna777:Vitafoam?? |
ROYALEX: Royal Exchange General Insurance Company Limited (REGIC), having successfully secured a first equity investment of $10 million from the InsuResilience Investment Fund (IIF) of German Development Bank (Kfw) in October 2019, the underwriting firm is on the way to meeting the new minimum capital requirement with another investment due to be completed in second quarter 2020. The first investment resulted in a N3.6 billion injection, in exchange for a 39.25 percent equity stake in REGIG, which strengthened the company’s balance sheet for bigger businesses. Ben Agili, managing director/CEO, REGIC who made the disclosure when the company hosted NCRIB Lagos Area Committee’s Annual Meeting said the company was making significant progress in securing the required capital to comply with the new NAICOM recapitalisation rules and is confident that new investment will be completed by Q22020. According to him, towards end of 2019, a number of investors issued letters of investment interest, saying that REGIC was facilitating a detailed due diligence exercise for the benefit of these investors. Agili said in addition to achieving the required shareholders’ funds from a regulatory perspective, the increased capital will allow REGIC to increase its risk retention and grow her investment income He said REGIC, as part of her business diversification strategy has made significant progress in championing product innovations in the following areas, amongst others: Agricultural Insurance; Digital/Mobile Insuranc; .Royal Titanium Motor vehicle insurance; as well as Entertainment Insurance. |
Jochez15:Be buying in tranches. Buy some at current price. Make provision for buying more if prices falls more (averaging down). That's just my layman's advice . Pls do your DD and take responsibility for your action. I no fit shout o. The massive offer of Monday/yesterday have disappeared and bids almost match offers as at now....... |
modgba:This should be good news for the market......my layman's understanding. |
ositadiima1:You didn't offend me but was just irritated by the way you worded your question, it shows more of negativity than positivity and, the last part nullified any innocency you might attach to the post. If I should even tell you the actual answer, I guess you'll be more sober than this. Let's forget about this. Just do your thing while I do mine. Take account of your JIJO gains and quit JIJO if you know it's not paying off. JIJO is not for everybody and I think we've always hammer it here. Rgds. |
ositadiima1:What do you imply Osita? I'm in no way answerable to you, hope you know this. ........and if you all are not comfortable with my posts here, I think I can always go back to guest mode. Afterall no one is paying me a dime for posting here. If you must ask me, then you have to first analyse yours..... |
Zenith:. 41.5M bids Vs. 7.7M offers........this stock has been behaving like say e wan "gbe body" since yesterday......... we are observing...... **Caveat: Not any form of advice. Do your DD and don't mention Mcy if it goes sideways.......but you can mention Mcy if it goes up*** ![]() |
........ ![]() |
megawealth01:Just follow your mind, you may be justified at the end of the day. Some investors packed it at 20kobo at one time like that. Hope you qualified for the UAC-prop unbundling? Or I quoted the wrong person? Let's be watching insurance space this month too .......for some gambling ...... wish we can know which one Tony may be eyeing to buy-over to Heirs Insurance too..... ![]() |
bigjay01:Ok thanks. Don't know maybe that's why the price of UPDC-REIT is going up. |
swilo:It must have been an after reconstruction price going by the calculation. |
locodemy:Lol. ![]() He's a risk taker but needs to take more calculated risks instead. We may never say sha. What if the restructuring favours the shelholders? ![]() |
bigjay01:Bigjay, but the date is still the same - 13 Nov, 2020 ........or you edited it already? From the attachment, it means for every 1000units UAC-Prop, an investor gets 82 UPDC-reit. Hope I get it right. Many people must have missed that date. |
locodemy:How Loco? ![]() If it's about FTNCocoa, it's not a buy advice oooo, I was just laughing Megawealth cos I told him not to enter yet but he went and gamble some units. If he had gamble in Japaul or any insurance stock self, it's better. |

Jochez15:I think 13 is okay for Unilever. The loss position seems to have been priced in already, more reason the share price wasn't seen on a free fall after Q3 was out coupled with the general positive momentum in the market. Their Q3 wasn't fantastic either, though I didn't read their reasons for the huge admin and promo expenses BUT considering the sector Unilever belongs to, (Consumer Product), planned opening of border, foreign participation and the positive sentiments the stock enjoys, I think 12-13 has formed support and current price seems ok for it............except there's general downturn in the market. -- Just be ready to be patient....... Remember this is strictly my opinion. As for other sound stocks, there are quite a lot on the exchange and they've been mentioned here times without number.......The F. U. G. A. Z are among. What you should be concerned about is your entry price also. If you have deep pocket and ready to average down, then you can be picking in tranches. Year end is approaching and no one can accurately predict/time the market. Do your Due Diligence too. Try and read some pages of this thread back to see others. Also find time to read more pages cos you needed basic knowledge at least. |
longlife20:Thanks for this breakdown. Like earlier mentioned, after-reconstruction price is the issue.... Are you saying the price will be N12? Remember your 7 shares are the ones that later translate to 6 after reconstruction. I also think the after-reconstruction price can't be N2......considering Sunu's after reconstruction price (from 20k to N1) .......but I don't think it can be N12 either, maybe N8 or thereabouts. The issue is, that price will be beating down much lower again........this is the way I see it, I may be wrong. Let's say 7 units of Mansard at current price is : 7 X N2.34 = N16.38 After reconstruction: 6 X N8 = N48. (Not sure of the price though) I think it's profitable but then, we are not sure of the price and if you will be able to sell at that price cos insurance generally have low patronage. |

megawealth01:OYO ![]() Oh sorry, good luck! ![]() You know I'm keen on knowing what that restructuring is going to be all about. Who knows your gamble may pay off..........and if it's otherwise, na OYO level you dey. ![]() |
Transcorp again topped the volume chart for today. 2nd place to Zenith Yesterday. So who are those buying this 'scam'? Anyway, na Wetin I say make I come talk be that cos we dey monitor am. ![]() Lol. Make Una no mind me o. ![]() Happy weekend to all. |
FBN Result is out already. *edited* |
Zagee:For the second part Yes. This govt is trying to encourage farming and have lots of plan for the sector. Quite a lot of enlightenment and empowerment programs going on in Agric sector, let's just pray that those on top will not mess up the plan by diverting the funds meant to support farmers, especially low scale ones. Investors may come up to acquire the coys or govt may decide to pump money into it........bigger coys may equally acquire the smaller ones, we don't know what may happen. Livestock for instance has been witnessing patronage these past days/weeks, I think it has to do with the interest in Agric sector too. This is just my opinion anyway......not any form of advice. |
Jochez15:Do you mean "cut down their loss in Q3 compared to Q2"....and not last year? Anyway, Unilever still needs to do something about their huge expenses, it's chopping too deep into their profits. If they can successfully do this, it will translate to improved results and price appreciation over time. Are you trying to ask if you should buy or not? |
Jochez15:Japaul issue was discussed extensively here some times ago...... It generated and used to generate lots of controversies........... I'll advice you look more in the way of fundamental stocks and leave Japaul for the fans............lol. ![]() The coy recently divested (went into) another biz (aside their core biz)..................the Mining sector to explore it. There's a plan by the management to come to the market in form of IPO/right issue/Private placement or maybe source for investors......this was approved by the coy directors in their last AGM. Nothing happening in the stock for now....................(except maybe for some investors/Jijoists positioning ahead of the IPO/right issue, in case they will pump the price to suit the purpose) ............ |
Market is trading flat..................with low volumes across board............... Prices not falling, neither moving up in most stocks................ |
megawealth01:Lol. FTNCocoa was getting attention before the suspension, we dont know what was driving it then. I posted one information around that time, cant remember what exactly it was all about. again. This coy is in agric sector, we dont know what could happen in future ...............but as it is, their financials wasnt okay at all. ..............lets keep eye on it first and be on the lookout for any info that may be beneficial to the coy............. |
JAPAUL OIL Q3 2020 http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/31842_JAPAUL_OIL_AND_MARITIME_SERVICES_PLC%20_QUARTER_3_%20_FINA.pdf Japaul exited her loss position already since Q1 2020. Hope we can still remember the waiver from Access. we continue to keep eye on this coy. Not any form of recommendation. Haters keep off........ ![]() FTN COCOA is back with "RST" Label..............restructuring............. Suspension lifted........... For the benefits of shellholders asking............. cc: Jamace Q3 2020 RESULT: http://www.nse.com.ng/Financial_NewsDocs/31956_FTN_COCOA_PROCESSORS_PLC%20_QUARTER_3_%20_FINANCIAL_STATEM.pdf |
