This time around, APC conducted a sham Presidential primary, charging N55 million for form. It appears that the party in power always botch their Presidential primary. APC better hope that their shenanigans don’t bite them in the butt at the General elections, as happened to PDP in 2015

The biggest losers in all of this are Saraki and Tambuwal. They went all in and lost — their bets didn’t pay off. Expect Tambuwal to lose his Governorship seat. Saraki may return to the Senate, but he will go from President to Minority Leader at best. I suspect that finally, the stranglehold of the Sarakis over Kwara may be broken
