lol @ obingo the scammer...

1. It's nothing but propaganda

2. Anambra is a poor and broke state and doesn't have such funds to run the laundry list he's trying to fool people with

3. Abandoning IGR/Taxes with dwindling Federal allocations is foolish, reckless and ill advised and he can not even sustain such idiocy since the state doesn't have any meaningful economic activities or industrial base to bring in extra income.

4. Dashing money away while hoping the recipients invest the money is not only naive, it's dumb, irresponsible and just strange. You are basically dashing out free money with zero returns unless the money is tied down to conditions and requirements..

5. Cutting back on taxes and IGR means losing money while dashing money away at the same time

6. In recessions, you do direct investments in infrastructures and even if you are going to give our free money, you have to make sure your tax base is expanded and collection is enforced instead of doing the opposite especially in a poor and economically depressed state that's generating meager N1.1 billion monthly.

But hey, it's nothing but peopaganda anyways... nothing more.

Obingo scam.... grin grin grin grin grin grin
since you are this smart, how come you have never been elected in as the governor of your state? The only way to be successful is to appreciate success. If not, you will never succeed in Life. Being tribal or trying to put people down only shows how insecure you are. It might be a joke to you, but your old age might end up exactly the way you have been disrespecting people who clearly do not know you exist. It would really be sad in the end when this man who you feel you are insulting would progress and you become sober with a rope hanging on your kneck with your suicide note. Saying am sorry.......

Politics › Re: What Have The Yorubas Gained From Buhari's Administration by meccuno: 5:58pm On Sep 16, 2016
So what I can deduce from comments above is that the yorubas actually removed GEJ not because he didn't perform but what they and their region can get out of the present govt. Based on the comments, the yorubas are not after the progress of the Nation, but their hate for the igbos and minorities in the south because they feel that they the lords of the south. Also for selfish reasons. And they don't care if others die or not provided it favours them. Some times I wonder why they get angry when people say awolowo was the father of tribalism. Not my opinion, but facts I got from comments made by people from the sw.
Politics › Re: Why Do Igbos Hate Buhari For No Reason? by meccuno: 2:01am On Sep 16, 2016
There are no other tribe more patriotic than the igbo tribe. There has always been crises between the igbos and the North in which the northerners were upset that the igbos were taking most positions from them and igbos were killed as far back as 1945. The so called coup was a good opportunity to teach the igbos a lesson. The Nigerian state waged a 2and the half year war on these people and 3million people were killed. Because of oil. You re integrated them back but left their land desolate for more than 40 years. The south east is the only region that has been treated with disdain. Like conquered people. U took their land and carved them into rivers state. Just to diminish their strength but the igbo spirit would not back down. They became successful against all odds. Even to the surprise of the people who wanted them to be down the most. The Nigerian state placed serious restrictions on them when it favoured them using quota system and the use of high cut off marks to limit them. And as if that was not enough, always tell them to go back to their village. The village they destroyed. What has Nigeria done for the igbos apart from constant harassment ...there is no single federal infrastructure in the east apart from the Niger bridge. Every day people who do not know the meaning of hate would come here and be talking rubbish. Your fathers were drinking beer while mine were running from air raids. You keep telling the igbos to forget about the death of their sons and daughters........ Walk in the shoes of the igbo man before you talk about the word hate that you don't even understand.

dickrider:
Why most igbos hate this man is still a mystery to sane minds. He is working tirelessly to fix the rot in the country but their own concern is appointment as if appointing an all igbo cabinet will put money directly in the average igbo man's account. They remember marginalization once buhari won election while they stood and watch GEJ their "attache by force" son do nothing for 5 years in igbo land not even the 2nd Niger Bridge he deceived them with. They claim they want Biafra yet complain about buhari's appointment. I have never seen such level of confusion. The average Igbo youth has been fed with hate and bile towards other tribes thanks to the treasonable criminal called Nnamdi kanu through his pirate radio. They are the most travel tribe in the country yet they complain of been hated. Instead of moving on and working together with other Nigerians to build the country, they keep disturbing our peace with unnecessary biafra protests. Today they blame yoruba, tomorrow it's hausa/fulani. The few patriots amongst them like father Mbaka and Joe igbokwe has been labeled traitors because they failed to hate other tribes and buhari. Nnamdi kanu is their hero and Savior for teaching them to kill their fellow Nigerians. What a group of people those easterners are? They claim lord Luggard made a mistake making them Nigerians forgetting that even the almighty USA was colonized by Britain. There is strength in our diversity and the earlier the igbos reorientate their brainwashed youths the better for them. I have never seen such level of hatred and unpatriotic gestures against one's nation The igbos have no other place to call home, we are all Nigerians and forever will be Nigerians.

I pray God delivers them from hate and victim mentality sad

Left to wailers, they'd be thrilled if elections can be next week so they can finally force it down everyone's throat that "PMB has failed!". Unfortunately that dream declaration will never come to pass, just like their dead, buried and decayed GEJ till 2019 chant.

President Buhari remains the best choice we had in the 2015 elections and I remain absolutely confident with logical reasons, that PMB is the man to pull Nigeria out of the downward spiral that the failed, defeated and dying PDP put it in before handing over the reins of leadership. There is this creeping belief that even the wailers and triPODS know that Buhari has the integrity, experience, resolve and determination to make Nigeria work which is why they are in a haste to declare his administration as 'failed' just one year into his 4 year tenure.

With the Dangote refinery and gas plant coming into operation in 2018 solving our petroleum and power supply issues, the agricultural revolution going on across states particularly in the North, the ongoing tax reforms and efforts to develop our steel industry and the exploitation of solid minerals etc; it's only a half educated and severely ignorant bigot that will fail to see that Nigeria is moving in the right direction and Buhari's presidency is on course to be a resounding success.

Let them wail, time will tell. cheesy

Buhari to Nigerians: I'll get economy right

President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that his administration will get the economy right by the grace of God.

President Buhari on Sunday gave the assurance in his Eid-El-Kabir message to Nigerians.

The president said he saluted the citizens' steadfastness in spite of the difficult economic times the country was going through.

President Buhari acknowledged that the citizens had exhibited in equal measure, piety and sacrifice which, according to him, are lessons of the Eid.

He said the present recession was as a result of cumulative effects of worldwide economic downturn and failure in the past to plan and save for difficult times.

According to Buhari, "It is impossible to separate the present from the past, to appreciate the extent to which mistakes of the past are affecting everyday life today."

The president also assures that his administration was working round the clock to remove the hardships the country was going through.

"Rail and road constructions, projects in the housing sector, support for farmers and for small and medium scale industries, youth and women's empowerment programmes, support for revival of industries are all designed to reinvigorate the economy and enhance living standards of ordinary people.

"We are getting security right. We are stopping corruption in its tracks and we will get the economy right by the Grace of God," President Buhari stated.

He enjoined Muslims to live by the dictates of Islam as well as to keep good relationships with their Christian brothers and sisters and as patriots in order to maintain the spirit of the Nigerian nation.
