ElRazur:
It is a common misconception to think that locally made goods are just as good as their imported counterpart. In this case, I will pick an imported accord over the naija made one. Here are my reasonings:

Manufacturing standards of where the imported Accord are made are higher and more stringent than the ones here.

The top of the range of the naija made accord will not be able to stand next to say a Yankee or UK spec. Well, they can park next to each other but the imported one will have better options and extras.

The new accord made in naija isn't exactly new accord. Allow me to explain o before una bite my head off. The naija accord is probably based on an existing or older platform. No way Honda will go to the drawing table and design one from scratch for an emerging markets because the cost is probably too much and the locals do not have enough money or purchasing powers to buy it even if Honda were to go ahead and make one.

With regards to emission laws, UK, US et al have one of the stringent requirements around. Over here, there is probably nothing to stop the manufacturer cutting corners. So yes you can have two identical cars but different engines when it comes to emission. Etc.

Abeg make I stop.

Mind you, I am not saying it is a bad thing that Honda is making or assembling cars in naija but let's not fool ourselves and think that it is on the same level as the imported ones. Lol. Them no dey the same level rara at all.
unfortunately you've got it all wrong..you seem to av forgotten that's Honda unlike other automobile companies upholds their quality oath strongly, what am actually getting at is that, before the line off ceremony series of test has been going on,comparism has been made with other accords around the world to make sure they are of the same quality, the Nigeria plant is meant to serve the whole Africa o they dare not ruin their reputation in a whole continent. the factory m.d also mentioned that the model would be on display at the world auto display at Berlin later this year....believe you me they can't take a sub standard product to that conference..

PhonesRe: Why Do Touchscreens Respond Only To Fingers? by mcyemite(m): 9:24pm On Jul 10, 2015
AgentOfAllah:
They don't only respond to your fingers. They respond to any part of your skin, and practically anything that is capable of forming a capacitive (accumulated charge conductor) contact with the screens. The screens have very tiny arrays/matrices of conductive films. When a conductive object contacts the screen, this distorts the electric field of the individual tiny dots in the array. Since the arrays are arranged spatially, you can map the distortions of their electric fields to specific locations on the screen. The only requirement is that your object of contact is sufficiently conductive.

PoliticsThe Shocking Story About Abacha's Death by mcyemite(op): 10:11am On Jul 10, 2015
Personal physician to Nigeria's former dictator Sani Abacha, Professor Sadiq Suleiman has shed more light on events surrounding the dictator's death.

Professor Wali says Abacha’s health was okay just before his death.

''Abacha was generally healthy though he had some health issues, he was treated, he’sresponded [to that treatment] very well. He didn’t have any heart-related diseases at that time'', Wali said.
Speaking specifically of June 7, 1998 -the day Abacha died, Professor Wali said, ''around 6 am I had a phone call from his security officers, and they said, “please come, come to the villa, come urgently!” Before I even could get ready, they came and picked me. I had no idea what it all was about''.

''I arrived then I saw chief security there and he said “doctor come in, please, come in!” We all rushed and I just saw the president. There was another doctor who came earlier, resuscitating him. Abacha was in the sitting room. He was on the couch. He was in his normal work clothes. I didn’t panic. I’ve seen a lot of serious problems before in my practice, but to affect him was very tough, definitely. I joined and we did as much as we could to resuscitate him. But I realised that he was dead because he was firming. We just continued resuscitation and even injected some things, but it didn’t work''.

''I said, sorry – there’s nothing we can do. Immediately the security officer took over, and he invited all the service chiefs to come to Abuja, by then most of them were based in Lagos''.

Professor Wali said he was determined that there should be an autopsy to find out what caused the death. After much deliberating, the family declined, preferring the quick burial in line with Islamic tradition.

''I still try to take some samples of blood and urine and hair and things like that, just thinking for the future chemical tests,” Professor Wali said,

''It’s very difficult to say [whether he died of natural causes]. What I can see. The blood test we did, has shown some raised cardiac enzymes [proteins that are released into the blood by dying heart muscles].That’s why we thought maybe it was cardiac attack''.

Addressing rumours that Abacha died after he had been poisoned, or spent a night entertaining young ladies, Professor Wali said, ''when I entered [Abacha’s premises], there were no ladies. It might be true but I did not see them. Concerning the poison, as I said no post-mortem has been done, so I couldn’t assure whether he was poisoned or it was a heart attack''.

Sex with someone you are not particularly attracted to or don’t necessarily want to do. You do it simply because you feel sorry for them. So... which of the following reasons will make you have mercy sex?

A. Just to let him/her let you be
B. When he/she is still a virgin at 30 and you want to help
C. To comfort a heart broken friend
D. He/she is dying of cancer
Add yours if not on the list
