Leo, pls it's okay for God's sake.
I knew you've shown your displeasure at his posting here in the past.
He was allowed to post links only, let's just rest this case and stick to the objective of this thread. Thank you.

Hear yourself out! shocked
Forgetting minutest info but keeps posting foo.li.sh questions for someone else that's not forgetful and didn't invest with/for you to provide shey? Clap for yourself.
Okay, you can boost your ego by doing your findings by yourself instead of disturbing people here. You're the type that makes people be weary of attending to enquiries here. Truth is truly bitter.
The internet is there for you.

Please when is Wapco markdown date so I can plan this stock well .
I'm sorry to say o, I don't think you're ready to be an investor in NSE.
I noticed you just want all stocks you buy to keep going up once you joined the bus. NSE doesn't work this way sometimes.
Try and define what you want and the type of investor you wish to be.
As for the markdown date, you'll see that nobody is willing to reply you cos it's been posted here several times, even as at yesterday, I posted a reminder as well.
You need to develop interest in the coys you invest in and be reading updates on them too.
If your mind sell Wapco, pls go ahead and heed the call. Sell it. You bought around 12.85/90 if I remembered well, some bought at N16 and are not fidgeting like you're doing.
No vex o. Na just observation. grin

@Mcy56
Pls assuming after processing my e-dividend with Veritas Registrar for ACCESS shares and I have been receiving dividend electronically.
Thereafter I bought WAPIC share still under Veristas Registrar, DO I NEED TO PROCESS ANOTHER E-DIVIDEND?
* No! No need to process another one. You can just send mail to them.
* Reason this forum used to tell people to tick all active stocks on the form before submitting.
Also, it is advised that you should buy few units, say 10 units of each of the stocks to keep your name permanently on their register, remember some registrars are still trying to upgrade. grin

I know it's a lot to ask, but I think it will be great if you can create a separate thread exclusively to answer the most common questions
I was introduced to this thread before page 1000, yet it took me several months to read through it.
Since you are the resident encyclopedia on all things Morgan, a Morgan thread will also be welcome.
You got me laughing here. grin
Thanks for the good words.
While your suggestion was/is good, I just personally think creating new thread on Morgan might not be necessary. I don't even have flair for such.
Funny enough, I got Morgan recommendation from this thread as well.
Also, I've not even step Morgan office for one day before, even when I was in same Ikoyi with them. grin
Just saying this so you can know I have no affiliation whatsoever with Morgan but I developed interest in them cos of their excellent services. Reason, I used to recommend them regularly too, I also used to keep myself updated about them, at least ah no dey do chop alone. Lol.
Back to your request, while I understood that the thread pages are much now, I think what "we" can do ("We" refers to all of us that have benefitted from their services) is to note down some pages that answered some basic questions on Morgan, as well as other vital posts from the bosses, then we can always reference the page should similar questions/debates comes up.
Anyone that ask a question similar to the new ones ask should also reference the pages.
This way we reduce repetition, the page numbers used and make the 'job' easier for all. smiley

NOTE:
** There are stock gurus in this thread, some render professional services with token charges. Interested person can contact them as well.
** Also, there are some monikers here people can read from their wealth of knowledge and experiences: Pa Emmanuelewumi, Oga RabbiDoracle, Sir Onegentleguy, Sir Godlylifeoneart and infinitisi for various ebooks to read.

Make Una no vex for the long epistle. Make Una no vex for my English too, na night schl I go. Lol.

In view of the prevailing economic climate, I would view a flat result as a super result (even -15%)
You're right sir.
To me the result is okay. If we even consider it from the point of view of events that happened in first quarter.

Madam, please do not feel discouraged by anyone. You are doing well and those you quoted have indirectly contributed to the discourse. It is now left for the newbies to look deep and pitch their tent where it best suits them.
Ok. Thanks sir.
Na too much free time dey worry me self. grin ......just felt I should give back in my own little way cos Ive gained here too.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 1:55pm On Apr 29, 2020
CashDiMkpa:
@bolded...Not really Madam. I was referring more to the those who want to be told invest in coy A or coy B. The assistance you offer go beyond that including directing oldies and newbies on how to pursue dividend matters with registrars etc. Even me, when i am trying to stay away from the market for some days i just look for your price trend updates intermittently..so keep it up.

I have also seen you refer people to go and start reading from the beginning of the thread or start from past pages and I think that is the way to go.
Okay. Thanks sir.
Think I get what you meant by the post better. Hope you know I hold no grudges whatsoever. I talk my own I move. grin

I made my comment partly because if the bolded. Some analyst here would highlight a stock and reserve details of their reasons. But they would not comeback to tell when they changed their minds on the stock, forgetting that many newbies, relying on their earlier highlights, must have make reasonable investments on those stocks believing the "promoter" to have equally keyed in.
Latter na regrets go follow and you will hear the promoter saying things like "I bailed out(secretly) last year at... with tesere profit" meanwhile the newbie continue to suffer in losses.
Yeah! UACN and Wapco comes to mind here.

I.....
I'm very sure most of you stayed at the sideline looking and waiting for issues to come up so you could pass blame, rather than step in to assist or even issue cautions.
I saw only Uncle kolaish doing this few weeks ago.
Your fellow gurus will come out to support and give you 'likes' but they were nowhere to be found when these people needed answers to their enquiries or needed proper guidance. Leaving the 'work' to very few people, and even to me that is less experienced among you here.
Someone mentioned that hope we wouldn't weary Pa Emma and Oga Oracle cos you left only the two of them to be doing the 'talking' here most of the time.
Anyway, just feel like replying you ni. grin
Make Una no worry, Mcy too is thinking of moving to ghost mode. smiley

I think people should stop looking for tips and start doing some of the heavy lifting in reading up about these companies and their stocks themselves. If you are asking for specific information about a company, i guess that's okay but this trend of "Is company A a good stock to invest in?" just tire me. And people actually answer without understanding the person's investment goals, level of financial literacy and type of cash at the persons disposal. Tomorrow gbas gbos go full thread.
Well said!
Guess you referred to me here as well.
Well, i noticed that you people stopped replying enquiries here.
The experts are nowhere to be found, they thus resorted to asking the person available.
I think you people should come back!
When they ask, you can always answer them professionally and give more direction when one person err or is going off lane.
Keeping silent and ignoring them cos they're new to the system is not too good as far as I'm concerned. You guys started from somewhere too. No need to wait to condemn someone else's good intention.
This is my view of the situation of things here. grin

uchetobe once said he would make some revelations on the stock including the projected share price. Nothing till now.
People don tie down money for this stock sote them lose all the dividends that zenith, uba, wapco etc had to offer. This life
What about the unbundling stuff? Any info on it?
I'll rather say they tied people's money down with the proposed unbundling. I bought that time too, expecting mouth watering "unbundling hope", grin had to sell at loss and move away.

How do you rate this stock?
It's okay if you can get below 1.80 and it's NOT jijo.
It got to over N2 before coming down again. They're paying 20k dividend.
The FA/TA gurus have better answer.

NB: This is purely my opinion. Mr. Market have the altimate answer.

Strictly for JIJO. Thanks

Tutor, whats your time frame for medium and long term? I know short term is more like jijo
** Short term: Also called Jijo....btw 1 day to one/two weeks ........
** Medium term: space of 2mths to 6/9mths.....capital appreciation/dividend investors falls in this category.
** Long term: a year to many years........for mainly dividend investors. Cap appreciation is a plus to them.

This is my own little understanding of it.
My ogas may have to bail us out here cos my own timeframe understanding may be a bit different from theirs. grin
